Highly recommended!…read more My wife am I own an aging 1 bed/1 bath condo in Sunnyvale. I've been shopping around for months for a reasonable, honest and preferably independent plumbing service to replace the old degraded water supply line shutoff valves under our kitchen and bathroom sinks. Three never got back to me after initial contact and discussions. One seemed overpriced. Eddie / #1 Honest Plumber, on the other hand, was very responsive, honest, reasonably priced and pleasant to work with. I will definitely be contacting them again for any future plumbing concerns.

Highly recommended!…read more I needed help to finish a botched faucet removal and replacement done by a previous plumber (i.e., yours truly!). The job was complicated by 16 years of rust and hard water and pre-existing terrible cracked granite countertops that hadn't been sealed and protected well at all around the faucet area. Eddie was able to schedule me within 48 hours of my call and Jorge from #1 Honest Plumber showed up ready to go. He inspected the issues with my sink and gave me an extremely reasonable flat-price quote to do the work. I agreed and then watched as Jorge did a skillful surgery to excise what remained of the old faucet, patched up my terrible granite like a dentist would patch up a cavity, and installed and tested my new faucet and soap dispenser. Jorge was polite, friendly, professional, efficient, tidy, careful and didn't even roast me for my ham-fisted attempts at DIY work before he showed up. It doesn't get much better than that! Thanks, #1 Honest Plumber team. You guys had my back and I will 100% call you back again when I get in over my head on a plumbing job.

Had a camera inspection to check my aging sewer lines which revealed root incursion. I decided that…read moreit was time to replace the cast iron pipes to ABS. The initial sales, pricing, scheduling, and first part of work were all fine. They came on-time and finished the job on-time pending final city inspection. They asked for payment and I provided and then things unfortunately became very unpredictable. I had to keep calling the office to find out when the inspection was going to be. Then the inspector came but the Handy team did not show up. Also after they finished work I discovered I was missing a set of extension cord! Nothing else was amiss so I think they probably just used it and took it by mistake? The whole billing process was also weird where they never provided me the signed copy of the contract. Now I have 2 large holes and debris piles in my front yard with caution tapes for 2 weeks and counting. I should not have trusted these guys as much I guess, so be forewarned before you go through with these guys. 2 stars so far because I believe the crew's initial job is decent, but the sales and office coordination give me an uneasy feeling. It's too bad because I really wanted to like these guys and thought they did a good job initially. I will have to update this review whenever the inspection occurs.

If you value your time and professionalism, I would strongly recommend choosing another company.
