The customer service I received was awesome. I was greeted when I first walked in and asked to let the lady know if I was l was looking for something specific. I was allowed to look around, then Rickey and Andrew, the names on the name-tags, told me about the sales and the bundle deals. While trying on a pair of shoes the lady offered to order me a half size if I needed it, if they didn't have it in the back. I went in for a couple of packs of tennis shoe socks. The employees will either not acknowledge your existence or hover over you. On Black Friday I was looking for Uggs and was blocked in by three employees. There were other people standing around in the store but it made me very uncomfortable. Please train your employees right. read more

The store manager was the most kind person ever, she helped me with exchanging a pair of shoes that I ordered. I was sent shoes with two different sizes. All of the managers were there and were helpful, She took them in no questions asked, it was very fast, she knew what she was doing. Yesterday my friend and I walked in yesterday with the intend of buying something since she wanted shoes for her Birthday and the only employee there looked like he was on FaceTime with someone and that he didn't even want to be there. He just looked at us and went back to what he was doing, and he seemed to have an attitude, overall he was just rude as hell. He didn't even acknowledge us at all when we walked in or ask if we needed any help so we just left. Extremely poor customer service. In store experience is not good at all. Zero sense of urgency or care from staff members. They didn't have my size Converse so we ordered them and when I called to tell them they sent the wrong shoe I received no apology or explanation they just said "yea we do that all the time" I mean I know it's not a some high end shoe store but SOME form of service would be appreciated. The staff at this location did above and beyond!!!! Super polite and helpful!! I hd gone to 4 other shoe stored before coming here. My daughter is 9 but wears women's size shoes and still doesn't want to learn to tie her shoes. These girls went out if their way to not only help me find shoes for my daughter but try and teach her how to tie her shoes. I wish i could have gotten their names. I have not ran into any problems in this Journeys, unlike the Concord one. I returned my Birkenstock sandals, and I was scared they weren't going to take them back because, after wearing them a day, part of the logo rubbed off. And also I tried cleaning the shoe which left the cork having discoloration from the water. But anywho, I went there and she looked a little hesitant to return it, but she didn't say anything and she was able to exchange my size. As for my cousin, she went another day. She wanted to return DM shoes which she wore a couple times already, but she noticed a white mark that she did not do. So she was really anxious if they would return it for her or not. The guy who was helping her looked at the shoes and asked if she wore it and all that questioning. My cousin explained that there was a white mark and she didn't do it. The guy was really nice and said he'll hook her up and just return it. He gave really good customer service. They both did. read more

I went in on Monday 2/3/20 at around 11AM, the girl that was working there was VERY inattentive. She lacks customer service skills (I work in hospitality, so I would know), why do I say this? Because when I walked in, no greet, no "can I help you", NOTHING. I went up to the register to let her know I wanted to exchange some shoes I got for Christmas, she misinformed me (of course) that all sandals were $100 and up. WRONG! Very inattentive staff. There were about 3 staff members but no one wanted to help me when I wanted a size. I even went up to one who was apparently spacing out like she was hearing voices. I thought she might have been crazy so I went to the two at the front desk. They were spaced out too until a lady behind me looked like she was about to charge one of them. I bought my converse all stars from an all star staff, lead by store manager Shonté. I was in on a weekend and it was semi crowded. Both ladies that worked there were more pleasant and helpful, bringing me as many shoes as I wanted. The even applied my phone coupon without any trouble. When I had an issue with the shoe I called the store and Shonté answered the phone. She listened to my issue and offered me a solution and a good time to come into the store. When I came into the store they didn't have the same shoe I wanted so she offered to order it for me. She also said "feel free to look around and take as much time as you need." She was warm and welcoming and genuine. I did end up taking about half an hour and never felt rushed. She answered my questions and gave her opinion about sizing. She gave me five star service and is an asset to the company. She set an amazing example as the other workers were also very genuinely helpful and cool. I highly recommend this particular journeys. They also have quite a selection of shoes. I left happy, amazed and appreciative of the quality of customer service I was provided. read more

I'm with everyone else here, if I could leave 0 stars, I would. The LACK of customer service at this establishment is laughable at best. When it comes to sales, they are sweeter than pie.. But the minute you need to return something, suddenly customers are public enemy number one. I went in there this evening to do a return that was given to me as a gift from my brother who lives in Texas. I visited him and when I was there, I hadn't tried the shoes on and assumed they were the same fit as the ones I had purchased. Unfortunately, that was not the case. So armed with the receipt (which the policy states) and the box (which the policy states), I brought the shoes back. When I explained the situation, immediately one of the gentleman (who introduced himself as the district manager named Chris) stated "I hate to tell you this but you need the card it was purchased with"... Well obviously I don't have the card, but it was purchased with a debit card... Which is same as cash (I work retail too and have also used my debit card MANY places where this is the case). Then the manager (Tez) who was amazing when I went in a few weeks back to buy shoes for my daughter said "well he's my district manager so he knows best." I immediately left the store and called customer service. I got a resolution of being able to send the shoes back and they asked me if I was even offered store credit. The store didn't even try to help or process the return. Customer service asked that I get their names and when I went back in to ask, after Tez told me to have a nice day, I replied "I will now that customer service gave me a solution.. Thanks for referring me to call... Oh wait, you didn't". Then one of the young girls that worked there laughed... ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Never again will I return to this location... NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! NOT COSTUMER SERVICE ORIENTED! If I could leave zero stars, I would. As a return customer, buying shoes for my two daughters, I will not be back to Journeys after the treatment given by the little girls that were there Sunday, February 7th, 2016 after 3:pm. As well as the manager Tez, whom talk to us over the phone. We came in to exchange a shoe that my daughter worn for approximately 3 days. Even though we had a receipt for the shoes, we told we could not exchange them, because we no longer had the box that went with the shoe. We were met with attitude when we told all the girls behind the counter, that we were not going to accept that, due to the fact that the store gave us a shoe that was defective. And we have a valid receipt! One shoe came apart, where the laces thread through. We were quoted store policy. I told them, that we need to speak to a manager. But they were apparently off on this day. One of the girls called a manager, that was off site, and apparently store policy was the name of the game. Not costumer service. Just to explain our position, we do not want a shoe that breaks after 3 days of wear. Store policy should not be thrown into a customers face, with attitude I may add, like we are doing something wrong! For an exchange, whether or not the box is included... A receipt should be sufficient enough to do the exchange. I could see if we were, on the regular, returning items bought, but we are not. And have not been. So, to be treated as if we were doing something wrong by wanting to exchange a shoe we bought. Should not be an issue, with a receipt! The last purchase: how we took matters into our own hands... We bought the same pair of shoes, from the store, on this day. For the sole purpose of leaving the store, exchanging the shoes out. Putting the defected pair into the new box. Then returning the defected shoe, for a refund. Out witted the "We need the box policy" crap. Got the new shoe for my daughter. I don't know... But if I were management, I probably would had wanted to satisfy my return customers. Probably would had gave the new shoe, kept that box for the return of the exact same shoe. If that's the "policy", then called it a day! But now you have a pist off customer, that will now go to corporate with all this. In closing, for this review... Guess what ya'll?!? There are other stores that sale Converse shoes, as well as the other brand names that they at Journeys carries. I will put my buying efforts into those business's that would have exchanged a defective shoe for their customer, especially if they have a receipt. Oh, and I'm also going to contact your corporate office to file a complaint about how we were treated, trying to satisfy our return efforts. read more

My kids and I came into the store looking for shoes for the summer, and as we were about to ask for help a guy worker was vaping in the register area and blowing the smoke in the other worker's face.
