My favorite: 2 kolache, and the chocolate eclair is always fresh and delicious. I love that they have mixed donut holes. Highly recommended. I lived here for 17 years, and this location is safe. Master Donut was the third and last stop on mini donut tour. It's located in what looks like a part of a small shopping center. The area didn't feel particularly safe at first glance, but we decided to go in anyway. The place gave me a bit of a Shipley Donuts vibe, the donuts here are smaller compared to the ones we had at Twinkle and Ernest. We ordered a maple bacon donut and a feta spinach tart. They also had kolaches, though we didn't try any this time. There were two registers, so checkout was quick, and the staff were kind enough to heat up the spinach tart, which was a nice touch. Overall, this spot offers a wider variety of items and much more affordable prices than the other two donut shops we visited. Plus, there's plenty of parking, which is always a bonus. read more

Excellent first experience here. Like others have said, fresh and tasty AND at a great value. First of all, it's a pretty lackluster, dated strip mall. This joint - marked by a stereotypical and generic DONUTS sign - is not really visibly from the road. It faces north. Just keep cruising around the parking lot and you'll find it. Next, it's clearly pretty popular. That being said, they're efficient and keep things moving. While some of the trendy and pricey new donut joints (which strike me as ... well, just not worth my time or money) make you wait forever and then charge you a small fortune... for donuts... DONUTS... this place doesn't make you wait long (if at all) and they serve up fresh, affordable, and *classic* donuts. Score. They're not fancy. They're not trendy. They're classic, solid, and they don't try to be something they're not. I paid $8 and change for a dozen donuts. And they went fast - much faster than the sad, inferior competition that others brought to church that day. Winning! read more

We use to like the donut place by us in the Tom Thumb shopping center at 423 and Lebanon but their donuts started tasting strange like they were using old oil. Had a strange after taste. read more
