I just picked up my bmw x5 4.4i from Budd Auto Body and I have to say that they did an amazing job on the body work as well as painting. They have done outstanding Auto body work on my other vehicle on as well. I want to personally commend Brian for his extensive knowledge when it comes to Auto body repair. If you are LatinX, I do not recommend going to this shop. The owner immediately started talking about his affinity for Trump when I came in for an estimate . Then they told me they would send the estimate to my insurance but NEVER sent anything. My insurance called me asking where the estimate was for my car since it was over 2 weeks since my appointment (they advised me to choose another shop as estimates should not take that long to complete or send). This shop is a hack job. STOP do not bring your vehicle there. The owner Brian will tell you how awesome their shop is and how they give a lifetime warranty to their work. Well, let me tell you that is furthest from the truth. I brought my car there for repair and all I got was 7 weeks plus without my car and received the shoddiest repair ever. Nothing lines up properly as well my trunk does not open and close properly. So the day I was to pick it up I voiced my concerns and was told that it is too bad that he is not gonna fix any of the items of concern. And he was verbose and rude and stunk like alcohol. I believe he is an alcoholic and has seen his time in business as a path to believing the work done is good. It is not. He does not do good body work at all and his people skills are zero. A couple of weeks ago, someone hit my parked car and it was totaled. I had the car brought there because my brother-in-law recommended him. (I'm new to the area.) Brian, the owner, kept me posted about everything and even told me exactly what to expect with my insurance company. He was friendly and full of information. The car ended up sitting in his place for about two weeks until the insurance company finally picked it up. Brian assured me that it would be a total loss and to go ahead and start looking for a new vehicle. Somehow, I believe that if he hadn't been there to tell me that, I would be waiting and waiting to hear from the insurance company and sitting in limbo. I ended up going there with the rental because I looked at it one day and there was a big hole in the front grill. Brian ordered the new grill, it came in the next day, and he put the thing on in 5 minutes. Even though I didn't have a huge repair job for him to do, I truly believe he would've done it the right way. I'm fairly sure that he is a total perfectionist (because I'm one). My in-laws say so, too. God forbid, something like this would happen to the next car, but if it did, I would definitely go back to Budd. read more

My 2009 Honda CR-V suffered $7k worth of damage over the winter. I went to Budd's as it was a preferred shop by State Farm Insurance. They did an expert job on repairs and were great with communications. I've had the vehicle back a couple months and would highly recommend the shop. Car looks as good as new with no rattles.
