Where Starry shines is their ease of use and customer service. They're serious and straightforward about no hidden fees. Installation was super-easy. And when you call them they were very rude. The internet doesn't work half the time. And when I cancel, they charged me $150 for their equipment that I have returned using their provided label and they keep saying that it was not received and the equipment was not returned. I called their customer service and again they can't do anything about it . It is not in my control if the equipment didn't get to them when I have told them multiple times that I dropped it off at UPS. DO NOT USE THIS INTERNET PROVIDER. THEY WILL SCAM YOU. Between them they solved the problem (a worn out, ancient, cable, along with a vintage router). Both replaced quickly. DC Access a God send to our community - very affordable and no waiting days for an in-home visit, then staying put at home for half a day waiting for someone to turn up. Thank you DC Access. I've paid the same low price for almost a decade, and on the rare occasions I've called for tech support, a helpful human answered immediately and resolved my issue. One experience in particular prompted this review: my router went out on a Saturday night, and I fully expected to wait until Monday for help. Instead, I reached someone around midnight who helped troubleshoot the issue. Even more remarkable, a skilled and kind technician--who had originally installed my internet years earlier--came first thing Sunday morning to replace the router. This level of service is truly unheard of. DC Access sets the standard for excellence!

We've had a building-wide outage since Thursday morning. It is now Tuesday morning (that is, five days later). NetBlazr is dead and was bought by Gigstreem in 2022 and are actively running it into the ground…read more Since their purchase my internet speed plummeted and I would regularly have the internet drop out. About a month ago my internet stopped working and stayed that way for a week straight. I called daily and was given the run around that it is a "server issue and will be fixed soon" but they could never tell me exactly when. I eventually talked to a technician who told me Gigstreem is actively trying to lose NetBlazr customers who were grandfathered into a lower price. That and they just don't care enough to pay for technicians to fix issues so anything that goes wrong takes weeks to fix. After a week of back and forth and no internet I cancelled my service and signed up with another company. The outage started at the start of July and I had paid for a full month of internet so I demanded a refund as the internet didn't work at all after I paid. I was told I would receive one but it never came. I called a dozen times over three weeks and was told "the finance team is working on it". Eventually I gave up and had to file a charge back with my credit card company. This internet provider is completely broken and doesn't care about you in any way. I hate to say it but even comcast is better and I really hate them. Stay far far away from this company.

I was also informed that they don't do house calls, despite their website saying they do ("on-site: we come to you", "We offer onsite computer repair and networking services to both commercial and residential customers"). I suggested that if this was no longer the case, customers would appreciate having the most accurate information, so a website update would be useful. I received no response to that suggestion. In addition, their "Laptop Services" page says "will be updated soon" (https://www.windcomputing.com/laptop_repair.html). Initial communication with any business establishes the point of reference for professionalism and attention to detail. In this case, my interaction with them was illustrative, and I will look elsewhere for my computer repair needs. Update: Since the owner attempted to discredit the integrity of my review, I am attaching our full email correspondence (4 emails), for folks to judge for themselves. It is clearly visible that nowhere in his emails did he give me a price for house visits or offered the drop-off as an alternative, but rather simply told me he didn't do house visits.
