$82 for a basic haircut was a bit much especially for this to be the turnout. Not to mention the $15 tip. no wash, blow drying or advanced styling. I really enjoyed my time in the stylists chair as she was very nice and super communicable. I'm not one to speak out because I don't want to hurt feelings and I'm not good with confrontation but this cut was awful... I did not reach out to the salon in regards to this incident because I wouldn't want to go back and have them "fix" what they messed up to begin with-- I also wouldn't demand a refund because the stylist has a a family to care for as well and I'm a very understanding person. 2 stars for the personal experience but the haircut is probably a negative 12....

I have been going to Joule Salon for 5 years now and have never been disappointed! Overall, I love the interior set up, style, and music, it really sets the atmosphere! Lisa the owner is SUPER sweet and accommodating wherever she can be. All the other girls are really genuine and welcoming every time I come in for an appointment. Sam is my go-to stylist and she is AWESOME! She has a lot of patience and understanding when I ask questions about certain products to maintenance my blond highlights. She always provides great suggestions on how to care for my hair and how often to use certain products in order to protect the color and health. Their prices are absolutely fair for the quality of service you are receiving with the experience these girls have. I'm a Joule Salon lifer!

From in the moment you enter the salon to the moment you leave, the experience is like spending the time with your girlfriends. All that's missing is coffee, which I bring from Starbucks, or jump in to their next-door neighbor, Le Farm Bakery if I have time. I've been here as a client for more than four years now, from 2 inch short hair to a long bob and a few different cuts and colors in between. I highly recommend the salon, and my favorite stylist there, by far, is Samantha.

Not sure how this is bright blonde like I requested. My hair was blonder before I walked in. Hope the other stylist there can fix this.

LERA did my hair- I give 1 star for the stylist!! So sad to see this when you expected to walk out with your roots touched up blonde and you get this... when I booked this I clearly asked for someone experienced in blondes. I didn't care how long I had to wait just wanted someone with experience. I was booked with, what I come to find out a new stylist. I showed her my hair styles I've had in the past two years wanting to keep dimensions and my blonde. She seemed to understand. But walks away asking for advice from fellow stylists. I became incredibly concerned & I even called the front desk lady to ask if she knows how to do blonde hair. She reassured me she did. Throughout the whole process the stylist continued to ask for advice from her peers. Not once though did a stylist come over to see my hair & realize how porous it is. My stylist said "you had too high of expectations"... really? Well tell me that before you start & ruin my hair. I regret tipping her but I know the beauty industry has been closed for sometime. So it was out of ch I'm already loosing my hair post pregnancy and now I have to go back to get this ugly what looks like box color fixed and loose more hair along the way. I give 4 stars to the owner who jumped in and helped me through my emotional breakdown. But I know "beauty is from within". I left with no advice on how to care for it-I left in a state of shock. Update: in the end, I went to a different salon to have it corrected as much as they could. She had to use a clarifying soap cap to remove the horrible toner that was put in which removed my Brazilian blowout that I had done at a previous salon. My hair is still orangey but thankfully the green is out of my hair. It was Just a horrible experience. I wouldn't trust them to fix it even though they offered.

Greys still on roots where spot was missed.

Have been coming to this salon for about six months...wanted to share last night's experience. I only get my roots done and as you can see from pic they let me leave without acknowledging that a spot right up front was missed. The stylist missed it - the girl that washed my hair missed it. Not sure how it could've happened since the spot was right up front. Ok no problem I call today to explain and have it fixed. Schedule conflicts on both sides would have me waiting 3 days before I can get in...but the reason this salon has lost my business is when I asked how can both the stylist and the washer could let me leave like this without acknowledging the oops - I was told that's an "assumption" on my part that they saw it. Have a look for yourself where they missed the color and explain how this could've been missed? It's right where my hair naturally parts.

I have only got services to upkeep my Balayage, so I am prepared to pay. I like that they greet you (a front-desk area with things to purchase), offer you a beverage (champagne or beer), hot coffee, tea, juice or water. They have great stylists, and a room in the back for hair washing, drying and just spa-like relaxation. Make your appointment on their website and get ready to be pampered!

At scheduling time, the receptionist was very nice and worked with me to find a time that fits schedules well. I was scheduled with Michaela for a Halo face framing type situation and was greeted very kindly by her and everyone else at the front desk. They offer you water and other beverages there as you arrive. There is also local crafted jewelry in the sitting area to browse. Getting back to hair, Michaela was very personable, funny, nice, and professional. The experience was nice and it feels like you're just chatting with an old friend. Honestly I probably chat too much but the story of my life LOL. They take you back to the hair washing area which is quiet and Serene, ready for relaxation. They also offer you and I mask type essential oil situation where you can pick different scents. After your hair is done washing you get processed and then you go back to your sitting area. It took a little bit to get my hair to the desired look but Michaela and the salon made it very easy to work with and get the results we were hoping for. I appreciate them for being so accommodating and ease of everything. Michaela is a great stylist and I would recommend booking with her anytime! Not only will she make your hair look better but just speaking with her makes your day better too.

Scissorhands is my family's favorite with my two younger brothers regularly getting haircuts here. Andy is not as friendly as Miss Kim in Morrisville, but we recently had a nice conversation about the Korean language since I just started studying it. The cut was masterful, for sure, and followed the example I showed in a photo saved in my phone. Shampoo was included at no additional cost and I did not have to wait in my latest visit around Friday noon. I used to pay around $30 to $35 for a regular men's cut but the latest service, Andy charged me $40 (not including tips). As for the atmosphere, it's more spacious than their old location (where they shared space with other salons) but it's not as spacious as Hair News. Nonetheless, it's in a good location by High House Road, close to Cici's Pizza, a small Walmart market, and just less than 5 minutes drive away from HMart.

Came in 10 mins before my appointment and got seated right away. The lady who cut my hair was so sweet and precise, and she asked me a bunch of questions about what I wanted. I let her have a lot of freedom, and it looked great in the end! It was a longer appointment than I expected, but she was very detailed. It ended up being $70 which is pretty expensive in my opinion for just a woman's haircut. If you don't mind paying a hefty price, you should come here.

I told her my hair wings when layered and to leave it long. She promptly chopped off a large top piece and proceeded to layer my entire head. The longest section was only ~3 inches long. She then tried to form ringlets and left it to air dry. It was simply awful. Trying to keep an open mind (and having no other option), I thought I might get used to it. I left the salon. I called her two days later and left a message that I was having trouble making my winging hair look halfway decent, and wondered if she could squeeze me in for a quick fix prior to my event. I was desperate. She never even called back. Very disappointing. I went to my event with a bird's nest hairdo that several people told me wasn't my best look... It was humiliating. I guess she doesn't care about dissatisfied customers.

I initially left her a message and she called me back when she was in between clients. Her place was easy to find, with its own little parking lot which made it convenient to zip in and out. Kim was friendly and listened to what I was looking for, and made suggestions based on my hair type. It was great. She was extremely efficient and my hair came out amazing. Now, I even send my husband there to get his hair cut. She is reasonably priced and sells Aveda products in her salon. I would definitely recommend Kim to anyone looking for a salon in the area... she's worth the wait!
