There was a couple waiting to be seated before us - we waited a good 10 minutes before the host ever showed up. When he did, he strolled up with no sense of urgency and give the people before us their menu and pointed to where they could go sit themselves down. I responded with, " yeah, the lack of urgency on your end". He proceeds to tell me the protocol for sitting people .
