I wish I could remember the counter agent, her name began with the letter P and one the best service oriented people I had encountered in a long time. So helpful and friendly with a kind personality. Yes, there great people like her in the Service industry. We were helped with our luggage by another guy and he was great. The flight crew were top notch professionals. Only downside were some of the passengers were coughing like the whole flight; some of the passengers put on masks after hearing the symphony of congestive coughing , however the coughing folks didn't don any masks and should have. I also enjoy this company a-lot. No TSA hallelujah and no lines! Well worth it! read more

This JetBlue affiliate airline is my new favorite thing based on my experience. We arrived to a valet stand where it was easy to unload and head into the ticketing lobby. It was the most seamless experience I have had at an airport. Ticketing was so easy! From there we made our way to comfy couches in the hanger. We boarded on time and what normally takes us 45 minutes to arrive in Vegas took us a cool 32 minutes! We enjoyed two drinks and snacks for no extra charge in flight. The terminal where we landed in Vegas is walking distance from the Mandalay Bay. I mean, could this beeeee anymore easy, Chandler Bing? All for $98 round trip! This kinda feels like the Spirit of private & I'm okay with it because that's where my wallet resides. Somewhat behind quite literal curtains, the hangar is there raw, open, spilling it's aero contents & jet parts into little piles around it's perimeter. Honestly, I like the 'realness' of walking into a hangar & seeing airplanes! The vibe in the "lounge" is precisely like the lounge at Tire Depot ... try or don't. The in between thing is rough & the restrooms? It's not great but again, it's budget & this girl is frugal. Aside from lounge, the planes are decent! The flight was great, the crew, flight attendant & every JSX affiliate I encountered was absolutely pleasant & seemed to really like their jobs. Customer service is so big & JSX nailed it. My most pleasant flying experience thus far! Amazing! Not your typical flying experience but well worth it. Terminal is actually a hanger at the airport where you check in and wait. They have seating and even a few lounges with beverage service. The plane offers healthy snacks and your beverage of choice. Small, clean and not crowded! Only one flight attendant. This was my first time with JSX. Loved it. I will actually just start planning my vacations around wherever they fly. Valet park, roll your bags 50 feet, wait for 30 minutes and board. There are (for the most part) no lines, no waiting, no luggage carousels, no endless terminals and endless TSA lines... and the flight was not sold out so I'll bet I could decide Friday morning to go to Las Vegas or Napa for the weekend and not deal with the mega-airlines and all their bullshit. I see that someone from the airlines is responding to many of these Yelp reviews... do you think anyone from KLM or Delta or ANY other airline gives a shit about a good or bad review? I hear what the one lady in another review was saying about the Beetlejuice waiting room (that's pretty funny actually... nice pull) two days ago at Burbank. But it was super hot and I never felt is reflected on JSX. Could they be a little more "deluxe" in a few areas? Maybe. Down the road they'll get a Starbucks barrista instead of the starbucks coffee machine... and a sushi bar would be cool. Maybe a pool table and craft cocktails? (But it was already pretty deluxe.) I mean this was Labor Day Weekend and I was able to fly up to my nephew's wedding with maybe 15 to 20 other people on a private jet... pretty cool. Was a victim of the Southwest airlines, scheduling, and cancellation debacle around Christmas and while other airlines had no options to get us home on the same day, did Southwest cancel this, JSX delivered, and amazing service!! Would absolutely fly them again. Had to book 2 separate legs since they do not fly from Westchester county direct to Dallas. Booked Westchester county to Orlando and then Orlando to Dallas with no problems or issues. Service on the ground was top notch. Within 1 year, my flights from Burbank to Concord have been at least an hour late or cancelled due to mechanical problems. This is the 3 rd time I have experienced this issue. This is particularly frustrating as I was taking a flight last Monday from Burbank to Concord and the flight was delayed due to mechanical problems. Thankfully there was another plane we were able to board and I was a little over an hour late. Today I was waiting to board from Eheart in Oakland to Burbank and it happened again. Mechanical issues and JSX wasn't sure when the plane would be available It was already an hour an a half late. . Fortunately, I was able to take a flight on Southwest from Oakland. The staff is friendly, accommodating and a wonderful airline when it works. I would only fly again if I had a lot of time to spare and did not have meetings etc as the flights are undependable. read more

A fun trip was planned and booked through JSX to Nashville. within a few weeks of booking I was sent an email notifying me that our flight had been cancelled due to "temporarily suspending service to Nashville". That was disappointing but I understand things happen. what I didn't like was that my funds were not going to be returned to me until "14 business days". I think that's a bunch of crap, these large companies holding onto my money and collecting interest for 14 days for a service they required me to pay in full for at the time of booking. The kicker is, after 21 days my funds were still not returned to me. I had to call and that's when they initiated a refund, AFTER I CALLED! Then they had the audacity to blame it on Apple Pay. I took a service dog on a flight today. The person behind the ticket counter raced around to our side to make small talk about the dog's eyes, and made little "precious girl"-type noises at the dog. If you work for an airline you should hopefully understand that a service dog is not a pet, and you should ignore them once you've ascertained from the owner that they have proper documentation. I explained this to the person and she said she wasn't in fact distracting the dog but just commenting on its eyes (from the wrong side of the counter...), "and I'll need to see its DOT form too." Yeah, okay, but the dog can't help with that -- why not just ask us for it? Beyond that it was the usual mildly disorganized and run down terminal I expect from JSX lately. With it being a small airline, one would think they would value their customers, do right by them and hope to retain business. I've signed petitions when they were in danger of getting kicked out of airports, I've recommended them to friends (who have actually purchased tickets) and yet I still have been spoken to in a very disrespectful manner and had money taken without a care in the world. A great all around experience. The only downside is the planes look a little old inside. Plenty of leg room. In and out of the terminals very quickly. You can arrive here 30 minutes early and make it on your flight with no problem - it's less than 5 minutes to walk in and check in. read more

JSX VALET damaged my NEW car. THE RATING SHOULD BE A BIG FAT ZERO!!!! I left it on Friday, picked it up on Monday, and it was literally covered in tree sap (entire car and windows feels like rough sandpaper), dinged the rear passenger door, and bird poop, too. The staff was inept, didn't offer to credit the fees, didn't offer to detail the car, didn't even apologize. You literally could not see through the windshield because of the tree sap. Booked a flight from Dallas to Austin, 35 minute flight. The flight was delayed over 2 hours. No food options in the lounge and it was crowded and extremely loud while people waited for delayed flights or other departures. Further delayed on the runway and no food options on the plane. The alternative options of flying commercial are much cheaper, offer numerous alternative flight options if delayed or cancelled, have food available in the airport, and also allow access to enjoy a private lounge. The second alternative of driving (3 1/2 hours) is also a more pleasant option. Overall expensive flight, delayed, no food options while waiting, overly crowded and noisy lounge. Reading through the reviews on TripAdvisor and here sounds like many similar experiences. I will fly commercial Dallas to Austin in the future. The up-date to my review on JSX. After having to stay "proactive " as one hand said they thought the other hand was handling the review of the video regarding my car being driven while supposedly in valet. In the infinite wisdom of the JSX management team it was left up to the "valet" supervisor in Burbank to review the video. Guess what? After their review of said video, my car was parked the whole time Listen JSX, after many flights and loving the airline so much, if I was out to get something it would not have been the gas and millage that was used . Incredibly disappointing! Know this, all my other "newer cars" can be tracked. I will guarantee you that this FJ Cruiser ( my airport car) will have that feature the next time in your possession. First time flying JSX out of Burbank and it was okay. It wasn't the luxury experience I was hoping for. The aircraft was old and pretty filthy, as was the lounge and there wasn't enough seating for all passengers waiting in the hangar. But we arrived 30 minutes prior to our flight so it wasn't too bad. Before your flight you can use one of two indoor lounges or the exterior lounge within the hangar (seating, cornhole, and a fooseball table). The Starbucks machines in both lounges dispensed hot water only in place off coffee and hot chocolate, and there were no snacks or even vending machines. This place could use some TLC and regular maintenance. For the size of it, a single person cleaning staff would be a huge help. Ten minutes before departure we were called to board which was quick and easy. Once on board I noted there is plenty of legroom but a deep clean was needed. See photos. In flight beverage service is pretty generous but snacks are meager. You're only in the air 45 minutes, so no biggie. Staff was consistently courteous throughout the experience so that trumps the offerings. The Vegas hangar is a bit nicer. Cleaner looking for sure. Didn't spend much time there but there was WiFi, bottled water, and JSX donuts (nice touch). Overall I'm satisfied with our experience for the price and would fly again. I just hope whoever sees this takes note of the housekeeping issues. read more

We were weirded out by the fact that the pilots all look like they're 25 and had some pretty *weird* landings in clear weather. We decided to stick with it. But this weekend they changed our purchased assigned seating for our family with small children with no advance notice. I called I emailed asking for a refund because they only tried to do a voucher. It's like you order steak and they bring you chicken. You say I'm not paying for chicken. And they say well we can give you a discount on the chicken. After trying with no luck to get through to anyone, they sent me a link to their contract for a nice customer service touch. Thanks guys. While I love to fly JSX, that's not what this review is about. Let's talk customer service. On 2 separate flights, they broke a wheel on our luggage. First time they said sorry, we can't help you with that. Second time they were so apologetic and helpful at the airport. Then total silence. I have written emails and left vm. No response at all. So if you like the convenience of semi private (who doesn't) and don't care how they treat you afterwards, go for it. Just don't expect any solutions or a response from anyone. read more

I got there twenty minutes before my flight and absolutely no rush what so ever , this is nothing like your typical Airport. This was the most pleasant flight experience of my godamn life. Nice location. Amazing lounge with free goodies; coffee, doughnuts, trail mix. Comfy chairs to wait. Quick check in and security process. (Checked my ID, swabbed my bags). JSX is one of the worst flying experiences I've ever had. All at the low cost of double every other airline. So I'm in Oakland and I've completed what I needed to do earlier than expected and noticed that if I change my flight I can squeeze in between a couple important meetings. I've paid a $50 change fee plus another $40 for the difference in flight prices to change it. I arrive in the lobby, which is pretty bare bones with a coffee machine and a bit of filtered water. No snacks as promised on their website. OK, I guess. My flight is then delayed an hour. Then another 15 minutes. Then another 15 minutes. I've rescheduled my meetings several times to accommodate JSX's incompetence. Finally, over an hour and a half after our flight is supposed to take off, we are boarding. Sweet, looking forward to some astounding service and a great plane. NOPE! The plane is worn out and the service is half-hearted. There is trash all over the ground, especially in the 1.5 inch gap between the aisle-way carpet. Oh, did I forget to mention there's cracked caulking around the window in front of me? There are no overhead bins and the seats are narrower than a Frontier flight. There is a good amount of legroom if that's a need of yours. Well, maybe the service will be good? Hahaha. Yeah nah. The flight attendant seems annoyed when I ask for a second drink. She's annoyed when I ask her where I can throw out the left-over coffee I've brought on board. She's just annoyed. Oh, also, they've run out of ice, so have fun with that very very warm bloody. Oh, but it doesn't stop there. We exit and all of our bags have just been thrown haphazardly on the scorching tarmak in Vegas. Glad I didn't throw anything valuable in there because my hydroflask has a gigantic dent in it now. OH! That reminds me. When checking your bags they just sit in a hallway. I've been in and out of my bag for various things multiple times while waiting during our delay and have not been questioned once, but I digress. So, phew, this experience is almost done. We then walk through a giant hangar with no air conditioning, in Las Vegas, in summer. I'm glad I'm not waiting for a delayed plane here at least. I've decided I would like to hit the restroom while waiting for my Lyft. One must fully exit and re-enter the front to find the restroom... I open the door and am greeted by a grunt from a maintenance man and him slamming the door on me. Guess I'll pee later. My Lyft comes and I am finally away from this heaping garbage fire of an airline. Off to fire this very Karenish review off. Cool, a sentence starting and ending with the same word. read more

Yes, the prices are a bit higher than the big airlines but that's for a good reason. You are getting first class service on a 30 seat jet. There are no problems with checking bags, waiting in line or fighting with the million other people trying to get to their flights. They operate out of a separate hanger next to the main terminals at Burbank airport so you're not battling traffic either. You check in at the counter, which is 25 feet from your airplane. I checked in and went straight to their lounge where there were complimentary snacks and Starbucks coffee. Then I sat down on the couch and watched other people reading the newspaper, using their phones, playing corn hole. The staff was hand carrying baggage and placing them on the nearby the luggage racks, not throwing them onto a conveyor belt with no regard for what's inside like the big airlines do. The atmosphere was so relaxed. When it was time to board, everyone simply walked quickly through the boarding pass line and climbed the stairs to get into the small private jet. There was no undressing to get through the TSA lines or scanners. There was no walking 1 mile to get to your assigned terminal. Everything was so easy. It made for such a pleasant, relaxing traveling experience. I'd definitely pay a little extra to do this again. read more

I do like this airline however they need to stand down on their militant Covid mask enforcement. It's more ridiculous than any other business I've been to. Here I am with my MASK ON Sitting very FAR away from people in the OPEN AIR Burbank hanger waiting for my flight trying to work but it's slightly below my nose so my glasses don't fog up. I still get reprimanded by a JSX employee. It's June 16th and the state of California has already lifted the mask mandate. Corporate needs to update or refine their protocol on this or I'll fly with a less obnoxious airline. read more

My first experience w JSX was excellent on the flight from Burbank to Vegas. Flight home complete opposite. Was supposed to land at 1:10 and keeps being delayed later and later. Originally suppose to take off 12:10 then 1:10 then 1:50 then 3:30. I just want to get home. Should have rented a car and drove home. The waiting room is at capacity because it can't handle the amount of people waiting for there delayed flights . Not a great experience. The offered us pizza for the delay inconvenience. I lol.
