Tom does business in a great, old-school fashion where he takes time to explain what is needed, takes pride in his work and goes above-and-beyond what the job requires. After a few days of heavy rain and wind, I had a couple of gutters which needed repair. Once the rain/wind subsided, Tom promptly came out on a Saturday to repair the gutters and, while checking the stability of the other gutters, found/repaired another gutter. Afterwards, he proceeded to clean the gutters. This type of pride and customer service is extremely hard to find nowadays as most service or repairmen want to make a quick, big buck and move on to their next job without putting in any extra effort and with as little communication as possible, whether the customer is satisfied with the job or not. I try to find a time to reschedule (there's no emergency here thankfully) and he says it's 1000 dollars plus the repair to come on a Sunday. 4. Says photos will be taken down like in the past. Clearly this isn't the first time. There are a lot of companies to choose from please pick someone else.

But now I'm very happy that Sam decided to take on the job and develop the structural calculations and drawings for removing a load bearing and shear wall at my Condo. The Project started in September 2025 with initial submittal of permit application package to the City. It went into construction about four (4) weeks ago and was successfully completed today (5/8). During the process, we developed trust for each other. I contacted Sam numerous times for questions, problems and consultations and he was always responsive. He and my architect friend worked together to develop the initial design but had to modify it to overcome a major obstacle that came up during the construction. He came over for construction observations and gave instructions to the contractor how to strap the beams together for maintaining structural integrity of loading and shearing. His fees were much lower than another builder whom I also got a bid from, and his approach to things was much simpler and yet conservative to that from the other firm. I told Sam, whether it is good or bad, I don't usually do reviews for others. But for him, I will do one. I'm thankful to have a great team of Sam (the engineer), my architect friend, and excellent construction crew to help me complete this project.

As a first time homeowner I was nervous about hiring a contractor. I was told to get 3 estimates which I did. The first one was a guy who didn't seem that interested. He actually called my project just another slap of concrete. The second contractor was very pushy and I felt intimidated. The final contractor was Jesse from JS Concrete. He was very friendly and I felt comfortable with his demeanor and expertise. He was very helpful by explaining the process in a manner that I could understand. I asked for a list of references address included from all three so I could look at there work. The first contractor had jobs that looked okay, but nothing really stood out. The second contractor was very rude to me when I had to remind him about a list of jobs for the 2nd time. Jesse gave me a large list and also an address of job in progress. I stopped by his job and was please with what I saw (very professional). I called some of his previous clients and everyone had nothing but good to say about him. At this point I knew who was going to install my stamped driveway. When the start day arrived Jesse and his crew showed up on time. When I got home later that day, the old driveway was gone and everything was neat and tidy. The second day they set the forms backfilled and added the rebar. Again everything was neat and tidy. The 3rd day they showed up very early to set up for the pour. When I got home they were still working and they worked late to finish the job. As I watched them I notice how masterful Jesse managed his job and crew. The drive way turned how gorgeous and I'm so impressed with JS Concrete. These guys are great. We recently had a 94-foot shared property line concrete wall rebuilt and I honestly can't say enough good things about JS Concrete and Jesse. Jesse took over the project after we had a very bad experience with a previous contractor, and the difference was night and day from the very beginning. He kept me updated throughout the entire process, explained the next steps clearly, handled permits properly, scheduled inspections, and made sure everything was done to city code. One of the biggest issues with the previous contractor was that they had no intention of removing the old foundation or doing things the right way. Jesse stepped in, corrected the situation, and completely saved the project for us. The workmanship turned out great, the wall looks fantastic, inspections passed without issues, and the property was cleaned up afterward. I have had work done in the past by Jesse with JS Concrete and hs company and the more work I need done it happens in a well manner of time and the work is A1. Jesse is a honest and hard working contractor who does everything and goes above and beyond to satisfy his customers. There was a copper water line that was damaged well they were digging. I requested to have my back wall done because it was leaning due to a tree. The lean started off small then gradually became worse. I spoke to Tim and he gave me an amazing quote with a fast turnaround time of three days. Onto the job; the service was great!! He told me he would be at the house at 7:00am and they were ready to go at 6:45am! These men were fast, efficient, clean, and nice. They were able to knock the wall down within a day due to the amount of equipment Tim had. They finished the job in three days and I am so happy with the results. Tim kept me in constant communication with what he was doing and gave me daily text updates of the next steps that they were going to do. Another thing that I appreciated was that he checked in when he did not hear from me. I had to verify with neighbors and he made sure to check in to see if I still needed work done. Tim will be a person that I will call on if I need concrete work done and, I have also referred him out to other people as well. They do amazing work and call you or text you back within a reasonable 24 hour time frame. If you need concrete work done, definitely call him.

We took our some cabinets, and needed to fill in a large section of pavers. We needed it to match and look as seamless as possible. I had doubts as to whether this could be done at all. They took extra pavers we already had- that we had stored poorly and they were very weathered and dirty, and other companies said couldn't be used. (The specific pavers are no longer are in production though) Cement Kings used these, cleaned them thoroughly with special solution, cut them to fit, and did it in such a way that it didn't look like a block had been replaced. We had also had them re-sand and re-seal the entire patio of pavers. It looks fantastic. They moved all of our heavy furniture out of the way, and later put it all back neatly, even taking care to dust it off. So reliable, professional, easy to work with, and willing to go above and beyond. Also the "Cement King" is so nice - even welcomed my curious little observer to "help" him (see photo!). And besides that, their pricing was definitely by far the best out of many quotes we got. And for the BEST SERVICE. Highly recommend!!!
