I forgot about it and…read moreliterally found it the day it was due so I called the first trustworthy name on the list they gave me which was city backflow tester. I gave them a call and Ken who I think is the guy running the show answered and I explained what I needed on such a short notice. He was super accommodating and came out that same day at 6pm keep in mind I called him at 3pm! He tested my backflow and sent my test sheets to the County the same day even though he said they usually send it out the next day but he expedited it based on my needs! City Backflow Tester is the way to go if you need your backflow tested!!

Around 11:20 AM this Monday on El Camino, I watched the driver cut across lanes right in the middle of an intersection without using a blinker. It was a pretty reckless move that nearly caused an accident. ​If you've got employees out in company-marked cars, they really need to be more careful. It's a bad look for the brand and, more importantly, a safety hazard for everyone else on the road. Hopefully, management can get this sorted out.

No problem, we clear out a wider area and leveled the grounded. The second time he came back, he showed up with a 4 ft long leveler to measure and again, claimed that there wasn't enough ground clearance edge to edge, and it was again an automatic fail. This was a clear case of changing the requirement, and on top of that, he was very rude and uncooperative, and even charged a $200 service fee. Overall, a very poor experience and we have nothing positive to show other than a hole in my wallet.

Gavin arranges a time to come by, usually within a day or two of me reaching out. The check itself is quick and simple. Gavin advised me on what's needed, when the valve might need to be replaced (not yet) and why the checks are done. On one visit, a part unexpectedly broke during the check, and he was able to make a temporary fix and then come back the next day to fix it. Overall, a good service at a fair cost!

I was surprised my call was answered & thrilled that Gerado said he would be in my area in an hour or so & could take a look. When he arrived he gave me a quote & said he could repair it now. Everything was in good repair & done at a very reasonable price. A week later late in the evening I noticed another section had begun showing some seeping at the popup heads & figured to check it in the morning. Next morning to my surprise I received a text from the water co that my smart meter had alerted them to a continuous flow. I went right to work & saw I had a valve problem. I thought I could handle the repair on my own following some you tube advice, I replaced the top of the valve body. Long story short I was unsuccessful & couldn't stop the ebb. I called Gerado who determined possibly because my original valve was over 16 years old there could be some minor variance to the molding process or I purchased a defective valve. We agreed to replace the entire valve assembly. Gerado who returned again on Sunday with a new valve installed the valve in short order. Immediately all was back to good working order. I cant say enough about the great service I received from Dicks & master technician Gerado. Don't hesitate to call them for your irrigation system needs you wont be disappointed.

We ended up replacing nearly all of our faucets (bathroom + kitchen), replacing toilets, and fixing some leaks around the house. Soon after we had our disposal replaced. Later, he helped fix a neighbor's tub that wasn't fixed correctly and leaked into our home and caused water damage.
