He is fair, responsible, timely, highly knowledgeable and an all around great person to deal with. A few months ago we had wind and hail damage to our home, and dealing with my insurance company was a nightmare. I am thankful for Eric's expertise as he is very knowledgeable on how insurance companies work not only did he help me in speaking with my insurance company, he also helped me in getting items repaired that the insurance company missed all together. I called 7 companies prior to going with Ridgeline, and I am so glad I was able to find them. Eric is courteous, and made me feel like part of the family. He will take care of you, and give you a competitive price. There are no gimmicks with Ridgeline, you get honest work at a fair price. Seeing how great of a job he did on replacing our roof, we had him also install a fence around our yard. The experience has been so great, we are continuing to do additional work on our home and will continue to use Ridgeline. I cannot sing their praises enough. Save your time and money and go with Ridgeline, you won't regret it.

My experience with Houston Siding has been extremely disappointing. On the very first day of…read morework--when the crew was supposed to replace only fascia and soffits--the foreman, Jon, nailed homemade scaffolding directly into my roof. When I questioned him, he told me the roof would "likely start to leak now," then handed me a business card for his personal business and offered to sell me a new roof. Their ladders also caused additional damage to the roof. There were also sections of fascia that were supposed to be replaced under the contract but were never touched. When I brought this up, Jon said he could finish the job only if I hired him privately to redo the siding on my entire house, claiming he would "significantly undercut" Houston Siding. When I contacted Houston Siding to report the issues and the incomplete work, I was told they couldn't help me and that I needed to handle it directly with Jon. It has now been two months since the job was "completed," and I am still discovering new problems. For example, the soffits were installed directly over the old ones, blocking the soffit vents. I had seen similar reviews before hiring them and hoped my experience would be different because Will was very pleasant during the sales process. Unfortunately, I've regretted starting this project since the first day of work.

When it got turned over to the owner Ted and his team, they worked diligently and showed up when they said. The actual crew were 2 brothers that were some of the best crews I have seen in a very long time. Man Oh Man , they knew their stuff. I am kind of an overseer but never ever needed to question their work. Any issues that arose which were minute were worked out quickly and to my liking. In short the end results were everything we paid for, and preformed quickly. Service after the fact has been impeccable as well. 5 stars and major thumbs up to Ted and his team.

"HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE" I chose this company after reading their reviews and they were a…read morelittle cheaper than another contractor. John, the contractor was vague in his bid which concerned me. I would regret this latter. Make sure whomever you use get a "very detailed bid.." On day one their workers drove their oil leaking work truck into my yard and unloaded drywall and left their truck there all day. They also left ruts in my yard. It went down hill from there. They did not cover anything in the house to protect my furniture and kitchen cabinets from the drywall dust. My wife and I had to do it. One of their workers ran over my mailbox and another broke my grandson's ceiling fan, they didn't say a thing about it. Their painters sprayed texture all over my daughter's and granddaughter's window shutters, curtains, our bathroom fixtures, water angle valves and our new A/C vents. Then their painter threw the texture hopper on top of my flowers in my flower bed. John, their contractor said he would credit me on my bill for the damage they caused but he never did. Even though they had a debris trailer in my driveway they repeatedly threw their trash in my front yard and left it. Their workers would leave their soda cans, water bottles and coffee cups all over my house. Showing no respect for my home. I brought this to John's attention and he said they would be better. That didn't happen either. They miss cut about ever electrical outlet in my home and filled the gaps with excessive putty instead of fixing it right. The electrician they had come out, even said they were cutting the outlets wrong. I had to buy 40 oversized outlet covers to cover up their poor work, but first I had to dig out the putty so the covers would fit. Unfortunately we have been through water damage in my house three separate times. Hurricane Ike, The Tax Day Flood and Hurricane Harvey and the two previous times we didn't ask if the contractors were going to paint floor to ceiling and to repair the doors and patch and repair when they installed my doors. They just did it without question. John did not fully explain during the bid process that they were not going to paint floor to ceiling or patch the doors above approximately five feet high. So I was surprised to see I was being charged an excessive amount of money to patch around the doors that "they hung", when the previous contractors did not charge any extra and just did it. It happened on several occasions that their workers did not show up on time and were several hours late. I had to change my plans to accommodate them. There plumber was supposed to show up on a Thursday to replace the water angle valves that the painters clogged up with their texture spray because they didn't cover them up. When it came to the following Saturday morning I hadn't heard from the plumber I made other arrangements to get the job done. John didn't like that I got someone else to do the job. I had also asked John to fix a roof leak in my laundry room before they replaced the ceiling. They replaced the ceiling before he even gave me a price to fix the leak, then of course it rained. When he did give me a price to fix two small leaks it was in excess of $1,800, which I thought was ridiculous. I called out a different company, and they did a complete roof inspection and fixed all the problem areas he saw for a fraction of what John wanted to charge me. I would mark some problem areas that I wanted them to correct by painting or patching with blue painters tape only to come back the next day and see that the painters painted over the tape. We would mark the same areas several times, some they fixed some they didn't. I finally grew tired of their work habits and wanted them just to leave. So I wanted to settle up the final bill with John. I knew there was going to be a discrepancy but I was surprised once again when he wanted to charge me $2,300 more than I was expecting. I agreed with a few and totally disagreed with most charges. This left a very bad taste in my mouth and angered me a lot, especially after what we have been through with them. John could've made a decision that was mutually beneficial to both of us but he "chose not to" HE CHOSE NOT TO!!! That is pretty much the reason for this review. I reluctantly paid the balance, just to be done with him, then John took all the contracts without me seeing it and walked out the door. To add insult to injury they left their debris trailer in my driveway for several more days after they finished the job. We they finally came and took their trailer away they left drywall debris in my driveway.

Sorry for the mile long review but I was relied on the reviews on here to find a good contractor…read moreand now I want to payback by sharing my experience with John and Pristine Builders. John is one of the three contractors that we called for a quote. His professionalism impressed us from the initial meeting. His quote came back not the cheapest but we think it was reasonable and it was breakdown thoroughly and very details which convinced us he knew his work very well. Our project included repainting the whole house, installing recessed lighting, tiling the kitchen & laundry room's floor, gutted and renovated master bathroom, converted a covered attached patio to office (installing new windows, new door, painting, etc..), replacing front door. We ran into several issues during the project with plumbing and wiring and AC when we opened up the walls etc... but John was always quick and efficient on suggesting solutions and what best to do to solve these issues. We off course had a Pinterest plan in our heads and some drawings of what we wanted but John is the one that recommended what to tweak to work best with our house. We're very happy with his crews as well. We both work during the day and just left the back door open for them to work for almost a month and we didn't have any issue. We moved out though since the entire house was a construction zone. John updated us regularly and extremely responsive to our texts and phone calls as well as meeting with us. John also provided some free of charge services for us being the nice customer, yay, it was such a nice surprise. We incurred additional charges of course but it was due to additional things we wanted to add in along the way. John also helped us saved a lot of money by recommending a lot of discounted vendors for materials. For example the front door would have costed us thousands of dollar if we buy at regular vendor but we were able to get it for such a good price. His recommendation on where to buy the frameless shower glass also saved us a ton of money. The project completed couples days later than estimated due to final minor cosmetic touch up however the main components finished in 3 weeks like John promised to us. We were nervous since this is the first time we concurred such big project for our house but John made it go so smoothly and we're very pleased with the result. I'm very picky and grew up with my Dad having a construction company so I had very high expectations nonetheless I'm confident to say John and his crews would earn my Dad's approval. We will for sure come back to John and Pristine Builders for future projects. In fact we already asked him for a quote to do work at our rental property.

Despite that, they contacted me 51 more times in under a month. That's not follow-up--it's harassment. Ignoring a direct request to stop contact shows a complete lack of respect for consumers and raises serious concerns about how this company operates. If this is how they behave before earning your business, I can't imagine how they treat customers after the sale. Absolutely would not recommend.

I contacted them in September of 2024 to replace some windows in my house. I had an initially good experience with their representatives (good discussion, careful measurements) but then they "disappeared" and my attempts to get in contact with them wen unanswered for 3 months. Then they contacted me to tell me they were ready to install - showed up, and then informed us the windows were the wrong size and left. No follow up, no apologies - they just left. Again no responses from them. I was in the process of starting legal action to get my down payment back and they contacted me two weeks ago (in March of 2025) to say "they were ready to install the windows" and then failed to even show up yesterday. I just got off the phone with their customer service reps - the first rep hung up on me. The second rep said he had to transfer me to another department, and then explained that customer service doesn't start work until 9 AM Pacific time (I live in Houston, in Central). Overall, I am extremely dissatisfied, and am back to option of taking them to small claims court for non-performance against their contract. Awful experience. ----- I also see DaBella just posted a comment in response to my first post saying to call them at the number I just said wasn't being responsive! Ugh!!!!
