I spent about 45 minutes walking around this location the other day and I have to say it definitely has that dying mall feel... gray lighting, empty storefronts, and not a lot of customers. There were more than a few spots but seemed empty and underutilized and there is definitely room for improvement. It's a decent size and I know it's been around for a long time. It also seemed pretty clean and fairly well organized. There are plenty of stores and I probably checked out at least a half a dozen but didn't really find anything that I was looking for. If you needed something specific and the store was in this mall, I could definitely see people coming here regularly to grab what they need but it's just not a place I would come often to just walk around and shop. It's fine for what it is, but I do hope that they put some effort into revitalization because this could be a great shopping mall again. read more

I like this mall because it has a free indoor playground for kids. Plenty of establishments, food area, cinema, and not crowded unless its a weekend or special occasion. read more

Unfortunately, there's not much to offer in this mall. The highlight for me was H&M and Chey'las Soul Food. There were a lot of accessory/jewelry, tennis shoe and eateries. There is a Macy and JCPenney department stores but overall the mall is lackluster. read more

Is mall culture dead?? No one was here it made me depressed. I tried wetzel pretzel in order to expand my pretzel consumption (it wasn't that good). They should get rid of all wetz locations idk who is keeping these places in business. I miss mall culture man. Truthfully I never truly experienced it but I can imagine what was it like back in the day. read more

Its a cool mall, typical stores and a whole lot of jewelry stores. Nothing extraordinarily about it.

W mall. A little to sanatized and clean than a mall should be more fun imo but overall it was fine.

There's not that many traditional malls around anymore so we decided to do some Christmas shopping here just to see and was impressed. I am almost afraid to post this because I don't want other people to discover this hidden gem. They have a wide array of typical stores (clothes, toys, specialty, etc.) They also have a selectiion of eateries. But what I was impressed by was the facility and atmosphere. Everything was clean and decorated for the holidays. Parking was plentiful. Traffic flow throughout the mall was easy and pleasant. Growing up in the 80s in SoCal at the height of 'mall' culture, I had forgot how nice a good mall experience could be. It wasn't overcrowded but had a nice busy atmosphere. My daughter (who is Gen Z and has no idea what I mean by mall culture) even said we should do all our ahopping here. It's not local for us but for special shopping trips, this would be worth it for us. read more

This mall continues to have such a bad reputation. With the smash and grabs, people being targeted for theft, youth riding their bikes indoors, stores closing...it's no wonder online is thriving. I used to come to this mall at anytime of the day. Now I never come during night hours and never alone. The Macys definitely need some improvement with their selections in the men's department. There are only a few stores I'd even consider shopping at. The food court continues to keep busy, Security is nonexistent and for such a sad mall thank goodness the stores with employees continue to be pleasant. read more

Our shopping center has gotten worse. Smash and grabs. And all the stores are closing down. We lost our valuable stores. Now there are overpriced stores. read more

This mall was very clean! The bathrooms were spotless. The stores inside of the mall were a lot of fun for a date. There is so much to do here and it is easy to spend hours here without realizing how much time has passed. We went during Halloween and most stores were participating in a mall-wide trick or treat for the littles. It was such a friendly and fun environment. read more

This is Solano county's only mall and I'm sorry to say it's failing. So many stores are closed but today my beef is that for over a month the escalator AND elevator near the JC Penny's side are both out of order. I'm disabled so it is a problem for me. read more

This mall is OK. A lot of stores inside our closing. So you have to make sure you know what is open before you get here. The food court has a limited selection. And especially on the weekends it is very busy. Most of the time it is also hot in here as well even when you're walking between the stores. read more

Positives: also known as Solano Mall, this place has a big theater where it was surprisingly NOT crowded on a Friday before the 6pm Shazam debut...probably because it was only about 3 days before the Apr 15 tax filing deadline. Theater - good service, you can choose your own seats, and the restrooms there are even better than the mall restrooms where they had no paper towels but only hand driers. There is a merry go round on the 1st floor of the mall and a food court on the 2nd floor - WOW. A lot of other interesting stores like Ulta Beauty. Plenty of parking in the massive parking lot. There is also a Buffalo Wild Wings here which has excellent bone wings (even better than the boneless type). This is a great medium-sized enclosed mall, probably one of my favorite in the north bay....it's even close by the 80 highway! Negatives: none. read more

I was looking for a white dress shoes I looked at all factory outlets in Vacaville and couldn't find any. Went to urban wear store in Solano Town Center in Fairfield they had several beautiful selection. The owner was very nice helpful and friendly, she helped me a lot specially when she found I need that shoe for my son's wedding. Prices are very reasonable, customer service excellent. You can find clothing for any occasion. I became permanent customer for them. read more

Very loud annoying and irritating mall music. You cannot concentrate. Many customers leave the mall because of extra high level of noise.

Our favorite mall to visit when we're in the Bay Area. All our favorite stores and a good selection of food choices in the food court. We really love and appreciate the "Family Lounge" Bathroom Area. It helps so much with the little ones and dad being able to help. Very clean and well kept. Highly recommend this mall especially if you have young children. Fun race car strollers you can rent for not too much money. A play area and of course the family lounge I mentioned above. Over all a very nice and clean mall that's lots of fun for the whole family! read more

I've been in Fairfield for 14 years now so I've seen the mall change quite a bit. I actually prefer this mall over others such as Arden fair. The shopping I feel is more affordable. And there is such a variety of stores from women's to kids, etc. I really have nothing to complain about this mall! The mall is always clean and the environment is chill. There is a lot of teenagers but isn't every mall like that? That's another conversation in itself (the mall is not a babysitter)! Anyways, They have all of the name brand stores, lots of parking,a movie theater and a nice food court! The bathrooms are always clean. They have a adorable little place called "hop n play" for children under the age of I would say 5 or 6. read more

I would strongly encourage you to google "murder at Solano Mall" and "assaults at Solano Mall". It is not worth risking your life to shop at this mall. We have MANY other malls in the Bay Area. Go visit one of them. We just had another family attacked here yesterday. A woman was murdered here several years ago. I personally tried to get security to watch me walk out once and they refused. I have not been back since. Found a new nail shop, new massage shop and new clothing shops outside of the mall. You should too. read more

I just came to walk around a bit while waiting for hubby who had an appointment close by. I've grown up coming here most of my life and was feeling nostalgic and seeing a handful of stores that were still there from the past. I was being followed by I believe was security who was wearing a yellow shirt and a walkie-talkie until he noticed I was paying attention to him. I completely understand dressing security down so they aren't as off putting butInstead of just the small emblem on the chest maybe wear a cap that states " security" so people don't feel like some creep is following them. read more

Great fun everyone loves going to the mall I've been going there my whole life well even before when it was only J C Pennies lol

I'm not really familiar with this area too much but my parents have taken me here a few times already. It's not as big as other malls in the Bay Area. I still prefer Stoneridge, Milpitas Great Mall, Valley Fair, Galleria etc. It's a rather small mall. They don't have a Sephora here :( boo... although when I was here over the weekend I saw that they're opening an Ulta store on the second level. My favorite is going to the Quickly's here after shopping. I just wish they had a Jollibee in their foodcourt... read more

I've been shopping here for years now and I've been here in the morning hours, in the afternoon and even late at night after a movie. Like any other mall in America, this place has its share of mall rats and your occasional riff raffs. And based on my experiences I feel that there's no real reason to cause panic or concern in regards to ones safety. This mall is clean, well kept and appeared to be holding up to the challenges of today's economy. There's a Macy's, JC Penney, Sears and a whole lot more. Kudos for having the Play Town Carousel, a Best Buy and Chick-fil-A... read more

I like this mall. It's nearly an identical layout to the Westfield mall in Santa Clarita inside. Sadly they don't have the outdoor shopping plazas here in Fairfield that they did back in Santa Clarita, but one cannot always have it all. Solano Town Center is a good sized, double, decker mall with all the major draw stores (JC Penny, Macy's, Sears), and good variety of smaller shops, a big theatre with an IMAX, and an average food court. It's very bright and clean and easy to get around in. The restrooms throughout the mall are well marked (when you have a little one, as I do, finding the restrooms easily is a MUST), and super tidy: So bonus points for that! As well as everything inside the mall, there is a good selection of shops and restaurants circling the outside. If you are looking to spend a day out shopping and live in the area, it's definitely worth a go. read more

This mall used to be so good and now it's ghetto. You walk in the main entrance at the food court and every single time there's somebody who brought a boombox in there sharing loud music with the entire mall. Security doesn't do anything about it. A bunch of stores in the main area are now vacant. It's going downhill. Find another alternative. read more

This mall is a perfect place to go to for all your basic items that a typical mall would carry. They also have all the usual stores big chain stores, Macy's, JC penny and Sears and the typical apparel stores like F21, H&M, VS/Pink and a newly revamped food court upstairs. Convenient movie theatre and some surrounding retail chain restaurants nearby. Overall the mall interior is pretty dated. This is the closest mall in the north bay so if you don't want to drive the extra miles to a better mall then this would be the place to go to. Last time I went here they will be opening an ULTA store so that's a plus for make up lovers. read more

Love this mall! Great place to browse when you are bored. Big 5 stars My grandkids love it here

Food: They have a new-ish food court that has at least 7 fast food type places to choose from. There's also the random mall food areas scattered around if you only want a snack (I.E: pretzels, vending machines, smoothies, etc.) There's also three restaurants in the mall if you want to sit down from a long day of shopping and eat some dinner/lunch. If nothing in the mall is pleasing there's plenty of other places to choose from that is right across the street from the mall. It is within walking distance even with an arm full of bags. Stores: You have the essentials here at the mall. Victoria's Secret, Forever 21, Wet Seal, Game Stop, etc. It does cater to children and females more~but that's true for most shopping places. The economy hit the mall a bit here and there. Empty locations get filled and closed in a year or so. Overall: This mall gets the job done. read more

I'll be honest, I hate malls, but that's because I really don't like shopping. My SO however loves shopping and this mall has everything she needs: Forever 21, HM, ULTA, JCPenney and Macy's among others. So it is for sure a one stop shop whenever she feels the urge to shop. They do have a fair amount of stores that interest me for example: GameStop, Zumiez, Hot topic. So there are many shops to select from. Not to mention the food court has a good selection and there abundant snacks shops. I think many reviewers are giving it low stars because of the experiences they are having at individual stores, so don't let the low stars scare you off. This is a great mall, clean, good variety, andgoodurity (it's patrolled by Fairfield PD)....And remember this is coming from a guy that hates mall. read more

This mall has really developed as I grew up. I remember really preferring the Sunvalley Mall (same distance from home) because it seemed much more advanced; however, now this mall seems like it's almost caught up. The Solano Town Center (don't even remember using that name for the mall as a kid) has gotten lively, added stores, and lost them, too. But there's still some that are in their same old place which is really great for nostalgia. As far as changes go, the food court has to be one of the biggest changes I've seen happen throughout the years. It turned from nothing into a bustling place to chill or relax while at the mall. It's no SF Westfield mall food court, but it's great for its crowd and the selection great from the typical fast food to the very selective soul food and boba. Taking a walk, more kiosks have popped up, more modern stores are present, and the kids play place has expanded and from the looks of it there's even more places for kids of all ages to go whether it's play structures or an arcade. This is all great, but there's also a bunch of stores that seem like they're duplicates of each other for the exact same niche of customers and that the mall is missing out on putting in more variety. Looking at examples like the SF Westfield or the Sacramento Arden Fair mall, they have a better variety of stores and even stores surrounding the area. But I know that this mall is still developing and that for the time being I can be assured it's going to get better to catch up with mall competition and the incoming waves of more people in the area and that it's much better than it was before. read more

Great location. This center is located right off the freeway and it's a great stop on a long trip. The movie theater has many selections and there is plenty of parking right in front. It's a ghetto mall depending on what hours you decide to go. Ghetto meaning the type of crowd it attracts. Be careful where you park. Ladies, be careful what you WEAR if you don't want to get hit on by questionable males. If I happen to be in the area and need something, I only come here if I don't have any other choice. I usually shop at Macy's, Express, VS, and the new F21. Other stores aren't really useful to me. There is no food court. Sometimes you can score some good deals at the smaller stores because of all the sales they have. I usually shop at the Galleria at Roseville and Arden Fair where there are more designer stores and the crowd isn't so "in-your-face." But because this mall is near my hometown whenever I visit, sometimes I have to come here. Skip this one and check out the Outlets in Vacaville instead. read more

Meh. I've experienced better.......is the perfect description for this mall. It has been a few years since I have been here.....but not much has changed. I see there are a few new stores.....but nothing I have not seen before. One of the other reviewers mentioned this was a community mall and I think that is the perfect description for this mall. It is a decent place to shop.....but for my money Napa and Vacaville are much better. Eat, Drink, and be Merry my Friends!!!!!! read more
