Just got off the phone after calling twice and talking to 2 different customer service reps. Both of them were rude and not helpful. I asked when my items would be shipped and the answer I got was "I don't know". So I asked for a supervisor, "sorry no supervisor on duty right now." I made one last futile attempt to get any info what so ever that would help me gage some sort of timeline as to when we would receive our purchases and again I was met with vague answers.. Please, Please, Please spend your money elsewhere. I wish I had visited there yelp before I spent my money with them. One bad review after another speaks to their level of thievery and unethical practices. Save yourself the heartache and trouble. So very, very sad. read more

Ordered our daughters college graduation announcements on March 23. When I still hadn't received them by the end of April I finally called to see why we hadn't received them yet. The rep told me that apparently they had shipped on April 3rd or 4th but on the 11th and 12th UPS had put into the system that the shipment had been damaged or destroyed. No one from Jostens ever contacted us. I asked if they could then rush print the order and ship it overnight mail the next day since our daughter's graduation is May 12th. After he finished laughing at my question the rep informed me that it wasn't their fault that UPS messed up. I don't care who screwed up, I was Jostens customer and they should have made it right for me. Will never use this company again and will make sure to spread the word about the horrible customer service ( or lack of customer service). read more

If I could give this company a lower rate I surely would. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. They are absolutely terrible to deal with. In regards to Seniors this year they WILL NOT cancel or refund any monies paid for any Graduation Announcements even though they have never been sent out or even made, and I sent a request back at the end of Feb and received there email stating they were busy. HA typical response There customer service is awful. To all out there find a different company and honest one to deal with. Jostens they are terrible I can't even imagine all the hundred of thousands of people this company if currently ripping off and we should all be sending in complaints to yelp and the BBB. Worst Company to deal with , Unprofessional and Incompetent. Do NOT buy from this company they have no idea what they are doing. No way to correct their errors and not on the same page. Its very sad to see a company like his at this time ripping off the public and continuing to get away with this they need to be stopped and to not continue to rip off others in the future especially through these hard tines. read more

I don't understand why any school would use this for their graduation products. Worst customer service ever! Over paid, no apology given when I sent an email. read more

My rating is actually zero. The customer service is the worst. My daughter had been creating a invitation for a couple of days, we had a 25% off email offer. I was about to pay and already had it in my cart with the discount applied, but noticed a typo, so I changed it and when I went back in to pay the discount was gone. By that time it was past midnight so I couldn't use the code. My fault totally, should have done it sooner, but called the next morning to see if they could honor it, and the CS rep was very rude, said If I had done it by midnight I could have used it. Well no kidding, I'm not stupid, I'm asking for a courtesy. There are all the competitors out there that are happy to give me a BIGGER discount, and I went with them. Don't use Jostens is my recommendation. read more

Tell me....why should I pay such outlandish prices for gold plated steel and lab created stones? One could purchase a genuine earth-mined gemstone from a dealer and have it set in a custom 14/18K gold setting (if you know a good jeweler) for slightly more than the egregious prices this company charges for their lackluster product. Support local business and buy real gemstones rather than these overpriced wastes of Beryllium and Silicon. read more

Absolutely terrible service. The orders came in today at my school only for me to learn they lost both my order form and the check attatched to it. When I tried to recieve help about it all they told me is that they couldn't help me. I had to pay for a whole new cap and gown and I wont be recieving any of the other items I had ordered on my form. The only reason this company is still even in business is because schools practically force their students to order from them. If you have any other way to get a cap and gown that doesn't involve jostens I would do that. read more

If I could rate 0 stars I would. I ordered my grad announcements online WITH the representative on the phone. The order came back all wrong. Called them back and because I did not get the persons name, the only thing they offered was for me to order again and pay the extra money to have them come AFTER my graduation. If you can order by any other means DO IT!!!! read more

Oh, wow. I should read reviews before I ordered anything from them. They've been horrible specially customer service. My gown is oversize, i look like a huge black garbage bag and they say it is ok. It should be that big. The don't want to exchange the product. I spent so much time and money with them and stayed without a gown((((( Don't deal with them. Avoid!!! read more

If I could, I would give Jostens zero stars. My kids high school graduation ring is NOTHING as it appeared in their catalogue or on their site. The stone in the middle is not shiny and bright, it's dull and dark. The ring itself is too light weight. The emblems on the outside of the ring are murky and need a magnifying glass to read in direct sunlight. The engraving on the inside of the ring might as well not even be there. Extremely disappointed. Buyer beware! read more

Ridiculous. I wish I read these reviews sooner. I had the same problems as others. I ordered online, never received my order. Thought that the school kept my son's cap and gown that I ordered last year. They sent it back to Jostens. They never issued a refund. They keep no records. How is it legal that you give a company money for a product, and they deliver nothing and refuse to give your money back unless you send them something in writing. I have my records, this is the twentieth century, time for this company to move into this century. read more

I placed my order almost two weeks ago and could not find it on their status page. Called to find out why, and they said that the school image would require new die set which they weren't willing to pay for so I should change my selection. 1 - if they can't provide the die then why is it offered and 2 - why did I have to call them to follow up, they should have called me right away when they realized there was a problem. Horrible selection and horrible customer service. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! read more

I have emailed and called this company several times over the course of about 2 weeks, and nobody can give me info on where my daughter's class ring is! They tell me the local rep has had it since October 17th....and that she shipped it to me on Jan. 2nd. I contacted the rep and she claims to both have it! This is bullshit. Do NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. You're better off going to Walmart!!!!!!!! read more

Terrible customer service. Didn't answer any questions I submitted by email because I had called once before to find out why I hadn't received any order info from them. They had my email address spelled wrong in their system. It was spelled correctly on the form we submitted at school. They want you to call and it takes forever to get a person on the phone and to find the info needed. In school representative was no help. Will look at other companies when my other child graduates. Sorry, can't recommend this company. read more

Ordered my daughter a yearbook for freshman year and spent an extra $15 for a name plate that was never received. Just because they had a tracking number and said the post office delivered it to our house they weren't going to refund. I'm not impressed with the customer service and will not use them again. read more

No stars based on their customer service. They charged me $12 for shipping and handling of a graduation cap tassle. When the tassle arrived, it arrived USPS in a cheap padded envelope with $2 postage. A rip off. read more

This company has NO customer service skills no matter how much you spend with them. My daughter graduated this year and my son will graduate in 2019. They do not stand by the mistakes they make and offer no satisfaction as to any regard to the consumer. I spenT a fortune with them for my daughter and I am cancelling all of the items I have payments on for my son. All I can say is they are outragously over priced and don't care if they have supplied the correct product or not. Their website is extremely difficult to navigate. BUYER BEWARE. read more

This site will not let me mark it with 1 star. It says EeK! Methinks not. So I will put a 2 just to get the word out at how awful they are! I ordered my son's graduation announcements through them online, and I called them to make sure I received them by the 1st of May. The lady said I would at the latest by the 5th. I was okay with this because I could overnight the few that were out of state. I still have not received the announcements. They just barely shipped them yesterday. I will not receive them until the 17th in the evening which means they will not be sent out until the 20th. Even sending them overnight will only get them to families homes the day of his graduation. This was a $170.00 purchase, and I now have to look for a local place that will hopefully be able to get them done up in one day. I will most likely be paying an extreme amount of money for them to be done. I should have know the Jostens would do this because of what they did with my class ring. I had gotten my ring from them, and they refused to replace it with their warranty. It was stolen, and they told me that they would not be able to replace it. They gave no reason. They did say I could pay $150.00 to order another one. How kind of them. If any of you plan on doing your children's graduation, don't use them. If you have to, then get your orders in at the beginning of the school year, because it'll take that long for you to get them. read more

We just placed order for some very overpriced graduation cap, gown, and announcements. But, really the kicker was when clients are gouged for ANOTHER $10 shipping and they aren't even getting the items shipped to them at their homes??? They are all just being dumped off at school all together but Jostens is overcharging parents another $10 PER STUDENT for this universal drop off (with 1200 students in this graduating class that would be a whopping $12,000 if all students ordered for a single drop off !!! . This is outrageous. Shame on you Jostens!! read more

I just received my '"redo of the redo", the THIRD error correction, yes THIRD, on my daughters graduation announcements, and it has the SAME ERROR AS THE OTHER TWO boxes of graduation announcements. It's such a POOR operation....terrible. When we call, they fumble around with excuses, and they just can't get it right. NOW WE ARE OUT OF TIME, empty handed. Don't use Jostens if you want quality work done correctly. The paper it is printed on is very flimsy, like typing paper, and the printing looks like it came off a home-printer, no embossing, no gloss, etc. I would have given them a ZERO star, but that isn't an option. We wasted our time and our money with Jostens. The last phone call with Corrine, she assured us it would be correct, and that SHE WOULD CALL last Friday and read it to us over the phone before she sent it. Surprise, surprise, she didn't call. read more

Garbage company. Would never have ordered if it wasn't required of my school. If the unreasonably inflated price of the gown wasn't enough to make me gag, it was pretty crumby quality. I have a super cheap halloween costume I bought off of eBay that was made of the same material. They don't do returns or rentals, so of course I'm still left with this atrocious gown I was way overcharged for, and never ended up wearing. (Decided not to walk. Funny enough, Jostens was part of the reason. I guess joke's on me though, since they robbed me anyway.) Thanks, jerks. read more

I tried to order all my daughter's graduation supplies, but couldn't order the cap &gown without one of those ridiculous packages. I complained and waited to add a cap & gown. They never replied to me and I was unable to order a cap & gown by itself until after my daughter's deadline to order a yearbook had passed. I am beyond pissed and there's absolutely nothing that I can do about it. One day past deadline - still no response on my original question - and all I get is "I'm sorry". read more

I haven't ordered anything new from Josten's in over 25 years, so I can't speak to their current product line. But I have two rings from Josten's, purchased in 1983 and 1987 respectively. They were sitting in my jewelry box literally for decades before I decided to see whether I could have the 14k college ring resized. Jostens did that for only the cost of shipping the ring back to them. They did such a nice job with it that I decided to see whether I could have the high school ring resized inexpensively as well, since I thought the non-gold rings cost money to resize. In both cases, Jostens did the resizing for free, polished the rings, and shipped them back to me for free; I only paid the initial postage to send them to Josten's in the first place, and the customer service representatives with whom I communicated to find out the procedure could not have been nicer. It's very rare in my experience to have a company actually live up to its warranty policies. So I could not be happier with Josten's, and am still enjoying my rings a quarter century after they were purchased. read more

This sorry excuse for a company lied and "guaranteed" my sons graduation gown would be delivered before his ceremony. It was over priced to begin with and then we didn't get it, so he can't attend the ceremony. They said I ordered late but it was 4 weeks. A company like this should be able to deliver a standard color gown in standard size in 4 weeks, plus the guaranteed it. Poor excuse for a company. read more

Beware! The representatives from this place are about the rudest bunch I've ever seen. This place is a rip off and trust me, they don't give 2 cents about your kids. I wouldn't buy a set of bed sheets from this company. They claimed they credited money back to me, which was a lie, and tried to put the blame on the high school. I was led to believe that my daughters cap and gown was included in our purchase and it was not, eventhough an invoice and representative in an earlier conversation assured me it was. Again, beware. read more

I spent miles of driving attempting to find the true physical location of the Jostens in the east valley. If you google jostens AZ, Google comes up with a Ray Road address in Santa Fe Square. I drove there & two other cars searching for company. Associate from another came out & said they moved handing out an E. Hampton Mesa address. I then drive there only to see a typewritten sign on door saying "sorry to inconvenience you but we've relocated to Cave Creek Road in Phoenix." Before driving out there, I called the 1-800 number listed to a clueless customer service rep so then tried local number to which of course I was connected to a recording. Ordering and delivering to my daughters high school was done months ago and I'm now in need of extra announcements .It's like finding The Wizard of Oz. read more

The level of incompetence demonstrated by this company has been astounding. I placed an order with them at the start of December, and was assured it would arrive within the month. That turned out not to be the case. After a frustratingly long amount of time I called to check on the progress of my order, only to find that it had never been shipped. Not only that, but they had somehow misplaced the address that it needed to be shipped to. Several frustrating phone calls and a lot of time spent on hold later I was assured that my order would arrive within 7 to 10 business days. 7 days passed, 10 days passed, two weeks passed... I called again. When I called Jostens I was informed that my order had been shipped and that they did not know why I had not yet received the order. But, I was told that they had a tracking number for the order and that they would call back with the tracking number and more information. Five more days passed. I called them again. What I was then told was that the order had never shipped at all, and was in fact still at their office. I was then told that it would be overnighted to me. But, as it turned out, they couldn't overnight it so it will now, supposedly, be arriving on Monday. I placed this order in December, it is now the middle of march and I still have not received it. read more

This place is horrible to do business with. They sneak all kinds of fees in and then charge high shipping costs which they ship to the school all at once. read more

During the grad fair at my university (October), they were selling diploma frames from Jostens. One I received my diploma, that following January, I realized the mounting bracket for the $120.00 diploma frame was missing. I called both my university and Jostens to either exchange it or to have them send me the bracket. No one has returned my call. So unfortunately, i had to purchase a different type of mounting bracket so I could display my achievement and not wait months for someone to finally return my call. I will never buy anything from them again. read more

NO STARS! Can't even begin to count the numerous problems we had with any and every order we did with them, through the rep at the school or on our own. From random prices changes to broken items - you name it. The secretary who worked with the representative for our school could not have been more rude and disregarding of the issues we were having....which I might add were her fault. She entered in my email address incorrectly on one order and could never fix it to the point that I was never able to gain access to that order. So I had to pray that my child's cap and gown and the rest of the order came on time/right size/etc. We went from everything major to minor with these people....(so happens I have now received not one....but TWO large grade frames that have both arrived broken - and yes, I've called. Take a guess as to whether they will give me my money back or keep sending me broken replacements) So, I took the frames over to a local do-it-center just to replace the glass myself and guess what? The entire frame was crumbling as the lady took it out of the plastic to measure it ---- BOTH OF THEM. Then the invitations came in..... 7 of them had NO PRINT IN THE INSIDE. Blank invites. So I had to mark off about 6 friends/family that we wanted to send invitations to but did not have enough due to this with no time to order more. I could go on and on but it won't do a damn bit of good. I used this company when I graduated in '97 and don't remember having the anguish we just went through. This company alone caused more stress on the already stressful year of getting your child out of high school and off to college. I wish these stars were in the negative. read more

My daughter just graduated in June of 2018, we ordered some very overpriced class apparel for her and she was told at the time of cap and gown pick up that Jostens will mail her the remainder of her order later this summer. With life getting busy signing her up for college and beginning college we forgot about the remainder of her order until this week. We just realized we never received the order. I called Jostens and gave them the information and they were able to look up the order but then said because I didn't call for 3 months after the order was supposed to be received they wouldn't do anything. I don't understand why you can't look into where my order went or even if you sent it out when you are able to see the order in your system. So basically Jostens stole my money and didn't fulfill the order. The rep said she could see it but her supervisor said she can't help me. What a joke of a company and I advise anyone who is planning to buy anything but the required cap and gown to go elsewhere for everything else. These people are thieves! read more

It's not fair for them to monopolize senior/grad products. They're the absolute worst. They didn't send me any of my senior products. The only one they did send was my cap and gown and i don't even count that because it was the wrong color! I had to go to my student accounts office and have them fix it because lord knows jostens wouldn't have done anything about it. So hey jostens, i graduated over a month ago and I'm still waiting on my senior stuff! read more

I ordered my daughter's class ring November 1 for a Christmas present. The ring arrived about 2 weeks before Christmas with the wrong stone in it. I checked my order and had ordered it correctly. I phoned them and they said I would have to return it for "warranty repair". I don't consider a mistake by the manufacturer a "warranty repair". Nevertheless, I had to return the ring and was told that it would be another 4-6 weeks for the ring to be fixed and returned. I stated that since it was their mistake that they made the ring wrong, couldn't it be expedited in order to get here for Christmas. Answer: NO. It would be expedited but would take another 4-6 weeks; that was the expedited time. I told them that the original ring took 6 weeks and that another 4-6 weeks was not expedited. Just received a notice that the ring is scheduled to ship week of January 20. More than 4 weeks after I returned it. Not happy at all with the service from this company. read more

first of all my son's announcements too over the time period. took them 4 days to contact me! second i'm missing part of my order. never and i mean never will i do order anything from this company. after reading the issue with the class ring i'll be going else wear for a ring. as a part this has caused me nothing but stress. this is supposed to be a happy time for my child and i. for a company that is well know they should practice their customer service skills !!!!!!!!!!!!!! disappointed parent read more

I recently purchased my second college ring from Jostens. They are 2 for 2 on mistakes. The first looked horrible in regards to the painted lettering. I did not send it back, as I thought with wear and tear it would eventually come off anyway.....The second was too funny; my school creast is a separate piece of the ring assembly that fits on top, and was MISSING upon it being delivered to my home. I called and then sent it back...I still have not received it back yet, but was told it would take 4 weeks....It took 6 weeks from original purchase to delivery. It is an absolute shame this company represents the rings worn by so many proud college graduates. Their rings and customer service are terrible. GO TO YOUR LOCAL jeweler and have them outfit you or your childern for their rings. This company is a joke. Again, I had 2 orders, they screwed them both up. read more

This company's customer service is beyond poor. Last year, by BF bought me the BlackHawks Stanley Cup women's ring. It took four months to arrive. Their excuse was that it was because he called in the very next day to change the size. Well, this was not true, as the ring arrived with the incorrect size. Almost five months ago, one of the prongs broke, so he followed the instructions and sent it to Josten's for repair. Well, I am still waiting for my ring. If it wasn't under warranty, I would have had a local jeweler repair it. Now, I know that's what I should have done. We keep calling customer service, and they claim it was shipped LAST WEEK....AND THE WEEK BEFORE.....My next step is to write the president of the company. read more

I would avoid ordering graduation announcements from Jostens. I have been waiting for a month now and still do not have my sons announcements! Just received my daughter's college graduation announcements from Jolstens. Very disappointed. They look like something I would have done back in the 1990's on my home computer. Cheap paper, with different fonts sizes that make it look awkward. I spent $140 for 50 announcements and I'm embarrassed to send them out, they look so bad. I ordered party invites from Vistaprint & they look 1000x's better and I only spent $50 for 100. I would recommend using Vistaprint & design your own announcements. read more

The good news is, I finally finished my PhD. The bad news is, Jostens screwed up my graduation ceremony. I ordered my doctoral regalia 10 weeks before the ceremony. I contacted Jostens a few days after they received my order to confirm that the hood would have the correct color for the degree I earned. I received this "confirmation" in writing via email. The incredibly overpriced regalia arrived last week with ... you guessed it, the WRONG DEGREE BAND! When I contacted Jostens to make them aware (sending them back what they promised me in writing) the answer I received was "we cannot guarantee that you will receive the corrected hood back in time for the graduation so go ahead and use the hood and then send it back after the graduation. Here is the alterations form." REALLY!!!! My dissertation chair won't hood me with the wrong hood representing a degree I didn't earn! I also have to wear this regalia again in a few weeks for the commencement ceremonies at the university where I work. Um... Also, no return shipping label? I'm not paying to ship you back your screw up! Jostens, If I can figure out how to get a PhD, you should be able to learn your colors! read more

First order (cap, gown, announcement combo pack) never arrived- turned out it was never sent and missing the cap and gown. I was charged a restocking fee after calling and finding out that my order was never put together in the first place. Replacement order: only name cards and a water bottle - missing everything else. Office secretary showed me a slip stating the cap and gown was already sent to my home address. Office called the rep and he said he would "find something from around his office and should have a cap and gown for my daughter a few day before graduation". Called Jostens. All they can do for me is have the rep mail me some of the extra announcements and hope to have a gown for graduation day. No money back, no finishing of the order I purchased. Am still trying to find someone higher up to fix this, but apparently there is no one to be transferred to that won't send me directly to their automated survey. Go to your local stationary store and check with the school for extra cap and gowns. It's not worth the $300. read more
