The 30% off code - LOVETACOS - is good on the entire menu on Taco Tuesdays. The deal & code are advertised on a window poster you'll notice as you walk up in addition to another poster advertising a great lunch deal available. I ordered the Shrimp Tacos (corn tortillas, lettuce, breaded fried shrimp, chipotle mayo, and cilantro) minus pico & they were great. The shrimp were freshly fried and steaming hot. I had to wait a bit because a large catering order was being finished as I arrived. The manager offered me a free Jarritos and apologized profusely for my wait. I took it as a good sign that their tacos are that popular plus it gave me time to enjoy the gorgeous murals by ARTBYJAE. I visited the Baymeadows location (open until 3am Fri/Sat & 1am Sun-Th) & they now have a second location on Parental Home Rd (open until 1am Fri/Sat & 11pm Sun-Th).

My sister placed an order and picked up the order. Since it was taco Tuesday we each got three birria tacos. The meat itself was fairly flavorful and the consome was decent. I appreciated they charred the outside of the tortilla and it was nicely crisped. Since I'm from Southern California, I was expecting some type of hot sauce like all of our taco shops offer, but sadly there was none. I would have loved a little spice, but the tacos were very good with the onions. I was pleasantly surprised they were out of cilantro, which for me makes me happy since I'm not a fan of the stuff. Overall it was a good meal and for Florida, they were pretty decent birria tacos.

We went for dinner on a busy night, and the service was attentive throughout -- impressive given how packed it was. The tacos were delicious, and the whole experience reminded you why a neighborhood spot can become a true local favorite. I pass by regularly on my way to the gym and always notice a full parking lot -- now I completely understand why. The energy is vibrant, the food is genuinely tasty, and it leaves you wanting to come back. A easy yes for Jacksonville Beach dining.

The place is huge with plenty of tables indoor and outdoor. We started with Margarita and Bloody Mary, my husband and I both like our drinks. The tacos were amazing! I got the $10 taco, bangin' shrimp and black & Bleu. Highly recommend the black & blue! I also got to taste my husband's order (we always share!) which were carnitas, brisket and carne asada. All were delicious! We will come back and try their brunch menu next time!

TacoLu - It is nicely designed on the interior. However, the low ceiling makes for a noisy experience when it's busy here.

The atmosphere is definitely part of the whole experience. Right when you walk in, you can smell the fantastic aromas of authentic Mexican food being prepared all day long because you have to know that the food served here is not something that takes five minutes to prepare. Oh yea...I knew this was going to be a great meal and I was going to be rolling out of there stuffed. I pretty much wanted to order everything. The food is fantastic. Like so many other Yelpers, I had to have the birria taco special. It was on the Special's board and I'm always curious about what any restaurant is offering on that particular day if it's recommended in writing. Guess what? I was not disappointed. It really had so much flavor and I would order that one again next time. And don't you skip their elote. It's also legit! Who doesn't love corn on the cob on a stick covered with yummy sauce and Mexican cheese? NOTE: Birria \ bir-ē-ä \is a Mexican dish from the state of Jalisco. The dish is a meat stew or soup traditionally made from goat meat, but occasionally made from beef, lamb, mutton or chicken. The meat is marinated in an adobo made of vinegar, dried chiles, garlic, and herbs and spices before being cooked in a broth. [Wikipedia] I took photos of the menu and my boyfriend and I chowed down on a few other tacos and offerings and everything was delicious. Make sure to get the horchata because it's always nice to have a sweet Mexican horchata with a savory, flavorful meal from La Perla. Buy the other desserts to-go!

I ordered the Wet California burrito with steak, and it was mostly rice and beans with very little steak. The "wet" was just queso poured over the top and onto the plate. Some bites tasted decent, others were inconsistent. The steak that was there was okay. The margarita was also a letdown -- more sour than expected and likely house tequila, with very little ice. Chips were unsalted (which I didn't mind), and the salsa had a bit of a pinch to it. Unfortunately, I woke up the next morning with a bad stomach ache and didn't feel great while eating the food. I probably should have said something to management at the time. Our waitress was friendly, but couldn't really elaborate when we asked about the menu. Overall, I'm paying for great food and service -- not just "okay." I don't see myself returning.

Taco Libre was just 1.5 miles from the hospital so we gave it a shot, and happy we did. Tasty free salsa and warm chips placed on the table. Delicious tacos filled up - they don't skimp on the ingredients. Large cups of Diet Coke - hey, gotta watch my figure! Tacos came in an order of three and I was able to have three different types. Perfect meal for what we were craving. Service was friendly and on-point. Food came out quickly. Terrific Lucha Libre wrestling theme with murals, paintings, and masks adorning the walls. Very colorful and fun decor. Clean bathroom. A few TV's showing soccer games. Outside seating area in front. Taco Tuesday specials. Plenty of food options and drinks on the menu.
