I approached them for two jobs - one was an emergency (hot water leak) and the other was a drainage pipe leak (something that can wait a few days). They gave a quote on the higher side, but since the hot water leak was an emergency, I had to get it done. While fixing it, they pointed out gas leak, and I opted to get that job done too. In order to get the drain pipe leak, I had to make multiple calls to get an estimate appointment. I was given a very expensive quote after they opened up my dry wall. And when I decided not to go ahead with them - they would not patch up the dry wall. Created a mess! And the gas pipe leak that they had fixed, was broken again within 10 days. I called and msged multiple times, but no response to fix the mess they had created. Eventually, I had to hire another contractor to fix the gas pipe lead and pay them too. Please don't work them JPC Rooter & Plumbing - they create a mess, job is extremely sloppy (most probably will break again) and they over charge for the labor! Update: Thanks to yelp I got the attention of the business owner! 1. Comment about cost of gas leak is not accurate. Attached invoice has me paying you $350. And not what you have mentioned - please don't be dishonest! 2. Did you come to back to check for the gas leak fix you did? Even after me calling you multiple times? You did not! So that is my point. We purchased an older home not knowing that the insides of our piping was pretty bad. With a 60 year old home, we found corrosion, rust, and dirt in our galvanized steel pipes (i know.. gross) therefore they needed to be changed. This has been part of our bucket list since we had purchased our home and i had inquired regarding ballpark pricing from a few companies till i was referred over to JPC. Referrals are always a plus for me and since my wife's co-worker had a great experience with JPC, we decided to go through them with re-piping our whole entire house with copper. This was a lot of work which included tearing into the walls to access the piping, demolishing the old corroded pipes and the install of the new copper piping. Prior to having the pipes replumbed, JP went over the process, how long it will take, and what to expect afterward. While the pipes were getting re-done i had also decided to have their crew replace our toilets with newer ones as well while they were here doing the job. When it came to the tear down and re-piping, it was found that some of our house was part copper and part galvanized steel. JP and his crew did not re-use the old copper piping but replaced it with new ones which was a definite plus. The job did take a few days to get done, however if it is done right that was completely okay with me. I took a peek of their work prior to patching our wall the copper piping was very clean, routed nicely, and brackets were applied to secure the piping. No wonder why these guys get five star reviews because they take pride in their work. Overall, very satisfied with these guys work. A few days after the re-pipe, i had them come back and fix a few minor issues however they were quick to fix and did not leave us high and dry. Now, for the yelpers who are looking into re-piping their house, anyone can do a re-piping job but not everyone has the ocd and attention to detail like JPC. I ended up deciding to replace all 3 of my toilettes and was quoted a fair price to install and haul my old toilettes. Service requested - Leak in the water distribution system in the house which includes the radiant heating system. Part 1. Install Shut off valve on one wafer line. Part 2. Seek assistance from a leak detection expert to locate the leak in the copper pipe buried in the concrete slab, remove tiles from the slab, and locate the leaking spot on the pipe embedded in the cement floor; fix the leak in the pipe and refill the cement back in the cement floor. They performed the work with excellent workmanship, and in a timely fashion. As a result, their charges were also very reasonable. They left the place clean. I was trying to install my own bidet this week l, thinking it would be an easy task. The water in my bathroom wouldn't turn off, even after trying some tips from YouTube. I had to call the building management to help turn off the water to install the bidet. I know I'd eventually have to call a plumber to fix the old valves but I just wanted to address the immediate issue. He came and installed the bidet and nothing was leaking. He gave me some suggestions on other fixes I could consider. I made a mental note of things I'd try to fix myself. I left the house to run some errands and came home to at least two inches of water. Rut-roh. Our building manager recommended Paul at JPC, last minute on a Friday night. He was able to come to my place within 3 hours. Paul was great, he saw what was wrong and quickly got to work. He also followed covid procedures and kept his face covered. We asked him to wipe his shoes with antibacterial wipes and he was happy to comply.
