I had minor body work performed at this shop which was fine. After I paid for the repairs, I entered my vehicle and found a quarter inch hole in the lseat that wasn't there when I gave them my car. The owner rudely dismissed my claim and wouldn't consider at least meeting me halfway on the repair. It hadn't occurred to me to take a video of the interior before allowing Jr's Auto body Shop to service my vehicle. So my word against theirs, but my wife and I are absolutely certain that we didn't have a hole in the before. My car was brought here by my insurance company on June 5th 2024, they have had my car for 2 months now and everytime I call them to speak with them about my vehicle and when it will be finished they give me attitude and then proceed to tell me to call them back the next week. I DO NOT recommend this body shop!! Mind you it was a minor fender bender that should've been fixed as soon as they got the deductible check in! they told me it was a $1600 fix, nothing too major yet it's taking them waaaay too long to fix a bumper. read more

I initially had a good review here. I'd give them Zero stars if I could. I picked up my car after I had a car accident and everything was fine (so I thought) up until they told me my window regulator was not working on the same side I was hit on. It was working perfectly fine when I left my car at the shop. I took the responsibility of fixing it myself (my mistake) after I was advised to replace the part. The part itself cost me $150, I installed it, window still didn't work. At this point I was upset, so I took it back. They then came out saying it was the master switch INSTEAD... my master switch, again, was just fine when I dropped it off. So why was I told one thing, and it wasn't that? I told them I was incredibly busy with work (I stated this from the get-go) and it was inconvenient for me to just leave work to go get my car for a mistake they made, as initially I was told to leave my car for a few days, then I was called the same day!! Told me if I left it he'd still charge me the storage fee... on top of that, told me it was gonna be $200+ to replace the master switch after they had me buy the wrong part. Just jerks. Body job wasn't even done properly. Paint dripped in certain spots, overpaint in other areas, and the new door I got was chipped/ not sanded properly. Moral of the story is, they're unprofessional. My car was dropped off to the shop the end of May fast forward to July 27th and my car has not been repaired. I spoke with the owner on several occasions and he keeps explaining to me that it's a big job and a newer car so it takes time and keep saying he needs more time. I think two months is more than enough time to get the car ready. The only thing professional about this place is the receptionist who has been very helpful and pleasant that's the only reason why they got a one star from me . The owner is rude and doesn't know how to speak to his customer. If the job was to big of a job I wish he would have just said that. read more

The level of customer service and professionalism is astonishing. I came in Monday with my Nissan Rouge to get a new head light, bumper, fender, and paint job done from an accident a while back. The estimate time for all the work to be done would be a week, but they literally finished everything in 2 days and even vacuumed my car and added a few extra touches that was missing in my car. Jr, his sister and their team were super friendly and treated me like family. I WOULD DEF RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!!!!!! I really appreciate the work that was done. I signed release to the start work on my car 2/25/18. Today is 3/27/18, my car still isn't ready. I was told maybe Tuesday of next wk. Every time I call, I'm told a day for the following wk. I was also told due to my car being a $5000 job, thats why it is taking so long. I was also told that there were other cars in front of mine, that why its taking so long. Which as a customer, thats not a reason you give for your work taking so long. If you're not able to get things done a timely manner then you refer the customer else where, instead of risking your business's reputation. I was also told that they are only open Monday-Friday, thats why its taking so long. Seems as if small jobs are bette for this place. Anything over $3000, is too much for them to handle. The guy that everyone is referring as rude is who I've been in contact with. Yes, his tone is pretty straight forward, however I've yet to have a rude experience with him. Every time I called he was sure remind me about my $500 deductible, which I'm familiar with as I pay my insurance premium every month. Now I'm just hoping that the work is exceptional. This company is the worst if I could have given them zero stars I would. My insurance company sent me to this shop for an estimate and once i received the estimate i was told to call for an appointment. The appointment was set for more than three weeks later but i figured they were busy my appointment was set for today the 23rd of November. I was contacted by one of the ladies that works there and on Friday and was informed that i was to bring EITHER my betterment fee of $126 or $500 which is my deductible and they also had received a check from my insurance company for $400 and dollars so I've never paid for repairs in advance so I'm thinking I'll just bring the $126 confirmed with the lady and she said yes i need to bring in $126 in cash i said ok. I get there this morning and the guy was really rude who i guess is the owner he never greeted me but said do you have your $500 today... I said no i have the amount for my betterment that the young lady told me to bring he says your insurance company paid me only $100 that wouldn't be enough for me to pay my guys i said no my company sent you $400 and I'm paying $126 so that would give you $526. He says I'm not making no money. I ask why would the girl i talk to tell me to bring this amount and When i get here this is what I'm dealing with. He tells me ok i can do you a favor and do it for the $126 but are you sure you're going to have your money when it's time to pick up your car because you're having a hard time with have the money now. How am i have a hard time have the money because I'm bring what i was to ld to being I'm. The guys says well you can take your money else where. I feel he was insinuating that i didn't have money to pay for the car when that makes no sense if i didn't have the money why would i bring in a car this is the worst customer service I've experience ever. I just Recently had my car 2016 Malibu repaired through my insurance who suggested JR's Auto Body shop at 14535 S. Halsted Riverdale, IL. 60827 and I had such a HORRIBLE Experience. I had to take the car back 2 times after i originally received it back after the repairs were supposed to be done. the first time i took it back because my Stability track light was on and would not go off, then it had to be towed 2 days later because a bolt for the tie rod broke/came loose leaving me stranded in the middle of the road for Jr's Auto body to tell me I had to have it towed back to them at my cost. After snapping completely out they had my car towed back to there shop. Then a few days later it was picked up for me to find out that there is a disconnected wire hanging out of the front of the car and for them to tell me that they won't deal with me as a customer because my daughter cursed them out for the inconvenience of this all. I dropped my 2017 Nissan Rogue on Tuesday 8/7/18 for bumper damage that occurred when someone hit me in the back. I was called to pick up my car in the afternoon on Wednesday 8/8/18. The person I spoke to asked if it would be possible to pick the car up immediately as they were crowded so I told him sure. I always try to be helpful. When I got to Jr's Auto Body Shop in Riverdale, the obnoxious rude man wanted me to sign the release immediately and leave but I did want to check the work before I did that. The repairs were not perfect and I showed the rude man and he said, "then just leave it hear another day and go; you can pick it up tomorrow". I was in awe by how much of a jerk he was being. I asked my roommate what he wanted to do and he said it was fine. The rude man then told my roommate, "some picky people just want things perfect" and proceeded to role his eyes at me. I almost cussed him out but I am civilized. Needless to say, I would not recommend anyone take their car to Jr's Auto Body Shop in Riverdale for repairs until they give that idiot some lessons on how not to be such a jerk or fire him. read more

I went to pick my car up today 2/19/2019 and after 4 months of them having my car 11/01/2018 I got a call saying I could come pick up my car which was hit from the front so I walk in at close to closing time 4:00 and they closed at 4:30 as soon as I walked in the shop they start telling me to sign paperwork for the repairs so I ask if I can see the car first so they show me work seems to be fine so I won't back in to sign the insurance paperwork release I also had a 500 dollar deductible to pay so I was low on funds having to get back and forth to work catching Uber's at least three times a week and other days paying coworkers to pick me up now mind you this went on for 4 months so I was a little low on funds so I ask the owner if he could work with me as far as the deductible if he can chip off a couple of dollars he got really disrespectful saying that if you don't have the money you can leave the car and that he have works to pay and a family to feed was very rude and as a customer I felt very disrespected I will no longer be doing business with JR any more. read more
