I've been coming to this mall ever since I was a young toddler, and looking at it now there are…read moremany changes of course with stores coming and going, but a major renovation which took place in 2019. This mall has a modern look to it, which takes away its original look, and to me, I truly enjoyed looking at it. I love looking at original and old structures in malls. The carousel has been taken away, which was a big surprise to see. There are a bunch of retailers that still remain, such as Barnes and Noble, Marshalls, Best Buy, and two Macy's, and a movie theater. Two new retailers to join were Dick's Sporting Goods and Target. Sears closed in late 2018, which had a very long run since the mall's opening. The food court doesn't have a lot to offer when we visited, assuming because of COVID. Hoping that new ones will fill in the spaces. At least Regina's is still there. For restaurants, there are Not Your Average Joe's, Five Guys, Duncan Donuts, Jersey Mike's, and Chipotle. Restrooms are well maintained and an addition to a big modern upgrade, thanks Simon. Take note, on rainy days the Cape Cod Mall can be very crowded.

As I visit the Cape a few times a year, I was pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness and kindness of every employee I came into contact with. The woman who helped me n the Beauty Department (Clarins) was very welcoming and attentive. I was purchasing a gift from for a friend. I was shopping at 1:00 pm on Tuesday the 25th. Unfortunately, I misplaced her business card. I was impressed that she did not to try to sell me products I didn't need at that time. She did give me several samples which I shared with my sister. I did have my service dog with me. The woman working in the fine jewelry department smiled and we spoke for a moment.

Now when it comes to the managers.... I'm speechless worst I've ever seen. The front end manager Mary, is awful. Treats her employees like dirt in front of customers. I honestly wanna report this myself but instead I'm just gonna tell my other friends and business partners to stop shopping at this circus. Story time: My friend's mother had told me she had an incident with an employee where the employee had asked her why she is trying on the shoes without socks. Which in my opinion the employee wasn't totally wrong but the way he went about it was wrong. Now my friend's mother was pissed and asked for the store manager. The manager came and I quote from my friend's mother about the manager, "a joke". From what I was told the manager was apologizing for the man's behavior and that this isn't how the store is represented and she stopped the manager on her tracks right there and added that that was her first time ever in any Nordstrom store. Look I kid you not when my friends mother told me the manager gasped like she saw the end of the world and sat her down telling how sorry she was for experience and will get a discount on her purchase. Look the damage was already done and when I was told about this I was shocked that this so called High-end off price store was operated this way. I've gotten this Managers name and it is supposedly Lori not sure though since I've seen many other managers at this store. Bottom Line I've heard a lot about this specific store from friends and others who I don't wanna expose when it comes to the management and HR department. If you're a regular shopper here I hope you get as much as you can because I don't see this store lasting any longer. I have friends and family who will never give a cent to this specific store anymore and I think you guys shouldn't either. Most of the junk in there is awful anyways. This is the little Target that couldn't…read more Let's start with size... I have no idea where the other reviewer who said this is a good size Target is from, but he must be from Maine or Vermont. This Target is less than half the size of a "real" Target found in most states. Next up is the lack of stock. The shelves at this location remind me of Old Mother Hubbard's cupboard because they're always bare. On my most recent visit I found the shoe area completely destroyed. All the shelves in this section were completely barren & there were huge heaps of loose shoes on the floor. The same thing in the intimates section. In the cosmetics section I was looking for a very common lipstick color & brand. Not only were they completely sold out of ALL lipstick in this brand, all of the other brands were sold out too. It looked like the day after Black Friday, but in May. Same in the toy section. Toys were strewn all over the floor & several boxes had been opened to "liberate" pieces inside. I could go on, but you get the picture. I walked into the store instantly I am greeted by a nice lady, She is the manager is super sweet and very polite, professional, understanding, and kind. She instantly fitted me considering I had no clue what size i'd be and then guided me to a suit that she thought would match my description and size. When she picked it out it fit perfectly and then she helped pick out a extremely nice dress shirt and pants. Now I know in the photo I have nike dunks on but don't worry I will wear something more professional for homecoming lol. I would 100% go back here and I recommend going here despite the negative reviews because they were years ago and now they are amazing. To the manager that fitted me you were amazing and thank you for getting me to look fly for homecoming!!

I bought suit separates, and they didn't have my trouser size so he ordered it online, which gave me a huge discount on all items. When I couldn't find a shirt that fit (18 1/2, 36-37) he found a nice one on clearance. Trousers arrived in great shape in 4-5 days. (I didn't need them right away). Good experience; recommended.
