Great local shop with fresh donuts. The blueberry cake donuts were my favorite - soft, pillowy and with the right amount of glaze. The kolaches were also fantastic. Each sausage was wrapped in a soft and slightly sweet bread making an amazing bite. Will be coming here often! read more

After trying a few different donut shops, this is now my top favorite. The donuts here are always so fresh, fluffy, and not overly sweet. Customer service is great too. As a bonus, they give free donut holes depending on how many donuts you buy. The kolaches are also good. read more

You can't find a donut store with the value or the customer service of this donut shop these days. My daughter and I have scoped the area within a 5 mile radius and this is the spot. They are so kind, the donuts and kolaches are delicious, it doesn't break the bank. We absolutely love this place. read more

The donuts were light and fluffy deliciousness... plus they have a great price point too. We arrived around 9am on a Saturday and there was a large selection and more being prepared. We had a chocolate iced donut, glazed, donut holes, a cinnamon roll and a cinnamon sugar twist. I'm not sure when was the favorite!! First time and last time customer. The jalapeño & cheese kolache doesn't have any jalapeños or cheese inside of the bread. Instead, they use a sausage that has cheese in it. There's obviously such a small amount of cheese in the sausage that I thought that they gave me a sausage kolache. And it didn't help that the man showed obvious signs of frustration and dislike for my opinion that there was no jalapeños or cheese and the jalapeño and cheese kolache that I ordered. He refunded me minus the tax I paid for my order. Management is bad! The glaze were basic. I'm not really sure why they had a line other than being the only donut shop in the area that's close to neighborhoods and schools. read more

Swung by during the morning and was greeted by quick and friendly service! I got 6 kolaches and a dozen donut holes and my total came out to be less than $9. The spicy kolache had a kick but it wasn't too spicy. The croissant kolache had the perfect texture. The donut holes had the right amount of glaze. This is a small little doughnut shop but they have a good selection. They have your traditional glazed, cake and chocolate doughnuts but they also make cutesy ones that look like characters. While I was here a woman was picking up a special order of "happy birthday" doughnuts. She got glazed but it would have looked really cute with different color icing on them. If you purchase a doughnut you get two free doughnut holes with it. They're decently priced. For two cake doughnuts and two specialty doughnuts it was $4.50. read more

Oh my! I happened to be in this area one morning a decided I needed a Kolache. I did a yelp search for donuts and I am so happy to say that it lead me to J's! Their croissant kolaches were so delicious! The pastry was fresh and crispy and meat was flavorful and creamy with cheese. The spicy Kolache had a good jalepeno flavor without setting your mouth on fire. The donuts were all so fresh and light!! They were not heavy or greasy and they obviously change their grease regularly because the last place I went you could taste the old grease! What a great place to start my day! Growing up here this donut place has always been the go to. I remember in elementary school…read more(Kindergarten) we once took a field trip WALKING to eat here and I found my absolute love with the taste of these donuts-specifically the white ones before I expanded my pallet. Now a senior in college I still come by early and pick up a dozen (donuts-and snacks) for the fam when I visit from uni to give my parents a break from picking up donuts themselves. The lady started recognizing my parents and I as regulars years ago, so as you can imagine it's always nice returning and starting the day off in a familiar and friendly environment. Kudos to the family that runs this place for the many years of being awake when no one else is to prepare North Colony's amazing homemade pastries. I truly hope everyone can enjoy countless more years of service here.

It was kind of a rush experience that's why I'm just giving it a two stars. Maybe, if there's another time we can visit I can add another star but we will see. The orange earl was good but I felt the flavors conflict. There's limited seating here, they made a nice outdoor area when it gets warm. There's lots of parking space here.
