I had the El Tampiquena (fajita meat, two cheese enchiladas, beef taco, rice and beans). All was good. Nice flavor to the meat. Chips when sat down served with pico and a green sauce. Spicy hot but really good. Will return. Check out the reviews for the other location if you want more details.

I was told that the restaurant gets packed on the evenings and weekends. The staff was very friendly and I appreciated both the Spanish and English they spoke to me in! I ordered the Lonche lunch special (8/10). I had never had Lonches before and it was a nice little treat. The ground beef was placed in small bread and they provided some accompaniments to dress the lonches to your liking. I really enjoyed them and hope to come back and try out more entrees in the future! Go check them out, you won't be disappointed!

However, the food is overpriced and the service we received was dismissive. There were a lot of flies inside, and we found a fly in our margarita after a couple of sips. When we brought this up to the server, no apologizes were made and it was brushed over. We were told they replaced it with a new one, but the glass we received after was the exact same level it had been previously, which we were told was due to restaurant policy. Important to note, the "full" glass we were given not even a full glass. We returned the drink due to not feeling confident in the change. Would not recommend this place, and would recommend driving out to some of the other further restaurants in the area!

Our server, son-in-law to Martha was quite pleasant, efficient and there for us as needed. Drinks came fast and honestly, our meals didn't take long either. Meals ordered: - Meatloaf with mashed potatoes, salad and corn (or green beans) - Hot Beef Sandwich with mashed potatoes - Beef Enchiladas with refried beans and rice - Mexican Plate with refried beans and rice We all felt our meals were decent. Not amazing but good food. I enjoyed the beef enchiladas more than the meatloaf. That said, my leftover meatloaf will make a good cold sandwich. A couple of us shared the Fried Ice Cream dessert. We've had this before and it was excellent.

My husband and I went for a late lunch at your establishment on August 4th. I was extremely excited…read moreto spend my afternoon in the presence of a great restaurant, I was thrilled to be here. We got sat down and ordered our drinks. I got a tea and the hubby ordered a beer. I was undecided at to what I wanted for my birthday lunch (I didn't tell the staff it was my birthday at any point during our visit and I wanted to keep it that way). The waitress came back a while later and we ordered our food. I was finished with my tea and the hubby with is beer. The waitress never appeared to asks us if we wanted refills. So our food came about 20-30 minuets later. At that point she asked if we wanted refills. We said yes, of course we do. I got the fajita plate, It was warm-cold at best. I was hoping it be pipping hot. It's fajitas so it was a BIG turn off BAD!!!!!!?I put my fajita plate to the side and it took a while for the waitress to come back, I wanted to order another plate. I got the Flounder that was stuffed with crab meat. I was excited by the sound of flounder (my favorite type of fish with crab meat) my mouth was watering! When the fish came out to the table and it had no flavor WHATSOEVER!!!!! I'm a seafood lover and I can tell you that it was a disappointment! I really was disappointed with the whole experience. Of all days, my birthday.........at your restaurant! It was also a disappointment that I only got 2 refills of iced tea. I have patronized your establishment so many time and never have I been disappointed as much as I was today, on my birthday! As my husband and I were Checking out at the front desk, cause the waitress never came over to give us are bill, I told the manger or whomever it was at the front desk how LACK LUSTER our experience was. Never out of the years we have eaten there, have we a bad experience like this. Anytime we do go, we always ask for Jorge, he is our go to waiter. He is a wonderful waiter very receptive and curious. We have had other waiter/waitresses and they are so good as well, never had a problem with anyone. I don't know if this waitress was new or in a bad frame of mind but we weren't happy at all, or at least I wasn't happy. I will continue to go to your establishment because it is good food and I like the environment, and one instance shouldn't determine the inadequacies. We enjoy the atmosphere and really love the food. We enjoy Jorge and everyone else that waits on us. We are generous with tips, just ask Jorge, he will tell you. BTW, we did pay for all our food even the two plates that weren't to my expectation. We do genuinely like eating here and will go back again in the future.

I requested beef fajitas, two cheddar cheese enchiladas, a crispy corn taco with ground beef filling. The plate included rice and beans, guacamole and a choice of tortillas. I asked for flour. When my plate arrived the food looked hot, tasty and freshly made. After giving everything on my plate a try, here is my subjective assessment of the meal. Again, this was my only visit so I didn't try anything else. Service: 5 out 5, servers were friendly, helpful and attentive. You can tell they take pride in their jobs. They all wore matching black T-shirts. They refilled my drink and stopped by to ask if I needed anything else. Atmosphere: 5 out 5, not fancy but who cares. It was clean, comfortable and inviting. It feels like it's been there since 1972. Food: 3 out 5, although the items on my plate looked fresh and tasty, I felt only two items really stood out. The crispy taco was the best item on my plate. It was crunchy and delicious. The flour tortillas were freshly made and delicious. However, the beef fajitas were bland and chewy. The cheese enchiladas seriously lacked flavor. The cheese filling and enchilada sauce could and should have been better. The rice and refied beans were flavorless. Overall, the flavors were muted and I would say needed more seasoning. I wanted to give it a higher rating. I may try going again in the future but I'll order something different. They serve breakfast too.
