Was parked in Downtown Reno and my car wouldn't start and the app was showing a bunch of errors so I requested Mazda Roadside Assistance to tow my car to the dealer. Prior to parking the car was operating normally and showed no warning indicators. I was with some out of town guests and had a dinner scheduled to go to so I left the keys under the drivers mat and left the car and passed that information along. Tow Driver called me about an hour and a half later and send he had arrived. 10 minutes later he said he got it started by jumping it and asked me if I wanted him to bring the car to me at my location (I was at the Peppermill). I said as long as it would not cost me any money, then sure, why not. Upon arriving at the Peppermill the right rear tire was flat. The driver asked if I had hit something. I told him no and even if I did, the car would have not driven properly on a flat tire and the tire pressure monitoring system would have alerted me. The damage to the tire was a large slice in the sidewall on the INSIDE of the tire! Why would the driver ask if I wanted to bring the car to me if the car had a flat tire? (Because before he towed it, it didn't.) It is obvious the tire was damaged when it was pulled onto the trailer. The tire dealership would not replace just the damaged tire even though the new tire tread depth would be within the 4/32nd depth difference as the used tires. So I went out of my way to purchase a used tire on Ebay, have it mounted on the wheel and put the wheel on the car myself. Note that an insurance claim is unrealistic in this case as it has to be a collision claim, not a comprehensive claim and the collision deductible of $500 or even $250 would not make it worth filing a claim. Plus then I'd have a collision claim on my insurance history. So I got to thinking, if I was the towing company business owner, the fair thing to do would be to reimburse the customer for the tire replacement cost, especially considering the customer went out of there way to purchase a single used tire instead of having multiple new tires installed. Sent a letter over three weeks ago asking for reimbursement for the $100.64 total cost of the used tire plus mounting and balancing. Never heard from them. Not an upstanding business.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This company was assigned to me through my insurance's roadside assistance. My battery went dead overnight, and I had it towed to the shop since it was covered. The shop did the repairs, but when I drove home, I noticed my wheels were horribly misaligned. Upon arriving home, I noticed the rear wheels didn't look straight. I attempted to contact City Auto Towing immediately and was told they would get back to me at an indeterminate time. The next day, after being on the phone with the insurance company for over an hour, I went down the street to Les Schwab get it fixed. The mechanic noticed that both control arms were bent in exactly the way you'd expect them to be if improperly handled by the towing company. I called the towing company back after I took pictures and before I approved any repairs. I was told that someone would get back to me later (again). Given that it was Saturday, the shop was closed on Sunday, and I had work Monday morning, I approved the repairs, expecting reimbursement. I got a call after approving the repairs and walking home to wait for service to be done. It was City Auto Towing. The man on the phone suggested that the repairs would not be reimbursed unless I went through their process. First of all, I don't trust them with my car anymore. Secondly, they wouldn't get to it until Monday when I would be at work. The guy even suggested driving the car in an unsafe condition and allowing them to take the car from my place of work. If you caused the damage, you don't get to dictate to me how I have to go about fixing it. I don't care if that's how things are usually done. I don't care if it's normal. It's not right. City Auto Towing has now cost me almost $400 for something that should have been a free service. They are an embarrassment to their profession and should be ashamed.

So I suck and I did not get my drivers name but he was amazing. I requested a tow through my insurance company for two flat tires. I got quoted a time by insurance in excess of an hour and a half. My driver was there within the hour which was amazing coming out of rush hour! He got my car loaded up super quick and to my tire place while there were still staff onsite. Three hours beginning to end and my car is fixed all due to my drivers timeliness.

This place is a joke!!!!!! The most unprofessional lady up front who we are gonna call hagetha for this report! She is so rude and inconsiderate. They are running an extortion ring over charging 15 minutes overage fees on top of a $611 release fee $152 extra dollars is complete b/s this place is a joke and should lose their license and ability to receive calls. They hold your car hostage, they don't want to show receipt before you pay they discriminate. Pray your call don't shuffled to these clowns I am pretty sure this place is on there way out very scummy location. They eat on the front desk like slobs! This place is a complete abomination! Avoid them like the plague, you're better off pushing your car instead of these clowns even touching your car. I personally would not let them tow a plastic big wheel let alone a car. 1quarter star they also have a used car lot up front, you get what you deserve if you buy a pencil from this fraudulent business. Cars were all extorted from customers that can't afford there hold fees and now they wanna sell crap cars to customers, beware of this scum hole run away fast,, look at all the shrapnel you have to drive over to get your car , what a dump, lazy bastards

Beside my home office massage I have RV parking with full hookups and pet boarding

Above and beyond--earned a customer for life…read more I don't usually gush about tire shops, but RNR Tire Express in Reno earned it. I brought in my 2021 Sprinter High Roof overland rig with recurring alignment issues caused by an off-road tire and rim setup. This is not a small or easy vehicle to deal with--and after five failed attempts at other shops in a single day, I was pretty skeptical. From the very first call, Austin set the tone. He actually listened, understood the problem, and reassured me they could accommodate my oversized van. That alone was a win. When I arrived, Jacob and Jesse came out, took a real look at what I was experiencing, and didn't try to hand-wave the issue away. Instead, they helped get me set up with a replacement set of tires and rims--KO2s (fantastic tires, by the way). Professional, knowledgeable, and zero attitude. We hit a snag when it turned out my van was overweight for the alignment. Instead of shrugging and sending me on my way, Sonia (the manager) stepped in, got me taken care of, and coordinated an appointment at their Carson location. Huge thanks to Tony over there as well for making that happen. Bottom line: this entire team went out of their way to help when it would've been easier to say "not our problem." That kind of service is rare. RNR Tire Express has my business going forward. If you've got a non-standard vehicle, an overland rig, or just want to deal with people who actually care--this is the place.

Worked with Austin for an install of tires I sent to their shop from Tire Rack , very fast,…read moreefficient, and great price for mount, balance, and alignment. Would reach out to them again for any tire needs.
