Our bath tub wasn't draining. We tried a bottle of drano, stuffing a towel in the drain & plunging, and using that 18 inch flexible stick. We got lots of hair & gunk but no such luck. I yelped for a plumber and 6 plumbers responded. Two had openings Monday. Today's Saturday. JetPipe was the second to respond and said anytime Sunday but I requested for services today. They were able to set us up for 6 to 8 pm. Alex texted at 5:17 pm, arrived by 5:30 and was done by 5:55 pm! Price was reasonable. If they don't unclog, you don't pay, please confirm in case they change their policy. He has a little machine that went 4 feet thru the tub. Lots of hair & gunk. They fit us into their schedule that same day and then called an hour later saying they were running ahead of schedule and could be to our house around 10:30am. We were trying to replace the pre-filter in our garage and one thing led to another, a plastic threaded fitting snapped while we were tightening it. We didnt want to spend the evening and at least the following morning whlithout water access. We called a few and JetPipe was the only one that could come within 40 minutes (it was Sunday evening). After inspection, they provided very detailed quote via email with a first-time customer discount. It's more expensive than I expected but they did manage to get the parts and fix all the problems (including fixing the lousy work done by the previous plumber). Situation was: a toilet in a second floor bathroom was leaking downward onto the ceiling of the first floor room immediately below. The fix involved installation of a custom mounting plate for the toilet in the upstairs bathroom room and also going through the ceiling of the first floor room, removing the existing sewage pipes that had a faulty connection to the underside of the toilet, and installing new sewage connections and pipes. Nick from JetPipe Plumbing came on time and was very friendly. I brought him up to the shower that had an issue and he tested the water to see if it was draining (it wasn't). He proceeded to snake the drain and was able to pull up a a big blob of hair. He did it a few more times and pulled up a bit more. We ran the water for a while and tested the drain to make sure it was working as expected... and the snake cleared the blockage!
