    Beef hotpot
    Shashu B.

The skewers are fantastic. Hot pot was also excellent although I didn't think the beef added much so I would probably get the vegetable next time. Skewers we're cooked and seasoned perfectly, and the hotpot broth was delicious and spicy and the glass noodles and cabbage were the best part. Great spot in HMart

Flavor was ok but very dry and extremely skimpy for the price you pay, Maine if they gave you 4-5 but for 3 skinny ass sticks, no thanks

If you're in the mood for a quick food court bite this place has great skewers. Noodles are decent as well if you can handle the spice!

This is a nice antidote to what way TOO MANY "Asian" restaurants are like in the greater Boston…read morearea: slick, prettified and exoticized decor, inflated pricing and mediocre, bland and generally dumbed-down tourist food. This place is none of those things---the interior is simple and dare I say, well worn. But that's the whole point, you feel like you're in an authentic immigrant family restaurant, which it appears to be---a very very sweet and kind lady seems to be the only server in this place (we went on a weeknight, so maybe on a Friday/Sat/Sun it's more crowded and there are more staff) and her husband mans the cash register by the door. Old school! Food is solid and authentic, and refreshingly gimmick-free. What you see is what you get. Shockingly, the prices are about the same as in the Korean places in the food court at H-Mart down the road in Burlington...but you get more and better quality food! And they don't appear to have an alcohol license, which is kind of a good thing because they don't try to upsell you with their drink menu, which in Asian restaurants tend to be pretty lousy mass-market water-beers (sometimes just with Asian labels on similar swill) at craft-beer prices anyhow. Bimbibap was quite unique: rice was served on a separate bowl, while the actual main bowl was full of veggies and meat and egg. Very nice contrast to most places' bimbibap being 80% rice and 20% veggies/meat. Came with a small side of miso soup. UPDATE, one week later: Came back to try out the Korean BBQ. For 3 people, we ordered 3 of the BBQ menu items, came out to a reasonable $100 or so before tip since we just had the complimentary toasted brown rice tea (hyeonmi-cha) and ice water. It was just the right amount of food for an evening meal (more voractious eaters would probably want an additional 1-2 dishes) and the lady came to our table to cook the food for us, ensuring that nothing would be overcooked. The short rib was easily the best, followed by the bulgogi, and the squid with pork belly and veggies was pretty good not great (it was interestingly cooked over the open flame on a square of aluminum foil). Everything was perfectly marinated, tender and juicy. Ventilation was good, so our clothes did not reek of roasted meat afterwards---some places have weak fans, this one did not. Service was again impeccable, gracious and speedy...very nice warm vibes, not cold or perfunctory like some places. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Got the short rib, bulgogi, black pepper beef, and some non bbq entrees like the noodles and bibimbap. The vibe is like an old school BBQ/asian restaurant, and I immediately felt comfortable and could feel the authenticity. I will definitely be back (getting hungry thinking about it haha)!

Even when it's busy though (which is almost every time we go - but it is lively and has a good atmosphere), our service is solid, they are quick to take our orders, clear plates, bring food out, and refill water! The food we ordered was fresh, hot, and delicious! Only gripe is that the portions aren't the largest for the price (definitely priced a bit higher than comparable asian restaurants I've been to), but if you're craving authentic food and are in the area, this is the spot!

I've heard different opinions so I wanted to try for myself. I am Greek so I know what the food is like. This a fast food for Greek cuisine. And an emphasis on fast as it's not authentic at all. You pick your meat, either in a wrap or plate. Then you pick a sauce and with the bowl you choose a side. I chose the chicken gyro , which comes with onions and tomatoes with spicy feta sauce and zucchini chips that comes with tzatziki sauce. Where do I start. Where was the chicken? It was cut very small, very thin, the worst chicken gyro I've had. And I've been to many restaurants where the chicken is real. This was so thin, they say it's a mixture of chicken breast and thighs. I think it was mostly thighs. The onions were small, only the tomatoes were decent. What a disappointment! The zucchini chips were not bad but I had to go up because they forgot the best part, the tzatziki sauce. The spicy feta wasn't bad either. Well this is fast food at best and just know the real Greek restaurants give you real chicken that is tender and tasty. I glad I am but can see it's not the best. Not sure how the lamb would be, or the beef. Not in a hurry to find out either.

High-effort, well-executed and conceived takes on middle eastern and American food - lamb over rice, falafel, burgers, hot chicken sandwiches, hummus. Chicken is their strongest suit, in my estimation. They do amazing chicken tenders and chicken wings, paired with a tasty sauce and breaded for a really killer crunch. I love em. Same goes for their chicken burgers, chicken over rice combos, and chicken wraps. Lamb here is great, as is the falafel. I haven't had a bad meal with either. I tried their hummus on a recent trip and thought it was good. Nothing mind-blowing but better than the average. Also want to call out their waffle fries and onion rings, which are perfectly done. I love em to death. Whatever my main is, my side will typically be either the chicken tends or the waffle fries. For the negatives, their non-burger beef offerings suffer from the beef having lots of chewy bits in them. For example, their steak and cheese should be a sure thing, but every bite had a bit chewy bit I had to stop eating to pull out. They also overdo it on the mayo/sauce for that sandwich. So yeah, avoid their steak bomb and steak and cheese. I haven't tried their milkshakes but I am very sure they do a great job. Halal Eatz is one of those places you can usually trust to do a new item very well.

Went back a second time a few days later for a double classic cheeseburger and another cookies n cream milkshake. The restaurant is small but has a few dining tables and clean. The free hot tea is a nice touch! Halal Eats is located just a few miles from the Burlington Mall and is well worth the short drive!

You don't have a designated server so getting the attention from a random server was challenging. Drinks ordered were a draft beer, gin n tonic and a coke, took 15 minutes plus and had to find a manager to ask again for them. They did not have all the meats that are listed when they come around which I couldn't comprehend because this to me was supposed to be a fun celebration. How can you not have chicken during the time we were there. The staff was pleasant when they came around with the few meat choices. The meats were all extremely over seasoned. Way too much salt. I was hoping the dining experience would've been different. They didn't offer dessert. We got dessert elsewhere. Then the bill comes and they charged for 4 people. There were only 3 of us. Overall, very disappointing. Wish we chose another restaurant to celebrate.
