Manager with black curly hair was rude. Shooed her employee away while she was helping me. Idk…read moreweird vibes.

Horrible customer service. I was not greeted, helped, or acknowledged, that's fine whatever. But…read morethen the cashier completely ignored me when i was next in line and turned around to talk to her coworker while i waited for at least a minute. Then she finally started to help me, and turned back around AGAIN to gossip about their coworker who had just come in late. Finally after her coworker realized I was just standing there for hella long, she started checking me out. She asked if I had an account, and her tone of voice was very different and rude compared to how she was speaking to her coworker. I gave her my number, and tbh i'm pretty sure she didn't even enter it in. So i won't get my points. She continued to talk to her coworker about the late girl "she was 23 minutes late blah blah" (girlll... why u care if she was late? u can't even do YOUR job). I waited for her to put my item in the bag along with my receipt and then i took it and walked out. Whole time she was talking to the other girl. No "here you go", "thanks for coming in", "have a nice day". I'm not a picky customer, and I work in retail so i understand socializing with coworkers. I would have been fine if she was multitasking and checking me out WHILE gossiping, girl that's fine. But to act like you aren't being paid to be at work and pretend like i don't exist? Crazy. All i can do is blame the fairfield school system, really failed all these low iq teenagers that work at this mall fr.

H & M is pretty much always my go-to spot for work attire. They pretty much always have some sort…read moreof sale going on and their selection of "basics" are always pretty much on point. Last night I stopped in to pick up a pair of pants for work and a couple of sweaters because the City is pretty chilly in the morning. Having worked 11 years in retail ( thank goodness I am not longer in this field), I appreciate good customer service and just a friendly, positive attitude, however, the associate who helped me last night was a bit....maybe too friendly if there is such a thing. Naturally, I was greeted with a, "Hi, how are you?". Obviously I am going to respond with, "good, how are you today?". Its a natural response right? I didn't expect for the associate to tell me how much he was swamped with finals and how he had to write an essay after work but it was okay because this semester they were only taking 11 units as opposed to previous times they took like 15 units and something about he didn't find out till the day of class that he didn't pay all his fees....and....yeah.. you get where I am going, it was a bit too much. ESPECIALLY!! When as I was headed out of the door, I beeped because the associate left a sensor on my pants. Thank goodness I went back because I would have been pissed if I would have gotten home and realized the sensor was still on. Less talking and more paying attention please!

I had a disappointing experience at H&M with a sales associate named Susan. I went to pick up a…read moredress I purchased online and had to wait because it needed to be brought from another floor, which I completely understood and didn't mind. Unfortunately, Susan's attitude made me feel as though helping me was a burden. I understand that working in retail can be busy, but being accommodating, polite, and helpful should be part of providing good customer service. The wait wasn't the issue; it was the way I was treated. I hope H&M takes this feedback seriously and reminds its staff that every customer deserves courtesy and respect.
