Hey I have a 1935 home with galvanized plumbing pipes. Every couple of months my hot water lines would be clogged with rust and run to a drip. So i decided to replace them for copper lines. I hired C Williams plumbing. They offered me a reasonable price and delivered. I had no idea how much galvanized piping needed replacing. My water quality is far better for drinking and showering. Usama, the lead plumber made sure that every hot water valve was clear of rust before leaving. Under the house, he took photos to show the quality of the work and how it had been done. We hired C Williams Plumbing to repipe the whole house water pipe I told Usama: 1. we would use the other company who will repipe the whole house and will include closing, patching up the openings and repainting the dry wall. Usama said "I can do that too". He gave me the additional fees for the closing and repatching of walls and I trusted him. It was a big mistake. 2. He had also mentioned before giving the estimate that he could also do the mitigation/restoration of the laundry room. THANK GOD we did not let him do that part. Instead we let the reputable restoration company sent from the insurance company do the cleaning and removing of the mold. 3. We hired Usama with C Williams Plumbing because he had told us he could get the repiping done in one day. Because we had to go out of town soon, we agreed to hire C Williams Plumbing. 4. The delay was caused by the inferior work by Usama did not abide to his promise that he will cap all the openings of the cut old pipes so the residual water from the cut dripped down to the ceiling then down the wall next to the fire place. 5. In addition the worker left a portion of the connection unsoldered. Water dripped out of the connection for 2 days and 2 nights leaving the floor in the family room soaking wet because the subfloor is made of particle boards. 6. Usama brought the fan to try to fan the wetness. He added the solder to stop the leak from the open connection. He brought a small dehumidifier to try to dry out the area which added to our PG&E costs. 7. We do not know if there is any other area of water leak from the repiping done by Usama's team as the water pressure is lower than before the repiping was done. 8. We do not know if the worker reconnected the recirculation pump correctly as we just got back from vacation and realized that whenever we turn on the hot water faucet the cold water faucet also give out hot water when turned on. We hired Usama because he promise to get the job done before our vacation however the water leak in the family room created by his worker delayed the completion of his assignment. The delay is not caused by the repair of the laundry room because he said the painter could close the openings of the walls without being in the laundry room. Our dilemma is we will have to live with the anxiety that the subfloor is not completely dry and sooner or later it will rot. In addition we do not know where else there is water drippings from the new pipe connections that we cannot see, behind the wall or in the crawl space. We are not confident that Usama will return to fix any mistake his workers made after he gets paid. No, C. Williams Plumbing has not complete his repairs as he claimed. And the delay of the completion of his project was caused by his worker's inferior performance! read more

These guys did a great job. I was trying to get an estimate from another contractor but opened it up to other people to contact me and I'm glad I did. They got in touch with me right away, assured me they could do the job, and were willing to work with me on the time. I tried scheduling it for a day off but on the day of Usama told me they wouldn't be able to make it because their truck had broken down. Not great but these things happen. I said my next day off wasn't for about a week at which time he said they had no problem doing the job while I was at work since it was all outdoor. Which, frankly, was fantastic. We had 70 year old galvanized pipes in our house, and it was time for a complete re-piping. I hired Usama for this, and they did a really great job. The entire thing was done in a single day (though they had to stay until almost 9pm to get everything all finished up.) They replaced all the galvanized pipe (everything from the city supply to all fixtures in the house) with new copper. They also installed new shower fixtures, replacing the old 3 handle style with the more modern setup. They also fixed up my laundry hookup. Before they showed up it was basically a big hole in the wall with hoses sticking out of it. When they were done it was a nice clean box. After they were done, I had an hvac company come in for some unrelated work, and they were impressed with the soldering/piping job that C Williams did. It was nice having independent confirmation from a separate, unbiased plumber that the job was done well!! They don't handle plastering/sheetrock directly, so if they need to put any holes in your walls to access pipes, expect to either roll up your sleeves or pay to have a wall finisher come in. But this isn't a complaint with C Williams; I've found most contractors that are doing electrical or plumbing subcontract this out. Overall, they were a joy to work with. Selected them for 5 jobs which they completed last week: replacement of 3 outdoor hose bibs (one of which required soldering an extension on to the copper pipe feeding it), replacing a bathroom sink Moen valve (an under counter job) and replacing a filtered water faucet (also an under counter job).
