    Gnocchi!
    Pearl L.

I am so glad that Joysticks is around and serves amazing snacks and food that can be made gluten free and are labeled clearly so. I have ordered the gnocchi, Hawaiian sliders (limited) and mac and cheese bites and each one packed my tasted with outstanding flavors. The portions may seem small but size is not a factor when you are looking for filling and delicious meal inside the mall. The inside is very spacious with plenty of seats and chairs/booths to accommodate solo or group dining. It is connect to Unlock the Con so the décor has lots of different artwork of different characters or locations from several different mediums. The lighting in here is the perfect amount of brightness to take great foodie pictures, which is great at the presentation of the food here is adorable and is themed with everything being on a stick. Their Wild Bill's drinks have been absolutely amazing and pairs well with their menu too. The owner and all co-workers that I have had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with have been very pleasant and professional. They are also dog friendly so feel free to have some food or refresh yourself with a drink or dessert while with your furry friend. Highly recommend them and can't wait to come back again to try more of their menu items.

This is such a unique idea for a food truck! Everything is on a stick! Something else unique about this food truck is that it's inside a store in the mall! There is a good selection on the menu. I chose the gnocchi with caprese. The pesto on the gnocchi is tasty but the winner for me was the caprese! It is delicious and I could have a dish of just those! I was lucky enough to be there when it wasn't busy so I was able to chat to the owner. I will be back so I can try more stuff off the menu. I will definitely stop by here when I'm in town!

Love going here! Mostly Gluten free but you wouldn't know by the taste! Perfect for on the go food. I almost always get the chicken and waffles and dip my chips in syrup. For other gluten free peeps out there owner explained dedicated gluten free cooking spaces wears new gloves made me feel super safe. No headache or other issues after. Also it's inside of Unlock the Con, really loved the shop too! Awesome art finds, funkos, etc.

This is SO GREAT to see and I know folks who aren't gluten free won't be disappointed. I had the chicken and waffle sliders and the balance of sweet and savory was fantastic. The owner was incredibly nice and talked me through the safety precautions and most importantly the reason behind offering GF choices, because his wife had so many bad experiences just trying to eat safely. I understand that frustration; I don't even need anything complex but you'd be surprised how many places don't offer safe choices or even care about food allergies! Knowing it's safe to eat there is amazing. The ambiance is fun too, being right inside the unlock the con experience. They accept Apple Pay which is a bonus, and they have canned and bottled drinks, too (soda and water). I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Sorry I didn't get pictures of my food, I was too excited to eat it!

There's ample parking that's paved or across the street on gravel. The food looked amazing in photos, but I wouldn't say it was as good as it looked or sounded in descriptions. It was generally very tasty, but everything felt like it was missing just one ingredient that would make it better. It could be that I'm just more used to ethnic flavors and these were just not quite hitting the mark. For example the stratciatella was good, but if the whipped ricotta was a little more fluffy and there was some extra black pepper or lemon added it would have been perfect. The pork belly was a little dry and not worth the price for just three pieces. The thick cut truffle fries were very good however. We also tried the bucatini and it was nice but still I wanted a little more kick. It has spice but just needs a little something to punch it up. The steak sandwich two of the three of us sharing a meal loved and I'd say was the best thing we ate. The service staff was kind, considerate and gave us time and made sure our drinks were filled. There are still a lot of dishes I'd like to try and since I loved the area, it would be worth coming back again.

We joined the online waitlist at 1:00 PM on a Sunday. While we were seated fairly quickly, we still had to wait in a long line just to speak with the host to check in. The restaurant was completely packed well past 2:00 PM. Unfortunately, the experience went downhill once we sat down. It took forever just to place our order. Our chowder arrived about 10 minutes later, but it tasted like it came straight out of a can, and the accompanying dinner roll was completely flavorless and factory-made. Since we were hungry, we ate it quickly anyway. It took 45 minutes for our entrees--a Country Fried Steak and a California Benedict--to arrive. By 3:00 PM, we were famished, which made it all the more disappointing to discover our food was cold, soggy, and hard. The cubed fries, scrambled eggs, and English muffin tasted like they had been sitting on a counter for 20 minutes before being brought to our table. For a restaurant advertising a "farm-to-table" concept, the eggs, salad, croutons, and muffin felt entirely mass-produced. The service was equally disappointing; our server never returned to refill our water. While the atmosphere is nice and the space is large enough to fit over 100 people, they seemed severely understaffed. The host stand was backed up, it took too long to order, and the kitchen was clearly overwhelmed. For $23 a plate, I expect significantly better quality in both the food and the service.

We understand that the restaurant was busy, so we patiently waited for a table. However, after being seated and placing our order, we waited another 20-30 minutes for our food to arrive. While the food was good, the service was extremely slow. The most frustrating part happened when we ordered an extra pancake for our child. Our server told us to pay for it when we were leaving, which sounded fine. After waiting another 20-30 minutes, we went to the cashier only to be told that we should have ordered it at the front counter. If that had been explained to us earlier, we could have done so right away and avoided wasting more time. The food was enjoyable, but the poor communication and slow service left us disappointed. Sadly, this is the second time we've had the same experience.
