Once I met with the salesman who came out to give me an estimate I knew that I was dealing with professionals, and not just someone working out of their truck. I must say this company is great to work with. The owner was always very personable and explained everything in full detail. We just had a pretty big storm and heavy rain after the new roof went in. We had a small leak that happened in our living room floor, went up to the attic and saw that the chimney shaft was leaking. I contacted the owner via text to see if he could check it out whenever they had time this week. He replied on a Sunday night, felt bad because I hate bothering people on a weekend but he was very responsive. They had someone come out the next day and found out it was the caulking around the chimney unit that failed. Nothing to do with the roof and the foreman went ahead and fixed it for me anyway - what a guy!. Our foreman was Remy and he is awesome. I highly recommend Elite for any roofing project. My wife and I are extremely pleased.

Joshua and Chris inspected my roof the day after I contacted them. They photographed damage and showed me immediately so I would know how severe it was. They walked me through the process of dealing with my homeowner's insurance with kindness, patience, and the utmost professionalism. Every time I had a question- or concern- they were quick to respond, making sure they addressed all my concerns. The quality of roof they replaced my original roof with was 3x as good as my original. They even installed a drip edge ( I think that is what it is called). This was not installed on my original home- but they informed me it is now part of the code. They were not required to do this, but wanted to make the repairs as complete and reliable as possible. Once the roofing process began, they never wavered from their schedule. The products were delivered exactly when they said they would, and the work commenced soon after. The crew was on time, professional, and very quick. Chris was here to oversee the process the entire time, once again patiently answering my questions. After the new roof was on, the clean up process was very thorough! I found nothing left behind. The entire process from product delivery to clean-up took only 2 days! But- the really significant thing I want to impress on anybody looking for a roofing company is that even after the roof was complete- they checked in on me- reassured me they were only a phone call away for any future questions or concerns. This is a true Texas business, with a true Texas spirit to provide the best they can, and they did! I cannot recommend Josh and Chris enough........ If I could give them 10 stars, I would. I live in the Minneapolis, MN area and told them I had already had my roof done and that I was not interested in it. The salesperson persisted and would not listen to me. Once I confirmed the company name, he said "yes, that's right", then I let him know I was on the do not call list and not interested. He got even more disrespectful and tried to act like I was the unreasonable one. While it is possible that this company is not directly the manager of this salesperson (they may have outsourced it) they do need to better vet their salespeople even if it isn't their own employee regardless. I even went to report the phone number to the FTC and get this, the phone number isn't even registered! That sales guy is using an unregistered phone number... I really EOT sees this and takes this more seriously. I am getting like 12 calls a week still after my roof was done last Fall from an August 11th storm. Again, I am on the Do Not Call list and try to tell every sales person I am not interested right away. They need to train their people better and better vet their people or how they get appointments.

He came over and gave me a quote and was very friendly. I asked for some references of similar type jobs and there was one just a few blocks away that I walked to and checked out. The owner wasn't pleased that his information was shared without his permission, but otherwise he had good things to say about Allied. I wanted some assurances so he had the installer/manager guy Rick came over. Rick really sold me on the company. He knew what he was talking about and he explained how they were going to install the windows (something that Wonderful did not do.) It was a particularly difficult job which I was upfront with, but Rick had experience with it. Rick kept in touch with me and responded when he said he would. He let me know when the windows arrived and then we scheduled the work. I ended up getting them installed 3 weeks early (and on my birthday weekend too! Yay!) because they had an opening. Because of the complexity of the job it took 2 days, so the crew were out on a Sunday which they didn't complain about. They cleaned up after themselves, were very polite, and put up with my questions and additional requests. Really great job. The finished product is amazing. I live on a busy street and the new windows have seriously reduced the noise levels. I'm sure they'll help with the A/C bills in the summer but my main reason to upgrade was noise and they really deliver. My father recommended Allied to me initially (I really, really should have gone with them) and I'm definitely going to recommend them to my neighbors and friends. I'll recommend Wonderful Windows to people I dislike.

It was an expensive project, which we agreed on and signed the contract. After the contract was signed, the necessary tasks conveniently increased in price with the salesman saying he forgot to add certain parts of the project and more materials were needed than he anticipated. Just a bunch of lies, excuses and overselling. The company actually subcontracts to other contractors, which I did not like. I thought all the workers would be working for Allied, so the work and communication could be seamless. Instead, it was chaotic and unorganized at times. The promised date the project would be fully completed by kept getting delayed and pushed back. The crews did clean up afterwards but not well. There were a lot of nails found all over my property. It was very stressful because I had to take off work an additional several weeks beyond the mutually determined project completion date. I also had to closely monitor to make sure the work was done well, which I had to point out many mistakes along the way. The company did not take any responsibility for increasing the prices along the way or for the big time delay in completing our home project. Their indifference shows that they only care about money and not about customer service and satisfaction.

When I questioned him, he told me the roof would "likely start to leak now," then handed me a business card for his personal business and offered to sell me a new roof. Their ladders also caused additional damage to the roof. There were also sections of fascia that were supposed to be replaced under the contract but were never touched. When I brought this up, Jon said he could finish the job only if I hired him privately to redo the siding on my entire house, claiming he would "significantly undercut" Houston Siding. When I contacted Houston Siding to report the issues and the incomplete work, I was told they couldn't help me and that I needed to handle it directly with Jon. It has now been two months since the job was "completed," and I am still discovering new problems. For example, the soffits were installed directly over the old ones, blocking the soffit vents. I had seen similar reviews before hiring them and hoped my experience would be different because Will was very pleasant during the sales process. Unfortunately, I've regretted starting this project since the first day of work.
