I told them my availability for a consultation and they were able to accommodate with no issues. Jack was the service advisor that came out to meet with me and check the issues that we outlined. He explained the various options that were available to fix the problems and sent an estimate that outlined the various work that they could do as well as combining multiple repairs with the sink and installing a garbage disposal that I wanted replaced. After selecting the scope of work option and letting Jack know his team came out the next day to start working. When his team came out they smelled gas outside of our house and Jack immediately called me. I called PGE and they came out to check the situation and found a gas line had a leak on the side of the house where a tree had been recently removed. Jack and his team (Jack, Jose, Manuel, Hector, and Jose) were quick and professional with all plumbing issues and did fantastic work. They then also sent me an estimate for the repair/replacement of the gas line which they also repaired. The communication, professionalism, and quality of work that Monarch Plumbing, Jack and his team gave were all absolutely top notch-5 stars. "They will call you back today", "They are at lunch", "You are scheduled for them to come a week from today!", "We'll be there Wednesday!", nope all lies. Really disappointing as we are club members and have replaced our windows with them, installed a brand new AC/Heating system, Electrical work, etc. Can't imagine using them going forward with this huge of a disruption to our house. On the first visit, the technician, Mohammed, didn't even inspect the system. He simply told us that older units are noisy and that our only options were to live with it or replace the entire system. Because the problem continued, our home warranty company scheduled a second visit. I specifically requested a different technician, but they sent the same person back. I tried calling their supervisor to come out or send someone else but they kept dodging my call. When I answered the door and explained the issue was still happening, he just shrugged his shoulders. I had to insist that he actually go into the attic and inspect the unit this time. After a short time, he came back down and said he had "tried everything" but never explained what he checked or what the actual problem was. Again, I was told the only options were to replace the system or live with the noise. I also never received any written work order explaining the diagnosis or repairs that were supposedly attempted. Not feeling confident, I hired another HVAC company for a second opinion. Within minutes, they diagnosed the real problem as a failing blower motor, explained everything clearly, and gave me the option to replace the motor instead of the entire HVAC system. The repair was completed that same week, and the vibration was completely resolved. I understand a 21-year-old system won't last forever, but every homeowner deserves a thorough inspection, a clear explanation of the issue, and repair options when they're available. Unfortunately, that wasn't the experience I had with Same Day Air.

He found (what he thought at the time) was the issue, got the parts, and repaired it in 4 hours. We thought everything was good and paid $375 for the repair. We ran the washer later that night and found there was still an issue. We reached back out and he said he'd come back the next day after his other jobs. Communication started lagging here. He initially told us he'd come between 4-6, but didn't say anything til 6:30. Came ~7pm and worked on the washer again. About 1.5 hours later, found another issue and said he'd come back Monday. On Monday, I reached back out and he wasn't super responsive. Heard back that he was at the store getting the part and that's the last we heard from him. We've reached out several times via text, Yelp, and phone call. We've left multiple messages and he's completely ghosted us. I should've done more digging into his past bad reviews, because this is consistent with those. I recommend finding someone else. It's not worth the chance of not getting your appliance fixed AND being out money. We could've just bought a new washer at this point.

I have tried calling and reaching out to them over messages, the phone number listed is always switched off and they never reply back. The last thing as a customer you would want is pay these guys and wait for a part and they vanish completely. It's been over 3 weeks and I still have no communication from them. Very unprofessional. Would proceed with a diff service technician at this point as the job could be easily done in 3-4 days turn around time. Sorry ! Update 2: Based on the review feedback from Mark, if there is any delay in parts order, I think it is basic sense to inform the Home warranty company (who gave the service technician vendor the job) as well as the customer with a more accurate timeline. During the time of charging the service fee for diagnostics, it was mentioned the part should be delivered in less than a week. If this was completely off, an immediate timely update would be appreciated. Last, I am not sure how a business runs when they are not reachable on the phone ever, nor any correspondence through messages. Sorry! That's not at all an average customer experience, let aside a good experience.

5 stars We are the loyal customers of C. Williams Plumbing. We recommend a young man, USAMA, is his name. There is something wrong with our Water Heater, the Pilot Light and we called this Plumbing Service. USAMA came over to check the Pilot Light. He checked not only the Pilot Light but the other parts of our Water Heater. To our astonishment , he explained that whatever minor repairs to be done on our Water Heater, it will not last long till it will be totally unserviceable after years of service, The Water Heater needs to be replaced or it might cause us more trouble. He advised us to install a new Water Heater and that he came to the rescue and @8:30 pm of March 23, he installed a new Water Heater. We are both Seniors and my husband has 3 kinds of cancer. Due our age and conditions, USAMA helped us to have warm water in our Mobile home after so many days of sacrifice w/o warm water - to bathe, cook, drink, etc. Thanks for his compassion to elders and understanding our plight. FIVE ARE NOT ENOUGH STARS I had two plumbers flake on me and a third with a quote three times the first. I called C Williams Plumbing for a quote. They were at my house within two hours. The main line to my house from the meter needed to be replaced. They gave a truly competitive quote. I wanted it done the next day as they were there in the afternoon. They said they could be there tomorrow, they could do it right away. It would require working into the early evening. They went out to get the parts and put everything that evening. Usama arrived on within the quoted time frame. He fixed a leaky sink and runny toilet a few months back. I havent had any leaking issues since. My washing machine was backing up and overflowing recently so I called Usama again and he was able to come by and fix it. I thought it would end up being a major job but when he came out and looked at my problem he said all I needed was to clean my drain pipe. He had something he called a Jet cleaning thingy with some crazy psi numbers and a snake... turns out I had years of sludge and coffee grinds clogging my pipes. The tenants employees and customers were forced to step over a 8"x18"x300' open trench. To this day, he won't send me his insurance policies. He started working around beginning of March, left open trench 7-10 days. So much more to the story, but my fatherin-law is 94yrs old. Sent Mohammed a check for $30,000 for a $21,840 job. Have a attorney chasing him for a refund. He's a liar and poor quality workmanship. Hard to believe ppl like this are in business. It's elder abuse. Hey Mohammed, send Jim a refund check. I got a 2 way clean out install from him. His quote was competitive. He responses fast. He also followed up on my small concerns a month after the work was done, he takes responsibility in his work and word! I would go to him for future plumbing work. Tyler the phone number on the website is dead (I tried) and the email address that I used to use…read moreall the time to schedule service with Plumbing the Bay goes unanswered, AND even the customer service rep at Albert Nahman said last week that they bought out PtB, so that is where I base my info from. The only thing that works is the phone number on the yelp page which goes to Albert Nahman plumbing. It's very confusing for a customer who had brand recognition with PtB for years.

My Kenmore water heater stopped working. I asked Plumbing the Bay if they had parts for a Kenmore…read morewater heater but they would not tell me. They said a serviceman would have to come out to give me an estimate. When they came out, they said that they can't fix Kenmores, they can only replace them. If I was told upfront that they couldn't fix a Kenmore water heater, I would never have set up the appointment. So now I am out $79 for a useless service call. Even worse, they quoted a price of over $4000 to install a new water heater, which I believe is twice what it should cost. I asked that they refund the $79 service charge, but I haven't heard back. The required part was under warranty, so it only cost me less than $300 to have it repaired.
