Upon entering, we were instantly greeted. Everyone was super nice and you could feel their warmth radiating. This continued through the entire visit. Before we even knew what the food would be like, we already felt "this is it", validating our decision to eat here. Nelly (if I recall correctly), was our server and she was so kind and attentive! I ordered the LK Signature Pancake plate with macadamia nut and vegetarian breakfast sausage. My wife ordered the same plate, but with lilikoi drizzle on the pancakes and Portuguese sausage. For our side, we ordered garlic tots. WOW. The food was incredible. Tots were perfectly crispy. Pancakes were massive, moist, and fluffy with a generous slathering of cream sauce and macadamia nuts. Seriously, there was no part of the pancakes that wasn't covered. It was an incredible sight to behold and even more incredible to eat! The eggs and sausage were also cooked to perfection. Hat's off to chef Hoku! The icing on the [pan]cake was the ambiance. It had a great vibe and the decor was simple, modern, and welcoming. Overall, this was a great experience and we're so grateful to have stopped by. My wife and I had a great time and highly recommend Lilikoi Kitchen. I really enjoyed the Hamachi kama that was offered on the HH menu last week, so I came in specifically for that, but it was taken off the menu. I understand that food item availability can be somewhat of an issue at times, but you'd think they would have a longer term strategy when putting an item in the menu, than one week. I had my usual HH Burrata, and decided to get the Tobanyaki starter (before they take it off), because I wanted something "meaty". I'm hoping the kama will be available again soon, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. The Tobanyaki was good, with a hint of yuzu flavor in the sauce. The steak could have been a little less cooked, but it's served on a sizzling plate, so it's a little tough. I wish the onions were cooked more though, because they were practically raw. I love onions, but vines would've been better. Service is really the 5 star at Goen, that keeps me coming back every week, and I hope that doesn't change, like their menu.

The portion was generous, served with soba noodles and plenty of fresh veggies, making it a a refreshing dish. I also tried some of my boyfriend's braised beef short rib, which was delicious--super tender, and the creamy polenta was cheesy and full of flavor. For dessert, we had halo halo, which was such a fun and tasty treat! It was a strawberry mango shave ice with a variety of toppings and textures. The parking can be challenging having maybe 10 -12 spots in their lot and some street parking . Their Menu is a bit more limited than their other location.
