Amazing fresh donuts. I came into the shop hungry which is always a bad idea. I am a huge fan of glazed donuts or maple frosting donuts. I ordered a half a dozen and was given few extras to try. The donuts were so fresh and amazing even my family loved them. Definitely enjoyable with hot cup of coffee. read more

It's not a true birthday in our house unless Terry's special bday donuts are there for it all! Terry's has been part of our 3 kids, now all teens (one in college)birthday traditions for the last 6 years! Easy to order online and just tell them what ya want! Show up on date of pick up and let the magic happen! They have delicious sausage kolaches too!! Don't forget to pick up a few of those too! We keep referring all our friends n fam here for a good reason - consistently cute, FUN and yummy donuts for any occasion really, not just for bdays but ESPECIALLY for birthdays! read more

My mom recently moved to an assisted living facility in Frisco and I wanted to help celebrate her birthday even though we can't have a party or congregate because of Covid. I called Terry's donuts and he created these beautiful donuts for her and her friends. He delivered them and she was delighted. I couldn't have been happier with the service he provided, texting me with pics after delivery. Thank you! You really made her day during a rough year! read more

I'm happy about the happy birthday donuts I ordered here. I called 24 hours in advance to order them as per their information on their site and yelp. I arrived 30 minutes early and it wasn't done yet. That's how fresh they are! I strongly suggest eating them right away. I really loved the colors and designs on the donuts. When I ordered, the gentleman asked if there was a theme. He said sports theme and I requested basketball and football since my husband loves those sports. I'm so glad they ordered and I was so happy and proud to surprise my husband with them when I arrived at home. The women at the counter were polite. I'd like to come back and try kolaches. Apparently a lot of customers came in and ordered sausage and cheese (I think) and I'm curious as to how they taste. read more

This location is a cute little mom and pop donut shop that offers a good variety of donuts and other breakfast items off the menu. I was in the mood for a breakfast sandwich, so I ordered the croissant with bacon, egg and cheese. The croissant was big and fluffy, and the eggs, bacon and cheese were good. I enjoyed the breakfast sandwich a lot. I'll have to come back and try a donut, but I was in a bit of a rush. Their coffee is just average and from a coffee machine. The French vanilla coffee was really sweet, so I'll pass on that next time.. read more

Becoming a regular for my son on Saturdays. Always fresh and friendly people. The donuts are arranged perfectly in the case, lots on flavors and colors. Very clean, coffee and drinks are inviting as well. I took off a couple of stars because I get the same thing and it seems to come up a different price each time. It's a bit irritating, but hell its a donut shop and it's not the money, sometimes it's higher or sometimes it's lower... I just like to have my $$ ready, so I can get in and out! read more

It's a small local donut shop but it's got plenty of options. Everyone has on a mask on and there's a plexiglass screen in front of the cash register, which made me feel safe. The person who worked the cash register (younger woman, maybe like the daughter of the owner or something?) was really nice and patient. Asked me if I wanted my kolache warmed up, without asking she got me fresh and warm donuts instead of the ones that had been sitting in the case, asked me if I needed a drink carrier for my coffees. Great service :) I would love to come back! read more

Bang for your buck sucks here. Stopped in after reading some yelper reviews and was disappointed. Got a raspberry jelly filled donut - very cool that they fill them to order but NOT COOL that they barely filled it. Seriously? If I wanted a plain glazed donut, I would have ordered one. Geez lady, put some jelly in there, especially if you're gonna charge over a dollar for it. Cream filled long john, same problem. So although the lady was very nice and the place is clean (and parking is sparse as mentioned by others), I wouldn't come back here. Donuts are not created equally and this place isn't anything special. read more

Although I thought the donut that I ordered was pretty good, I am extremely disappointed that I was charged and additional .50 for using my debit card. In this age of COVID it has been suggest to use cards instead of cash. I was given a total and was charged something different if there was going to be an additional charge, I should have been notified once it was noticed that I was using a debit card as a form of payment. I called back and was informed that a sign was posted however I do not recall any signage of such. I will NOT return! read more

So ever since we used them for our kid's birthday party, we've been back every week. No joke. Don't judge, but I typically get a jalapeno sausage roll and a white cream-filled chocolate donut (they fill in front of you) and devour it all in minutes because it's SO GOOD. But today I noticed the cronuts and I ordered one on a whim. OMG CRONUT!!! Seriously, this is one of the top 5 most delicious breakfast things I've ever had in my life. This is a review for the location at 9496 Webb Chapel Rd, Dallas, TX 75220. I was craving donuts but not interested in leaving home so checked out my options on UberEats and found Terry's Donuts. UberEats said they were sold out in chocolate donuts. I placed an order for a dozen glazed but left a message requesting a substitution of chocolate donuts if any were available. My order came 5 minutes faster than estimated and in my dozen, there were two chocolate donuts. Instead of apologizing, the man who I placed the order with blamed me stating he didn't know what color donuts I wanted, which was completely incorrect. Not only did he know what color I wanted, he also knew what design I wanted, as my friend and I called him together to place the order since it was for a class party. They have reasonable prices within the range of expectations from such an establishment. A decent selection of donuts greeted me upon entry. They also have cronuts and you can see the pair in my picture, they are real and magnificent to quote a Seinfeld character. The ladies working here were really .... *Drumrolls* wait hold on while I make this longer so you can't see the plot twist .... NICE (hahn bet you didn't see that coming. I got coffee and one of them went to the tap located in the customer area and filled the cup for me. That is some sweet service. (Got another one in). Coffee is fairly standard breakfast blend kind of stuff btw. Recommend a stop here when in the area and hankering for some sweet treats.

You can see all the photos they have of all the students going and having breakfast there (Pre-Covid). They also work with door dash in case you don't want to drive. Their glazed and chocolate donuts are our favorites. Sweet/ soft and toasty texture. Not too greasy either and the right amount of sweet. I do love supporting local so if you are in the Frisco area check this place out. Their prices are very generous as well!

We love Detour Doughnuts!…read more I live about 45 minutes from here so going often is tough but we like to come for special occasions. I came for an event one time & knew I had to bring my husband back to try it. I loved it even more the second time & he now asks every weekend to drive out there. I got the mascarpone coffee. I didn't even know that was a thing. It was my new favorite coffee! My husband got a lemonade & really enjoyed it. Not pictured here are the donut holes. I really appreciate the mini apple fritters. I've never ordered them until Detour Doughnuts because I won't eat a big one. They are the perfect size and delicious. So are the regular doughnuts holes. I think the brown sugar cinnamon roll might be the best donut I've ever had. It was fantastic! But truly all of them are great. I love the texture & flavor of everything I've tried. I appreciate that their pricing is clearly marked & set up for different portion sizes. It is a bit more expensive than normal donut shops but they are also more specialized than a basic donut. For what it is, I didn't think it was overpriced. The restaurant is small but people are pretty polite about space & not hanging out too long. The customer service was excellent! We had a good time chatting with the employee that helped us. My husband's a jokster & she handled him really well. 10 out of 10 recommended! We'll be back for sure!

From the moment I walked in, the shop felt warm and welcoming, and the staff were genuinely friendly. I tried the strawberry matcha doughnut, and it was incredible. The dough was light, fluffy, soft, and buttery--the kind of texture that keeps you thinking about it long after you've finished. I also brought home the fig & mascarpone, crème brûlée, maple éclair, Dubai chocolate, and mango lassi doughnuts, and every single one was fresh, creative, and packed with flavor. It's clear they put a lot of thought into each seasonal and specialty creation. I also had a refreshing matcha lemonade that paired perfectly with the doughnuts. Between the quality of the pastries, the welcoming atmosphere, and the excellent customer service, this is a spot I'd happily recommend. If you're ever in the area, it's definitely worth stopping by--I know I'll be back for more.

Now a senior in college I still come by early and pick up a dozen (donuts-and snacks) for the fam when I visit from uni to give my parents a break from picking up donuts themselves. The lady started recognizing my parents and I as regulars years ago, so as you can imagine it's always nice returning and starting the day off in a familiar and friendly environment. Kudos to the family that runs this place for the many years of being awake when no one else is to prepare North Colony's amazing homemade pastries. I truly hope everyone can enjoy countless more years of service here.
