The donuts are great albeit more expensive than other places. The owner is not friendly and expects tips. Back before she had the tap to pay machine, she'd print out the receipt that DID NOT REQUIRE A SIGNATURE only to try to get you to tip. Now that she has the tap to pay Chase machine, it's deceptive. You press 1 to tip and 2 for no tip except the 1 is underneath a red X which makes it appear you press 1 to skip the tip. Fine, blame the machine for the terrible UI, but the fact that she called me out for tipping too little pisses me off. read more

Great selections and so delish! They have some cute toy-decorated donuts. Prices seemed low. Seemed like a popular spot, people in and out constantly. They have a few tables inside but there's no seating of any kind outside-more of a grab-n-go place. The owner wasn't very friendly but the great donuts made up for it. read more

What a great donut spot! Stopped here to pick up some treats for an office staff when I saw pictures of the birthday donuts. I knew someone with an upcoming birthday so I wanted to try this place out. The owner is so great and amazingly talented as by the photo. I didn't know what to expect since I wrote down a sport that wasn't listed on the form. But when I picked up my order, I was completely floored and in total awe! My little loves donuts. We decided to try a different place and this location did not disappoint. The donuts were really good and tasted fresh. The jalapeño kolaches were fantastic as well. I will get their coffee next time but the donuts and kolaches were fantastic. read more

I once heard my friend describe looking across the room and meeting the gaze of a blue eyed stranger with messy blonde hair and a Tommy Bahama shirt that, while hated, on that particular evening really set off his eyes. She called this phenomenon "love at first sight" and I can remember looking at her puzzled, for I had never experienced anything remotely close to her experience with her now husband.... until I laid eyes on the rainbow and unicorn donut at Frisco's Donut Bar. My heart skipped a beat (probably due to my cholesterol but whatev) the moment owner Yoon (probably not spelling it right but again whatever) showed off those happy adorable donuts and my heart and my wallet was hers and hers alone. What is it about sweet pastries topped with colorful sugar that has me singing Beyonce's "Halo"? Just LOOK AT THEM. The donuts were good. I got regular glazed because there was not much else to choose from. The favor was good, think Krispy Kreme melt In your mouth donuts without the overbearing sweetness. I am giving 4 stars because we went at 5am when they opened and I was looking forward to find the cute decorated donuts but they were not there. :( just glazed and chocolate. I stopped by here today because I like plain donuts, and Hurt's never has plain. This place uses filtered water to make their donuts, and I think it really makes a difference. My plain glazed were delicious! They have alot of fancier donuts too. They were decorated so nicely. They also have cronuts that looked amazing. Those were $2.50 and up....more expensive that hurt's though. The plain were still cheap, and that's what I like. I took my donuts down the street to coffee n cream, now called mochas and javas. My girlfriend and I decided to venture out here for some Cronuts last weekend and we were very impressed with the quality of everything we ordered. The Cronuts were fried perfectly, light and flaky with just a little crunch. The red velvet donut was also delicious and had way more of the classic red velvet flavor than you'd expect from a donut. The service was about as good as you'd expect from a donut shop. The lady tending the counter was nice enough to point us to the cinnamon sugar Cronut, which was the best thing we ate hands down. read more

This place is an absolute joke and I'd hope that if you're in the spirit of supporting local business in the community, you STAY AWAY! I was one of the original supporters as it was the most convenient to my house. The owner is extremely rude and charges the most incredible premium in comparison to other donut shops in the area. This morning, I reluctantly paid her another visit for convenience purposes, and purchased 6 St Patty's day donuts at $2.50/piece.......who in their right mind charges that?!?! I'll tell you, an over priced donut shop owner that situated her retail space in a nice suburban area to take advantage of suckers just like me! I don't usually write reviews but I can't stand a greedy unpleasant business owner that is also disrespectful to those that support. For the record, it doesn't surprise me that she's charging $2.50 for a donut after seeing the $100,000+ S550 Mercedes Benz she's driving - classic! AMERICAN GREED AT IT'S FINEST! Lastly, pay attention to her inconsistent pricing scheme as she charges different prices depending on your look. I challenged her price point this am and she responded with, "we took price increase"! I hope the community rallies behind giving her a taste of her own medicine. She doesn't deserve to operate this ridiculous business, at least in my backyard. My wife and I came here this morning to fulfill a donut craving. She's pregnant and so I was hoping Donut Bar would not be a let down...and it wasn't. The place is super clean and the lady who served us was incredibly friendly; she even gave us an extra donut and donut holes to fill up the empty space in the box. The best part is they have cronuts! The donuts were delicious, light, fluffy, and not overwhelming or too sweet. Personally, I feel a true indication of how good a donut shop is how good their glazed donut is...and this place didn't disappoint. Today was my first visit to the Donut Bar. Based on reviews, I decided to check it out. Positives - very friendly, cool looking Minecraft donuts. My son had to have 2! The apple fritter is very tasty-nice cinnamon flavor with lots of apple. Bavarian cream filled donut was really, really good. Negatives - Smores donut should be renamed Snores donut - putting sickly sweet chocolate icing and a burnt marshmallow does not qualify as a s'more. Total letdown. My husband tried the maple bacon bar, and said while he loves bacon, it was way too sweet...upset his stomach. The place is very clean; the people are very friendly and the selection is really good.
