Once we started talking about the new location, i realized it's not going to look clean with just the standard "extension behind the wall". Jorge gave us options and he came back to extend an existing socket to behind the TV for a clean look. We were very happy with the results!

While we had a bit of an issue with the wires being run behind the tv, it was all sorted to my satisfaction and Jorge was gracious and fair when figuring out this problem. After getting quotes from a number of local TV mounting companies - many weren't friendly, had limited availability, and were not fairly priced. Several companies I contacted on Yelp did not have openings for weeks and weren't at all accommodating. When booking, he informed me he would arrive between a two hour timeframe (9am-11am). Upon arriving, he was really friendly, answered any questions I had, and mounted our 65" TV above our fireplace, by himself, in less than an hour! Since he was local as well, that made me feel very comfortable to use his service. I'm glad I did. He installed in less then 30 mins and showed me how to use it. He arrived on time and communicated well.

Jorge was as professional as he gets. I needed help with tv to be mounted on marble wall. He measured, drilled only once, and didn't damage any part of the wall. He left the place as neat and tidy as possible after. And he was very pleasant to converse with. He's a good dude.

George did an excellent job with my 65 inch TV on top of a fireplace. He communicated with me promptly leading until the day. When he came, he was friendly and had a mask on the entire time. He showed me the height and spacing measurements before installing. He also explained all the options for cord concealment clearly. I never felt he was pushing for the more expensive option. JR Mounting is a legit small business. I contacted JRM through Yelp to get a quote on mounting 2 TVs, nothing fancy, just bolt the mounts to the wall and put the TV on them. The quote he gave me beat every other one I received after I polled 6 different businesses. Admittedly, we had agreed on a window between 11:00 and 12:00. He didn't show up until about 12:30, BUT he did call to let me know he would be late and the reason he was late was because an earlier job ran long. You can't fault a small business for scheduling issues. And, as long as they call, no harm no foul. Once he was there, JRM knew his business. I didn't hire he because I don't know how to mount TVs (I've mounted my own TVs at three previous apartments), I hired him because I've grown lazy. He measured everything correctly, triple checked with me to make sure the TV was going where I wanted it, and answered my questions regarding future design plans. Once everything was measured up, the actual installation went without a hitch. I'll definitely be using his services again when I pick up more TVs. read more

Not only did he come first thing in the morning but he went out and got the mount for my soundbar came installed everything very fast and did an excellent job I couldn't be any happier and his prices are very reasonable. I called, was told Monday, and again--crickets. Today, I called again and had an amazing experience because Adrian Brunen picked up the phone. He asked me to send him a photo of the fan and model number. Within 30 minutes, he called me back and we ordered the replacement remote over the phone. Adrian is a stockroom supervisor, but he is so much more than that. He is customer-service oriented, a doer, a fixer, solution-oriented, a critical thinker, and genuinely committed to helping people. He handled everything with grace and professionalism. What impressed me most was that he never once made excuses or mentioned the challenges with the new system, even though I had heard about them during my store visit. My experience with the process may not be something I would give five stars, but Adrian absolutely deserves five stars and recognition. People like Adrian are valuable. He represents what great customer service should look like, and I hope Lamps Plus recognizes his contribution and gives him every opportunity to grow.

When something seems too good to be true, it usually is. I found Jorge through Yelp leads for TV mounting services. When I reached out to book, he responded promptly, and we confirmed the appointment over the phone. I sent him my address via text for final confirmation, and though I wanted my TV mounted quickly, his first available slot was on Tuesday, a few days away. Despite the wait, I remained optimistic as he appeared promising and confident. A day before the scheduled appointment, I messaged Jorge several times but received no response. Concerned, I tried calling both the number I had texted with and the one listed on Yelp. Eventually, he answered the Yelp number and explained that there was an issue with his phone, but assured me that he had received my messages and confirmed the appointment for 8 AM the following day. However, when the next morning arrived, Jorge was a complete NO SHOW. There was NO TEXT, NO CALL, NOTHING! I was livid. Disappointingly, he didn't reach out or apologize for missing the appointment even till this day, which is Wednesday. Interestingly (and sadly not surprising), I found that he had received a few reviews on Yelp from other customers who had experienced the same no-show situation. It seemed like this was a pattern for him whenever it suited his convenience. While I understand that unexpected things can happen, I believe it's essential for a service provider to inform their customers if they can't make it instead of leaving them waiting for hours. Apologizing and showing basic courtesy is not too much to expect. In the end, I am grateful that I didn't proceed with his service because it is evident that his lack of respect for others' time would likely result in a subpar job, and my 85-inch TV might have torn down my walls. read more

Hello future Customer George here with JR Mounting so due to Yelp algorithms it takes off completely legitimate reviews my business currently has 29 5 star reviews and it is only displaying 25. I have gotten in contact with Yelp about this issue but they have not been able to help say it's all in their software and out of their control. This is something that's been an issue for not only my business but many others.
