I used to be a fan of Hurts Donuts. They were fresh and delicious, worth the 45 minute drive. On 8/19/2026 I took my kiddos to get a special donut. The donuts shrunk. They were dried out. I choked on mine because it was so dry. My first bite made the roof of my mouth hurt. The maple bar was half the size it used to be and heavy as a brick. I got an apple fritter for my husband and he too was very disappointed in the quality. Sorry Hurts Donut, I will be staying local. I will not make the 45 min drive. I specifically, asked for the strawberry cheesecake donut and a nutella donut. The strawberry filling or whatever it was in the middle of my donut was rancid. Honestly pretty disappointed with this place. Bought 3 donuts and they came out to $9. Ok...price was honestly crazy for what it was, but figured it'd be worth it for some good donuts. I saw this place on TikTok and had to try it when I was in town. I like donuts but fun flavored donuts are even better. They did not disappoint and the lady was so nice! I got the fruit loop one, one with fruity pebbles on it, and a Nutella donut. My bf got glaze, which I thought was a boring choice but when I tried it it was way better than any glazed donut I've had. It's thicker but same texture. Very good. As for my donuts loved them! Unfortunately, when they are out of things, they do not have more for HOURS. The first time we came, they were all out of sausage rolls. This time, they were wiped CLEAN of donuts AND sausage rolls. I mean WIPED CLEAN. To be open "25/8" you'd expect things to be made more regularly. When we did get to try them, they had some fun unique flavors and were decent. Some were fairly dry but overall I liked what I tried. It is quite pricey, but if they would have things in stock more often, I'd say its worth it.
