Guy making egg rolls

Average American Chinese food we got egg foo young, which was kind of dry maybe overcooked and some Singapore rice noodles. A flavor was good, but I'm not so great. The booth was falling apart, and the table felt sticky

Yumm..Mu Shu Chicken ,General Taos Chicken and Fried Rice ...A suggestion to the Owners.....Perhaps play some music and add a Fan

Looooove this place....we haven't been here for a while..it's still the best Choice for Chinese food ANYWHERE in Kitsap

We ordered takeout. It was easy to order online. The food was ready early. The pickup and payment went well. Slight irritation with the default tipping choices. The on-site dining room is bright and clean. We ordered pan fried dumplings 3/5 (more like deep fried, filling is good), Singapore noodles 4/5 (needed more spice), and sesame chicken 4/5 (some pieces were quite good and others overcooked).

I've been eating at the Joy Luck Restaurant for many years through several changes of hands of owners. These guys have had it for a couple of years and they're doing a good job. It's not a fancy restaurant by any means. Actually would probably be something on the par of a hole in the wall to some degree. But, the menu is fairly extensive in terms of anyone could find something on the menu to like. Most of the time the food is good. Not great but not bad. For a town this size it will do. When it is good it's very good. What makes it special is the fact that they have an individual there who takes pride in his restaurant. His customer service skills are amazing. He continues to deliver the curbside food making it very convenient for people like me. And he always answers my questions and works to get my orders to my specifications. I like their wonton soup, Singapore rice noodles, and the Mu Shu dishes.

Singapore Noods

Thebomb.com. Absolutely phenomenal and everything I look for in a Mandarin style restaurant. I felt like a kid again having my first bite of something something wasn't meatloaf or spaghetti. And even though I've had thousands of noodle dishes over the years this was what I've been looking for the whole time. We got the House Chow Mein and the Singapore Noods. The Chow Mein has beef, chicken, and shrimp. No stupid vegetables to ruin my entire day. Maybe some cabbage or something but nothing intrusive. The Singapore Noods were flavorful with massive chunks of chicken. Mildly spicy and stuffed with capsicum. No one's perfect. I don't live anywhere near Kingston but will make trips here to eat.

Everything is great. Best General Tso's chicken that I have ever had. Check out sesame beef, lemon chicken, and the salt and pepper squid.

We came here on a lark, being a little over a mile away after morning appointment. We read the…read morereviews, Chinese food sounded good, so we came by. We were not disappointed. Definitely a no frills place, but it's family run and the food is good. We arrived around 12:45 on a Sunday, at the end of the lunch rush wave. Worked out really well: our server Frank sat us right away, we ordered, and were eating our first dishes within minutes. Perfect! Because we were starving! I had a hankering for pork bao, which I hadn't had in a long time. They were decent. My girlfriend is vegetarian, so all other dishes were vegetarian: dry-fried string beans, general Tso's tofu, and hot and sour food. More than enough for the two of us, and very good and satisfying. Note: General Tso's is usually made with chicken and we asked if it could be made with tofu instead. They had no problem with the request. Portions are ginormous, so bring your appetite!

Given that this is called xiaolongbao house, we should have tried the soup dumplings, but since there were two of us, we got the stir fried green beans and spicy boiled fish (shuijiuyu) as well as some white rice. The spicy boiled fish was DELICIOUS: so spicy, flavorful, with generous portions. The green beans had good flavor but I wish they were crispier. We had a ton of leftovers. We will definitely be back for the other menu items.
