If i could give this less than one star, I would. The people are very nice and polite; that's not the problem. I ordered my graduation invitations from here, and they said it would very nice thick paper. However, it is literally copy paper. I also ordered photo cards along with the regular announcements. After I purchased them, I went back to the website to create my photo cards, and they were awful. It seems like there are a lot of choices at first glance, but rarely any of them are useful other than the ones with only one picture on them. Most don't have many color options. Also, most of the cards with multiple pictures don't have big enough spaces for pictures so they are useless. And the best part, my last name won't fit on any of the cards, because it is really long and you can't change the size of text box. the only way I could make my name fit was to make the font so small it was unreadable. I wanted a refund because none of them were working for me, but they said I couldn't get one even though I had not even created the photo cards and submitted them. read more

My oldest son is graduating and Jostens is the company suggested to use by his school for Cap&Gown, Senior items, stationary, etc. I wanted our stationary to be unique, thank goodness, so all I needed was the Cap&Gown. So we ordered and was told it was going to be delivered to the school on a day I knew my son would be absent. I quickly emailed Jostens to let them know (mind you this was 3 months in advace) and they ensured me it would left in the school office for when he returned. He returned and no Cap&Gown. I emailed again to open an investigation and didn't get a response for a week. During this time I found out, on my own, the Josten representative gave his Cap&Gown to my son's friend. Jostens just emailed me after 2 weeks to tell me my son can go to the office now to get a cap&Gown that the representative will drop off. They didn't even know they had given the original one away to someone who didn't pay for it. I politely told the representative that I will not be using their company for my other 2 children's graduation needs. This time is already stressful for parents. We don't have time searching the city for things that are guaranteed to be delivered correctly. read more

Recieved our graduation invations with the wrong time on them. customer service has been a joke. graduation is in 3 weeks. they are telling me will be 10 business days before I get the correct invations. They do not see a problem with this as, "You will have them before graduation" I guess they dont expect us to mail them out??? Very disappointed. read more

I bought a ring... when buying it i asked how long it would take for the ring to arrive, i was told "honestly, about 4-6 weeks" when the 6th week arrives and i still had no ring i sent the rep an email, asking when i would be receiving it and he then said it usually takes 6-8 weeks. it is now the 9th week and after calling him saying that i still did not have it, he said it had been shipped on the 24th of march and i should be getting it this week or next... it was made in canada, being shipping within canada... it should not take 3 weeks to receive a ring within the country of origin, by next week he'll probably be telling me i have to wait another 2 weeks... and you can't pay until you receive it, i'm a student and the ring is about $300, i have things to pay, and i could really be using that money for other things at this point... had i known it would be such a struggle initially i would've never bought it, i don't even want it now, and at this point i'm wondering if i'm even going to get it.... i will never be buying from them again, and i would not recommend their service to anyone. read more

No stars for Jostens. I ordered a class ring for my daughter and was told that if we made the $50 down payment on the first day then we would get a $35 discount on our order. Well I actually made a down payment of $60 and ordered my daughters ring on the first day. They gave us a slip of paper stating our balance due was $49.04 however, we go to get the ring and pay that balance due to find out that oh...you owe another $36.34 and the discount was for a special metal and yours was exempt. Why would they give us a balance due of $49.04 if that was the case. They order specifically said what metal we were ordering and they did not even indicate that the offer was for a special order. Was told that those slips that they give us are subject to audit and we have to pay the $36.34. I will only order from these people if I absolutely have to and that is it. They are deceptive and a rip off. read more

Needed to make a change to my daughters ring and while they were more than helpful to make the change there was of course a change fee because they had already made the ring without it being 50% paid. They break their own policy of not making the ring before it is half paid and I need to pay for it. Poor customer service read more

I paid hundreds of dollars for a class ring and waited patiently for almost three months for it to come just to have Jostens spell my name wrong on the ring. On several order forms my name was clearly printed specifically because of fear that this would happen. If the company had any doubt at all they should have contacted their customer. Now I have to wait another three months for the correct ring to come. I feel completely disrespected and appalled at the unprofessionalism of Jostens. read more

Ordering a class ring has been a nightmare! I order my high school class ring back in the middle of October. While it came in a very timely manner (about 5 weeks after I ordered it), it was set with the wrong stone. I ordered my ring with a very distinct, dark December Blue Zircon stone piece. When my ring came in, the stone was very light, almost clear looking and more purple than blue. I called customer services and they gave me instructions on returning the ring, which I promptly mailed out the next day with a copy of my purchase order and very clear, specific instructions about what I wanted fixed. Only three and a half weeks later did I get a call saying my order was on hold so they could "review stone options" with me. Then I was told that "there are two different shades of blue" (yeah, whatever) and had to verbally state which color I wanted, since twice in writing wasn't good enough. Then I was told that the corrected ring will be shipped out within 4-6 weeks. So I suppose they're manufacturing an entirely new one. Overall, I'm very dissatisfied and will not be using this company for anything else. Should have gone with Balfour. read more

I will never order anything from jostens again. Their customer service is rude and misleading telling me my order was canceled when it wasn't I was expecting to receive 100 dollars this week but instead I had to call and now get to wait another at least 4 weeks for my check to arrive. I also ordered a graduation package the announcements were a joke I could do them at home on my computer and the bag i received is falling apart at the seems literally they are a horrible company with horrible products read more

This was supposed to be easy. Order announcements and ring through the school. Well, they delivered items to the school, 3 weeks before graduation. Should have been nice & easy. However, my daughter's graduation announcements did not include her name card. I contacted them and they said the cards would ship out in 7 -10 days. I have been calling for 3 weeks. Their customer service hung up on me twice and disconnected me when I tried to talk to a manager. When I finally got through, I was told they had not even shipped. I put in a complaint online and now whey sent me an email this morning, for me to expect them in 7-10 days!! So she will graduate Monday (3 days) and I still do not have her name cards! This is the worst customer service. Run away, order from someone else! read more

I cleary Stated that I wanted a size 10.5. They sent me a size 10 ( the box says 10.5 but it is the same size as my wedding band (10) ). Very disappointing because I will have to send it back and wait another 6 weeks with NO TRACKING. Seriously? Amazon tracks a two dollar cable during a 2 day shipment and Jostens wont track a 700 dollar ring over a 10 Bissiness days shipment. Just have a custom ring made at a jeweler, cheaper, better warranty, and wayyy faster. read more

Their representative sized me wrong. Second, they left weld marks on the band. When you pay this much for a ring, it should be nice. After resenting it to the company to have it resized and corrected, they sent it back a month or two later. The ring was the same size with the same weld mark on the band (where the band connects to the setting). Band is now warped, thinner (like they shaved metal off the sides), and the material feels different and looks less shiny. Oddly, it feels light now, too. I suppose they can afford a lifetime warranty when all they have to pay for is shipping! Forget the ring. I want my money back! read more

Paying for a cap and gown for graduation only to find out you cannot return the gown for money back. What the heck are we going to do with a graduation gown? And the crazy woman at Josten's tells me to go back to the high school next year and sell it to someone else!! She had some nerve! I have no time to worry about going back to a high school my son does not attend to try and find a buyer for this damn gown. RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF. THEY ARE MAKING MONEY HAND OVER FIST AND FORCING THE PARENTS TO PAY A LARGE SUM OF MONEY FOR 1 DARN HOUR. They are a joke! read more

Just rent your cap and gown. Go elsewhere for invitations and any jewelry. Awful receptionist on the phone. You will save yourself a lot of money read more

Wow, I just filled out a my order form for my 2017 graduation. The entire form is basically a cheap advertisement that tries to trick you into ordering 200+ dollars of merchandise by including "free" stuff in different packages, when you only need 15 dollars worth for graduation. On top of this, you have a 10 dollar S and H fee. This company is solely about the short-term profit and extorting as much money out of their customers as possible. Wish my school wasn't using this service. Its complete and utter crap. Would give it a 0. read more

Jostens is a greedy company that just loves to try and wring money out of graduating students. They shove promotions for class jewelry for hundreds of dollars and try to get you to buy their garbage senior apparel. They also try to word their order forms to make it sound as if you have to buy things other than the cap and gown, someone at my school thought they had to order something optional because of this and ended up spending $15 or so more than needed. Even if you don't plan on buying their garbage extra stuff, it still costs you a shit load of money to just get a basic cap and gown for your graduation. They charge you up the ass with shipping fees and make you jump through hoops to contact them or get any sort of customer support. They appear nice and friendly on days where they send someone to your school to try and coax you into buying their garbage, but outside of that they're rude and offer barely any communication. The first day someone from Jostens talked to my senior class, most of the presentation was about buying extra stuff like apparel, class jewelry, announcement cards, and promoting their $300 packages full of useless gimmick items. read more

Jostens Pix delivers poor service. I placed an order the evening of Oct. 23rd. I changed a pose and had to delete and reenter everything in the shopping cart. At confirmation I realized I forgot to change the background to match my other child's pictures. I immediately emailed and received a response I would be contacted within 2 business days. I called right away at 8 am and left a message. I called back at 8:30 and spoke with a CSR. She called back in 20 min and told me the order was in production and cannot be changed. So, they were able to run my credit card and get my order into production in only 13 hours? I called back on the 27th to verify production as the confirmation page states order will ship 2-5 days from production. The rep tells me the order is in production and delivery will be 2-3 weeks. I ask to speak to a manager and ask why I was told the background couldn't be changed and the order is still sitting in production. The supervisor tells me that she will check into it and get back to me later in the day. We are now at the 31st and still no call. This is a big organization that takes the money and provides no service. read more

If I could leave them a zero rating I would. I ordered my cap, gown and hood from their website for my masters graduation. When I received the package I discovered I was sent the wrong gown and the tassel looked like a tassel for a kindergarten class (not bound together by anything and no year charm). I called and spoke to Spencer who assured me I would receive the correct items within the next week prior to my graduation. Waited a week and sure enough was sent the incorrect items AGAIN!!! Called again and had the pleasure to speak to a woman who didn't give her name was probably the rudest person I've spoke to in any customer service position. Told me it wasn't their problem and I needed to contact the university book store even though I ordered directly from Jostens and wouldn't even let me speak or ask questions. Thankfully they messed up and sent a friend two sets so I now have a back up or I'd be graduating in the wrong attire. Just beyond horrific customer service. read more

DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!! If I could give them a zero I would... I ordered a diploma plaque on April 17, 2015... I still do not have it! I called in May and was told it would be delivered to the school by the end of that month. It wasn't delivered to the school. I called again and was told that it would be handed out at the graduation ceremony. It was not. I called again and was told by Shantell that it would be shipped directly to me by the end of June. It was not. I called AGAIN... and was told that I ordered it late (most parents ordered theirs in January) and that I'll have to wait until it comes. COMES FROM WHERE? I requested my money back. I was told that I cannot have my money back because the plaque has been ordered and the only way I can is if it doesn't come. HOW LONG AM I SUPPOSED TO WAIT?????? It has been 3 months already! I asked to speak to a supervisor... she was "conveniently" no longer there... after the customer service rep had just placed me on hold to ask her a question! I asked to speak to anyone else in the office. A guy named Dillan came on the line. He told me that the supervisor, Melissa, only shows up for a few minutes...MINUTES... to basically open the door and then she goes home to spend time with her kids since it's the summer. They said they would take my name and number and give it to her so she could call me back. If she only stays for minutes a day when is that supposed to happen? I asked what the owners name is and how to contact him. His name is supposedly Jeff and he can only be contacted through the Jostens email. THEY DO NOT ANSWER EMAILS! I have sent them before! I asked the representative, Dillan, how long is a reasonable amount of time to wait. He said that he's paid $4000 for guitars and waited longer than I have... so I should be willing to wait until the end of July to see if it arrives by then...WTF!?!?!?! I JUST WANT MY DAMN MONEY BACK!! read more

While trying to order high school announcements online the site was confusing and misleading. You feel as though you are ordering the wrong announcement because the visual is not displayed. After waiting 2 weeks to get the announcements, at $2 each, we realized the name cards had to be ordered separate. The announcements came in increments of 25 but the smallest amount of name cards you could order is 50 at $1 each!!!! We would not have ordered the name cards but the announcement has a big void space and slits cut for the name so if you don't have it it looks bad. Also, when ordering we spelled our name out to the rep and he spelled it back to us. But you know what happened, after waiting 2 more weeks it came misspelled. I called and explained and they said they would expedite it to me in 4-5 business days. I asked for a direct phone # to call when my name cards don't get here in 4-5 days and she gave me one. I am now late sending out the announcements. Josten's has been at this a very long time and have found way to get more money with the name cards. It is price gouging. Let me say the last rep I talked to was professional and sorry for my mess. I knew she wasen't part of the problem and told her I would not want her job receiving all of the complaints! read more

I placed two orders for announcements with this company. The first order was as expected. I needed more graduation announcements for my son's high school graduation. When I received the second order. They were of horrible quality and printed on regular paper card stock you would purchase from Office Depot. I was so embarrassed to send those announcements out. I contacted Jostens for a refund and asked to send them back. I was told they would only provide a 20.00 refund for those crappy announcements! Then a month later I never received the refund by check! I contacted them and they had no idea about the refund. I requested a supervisor and they placed me on the line with a supervisor poser that had no authority! They finally listened to the call to confirm my refund after placing me on hold for several minutes. i then requested a full refund instead. I was told they would call back with the decision from a supervisor. I did not receive a call and had to call them back 4 hrs later! I requested a real supervisor and she was rude and stated they would only provide a $20.00 refund and now requested I send the announcements back to them for a full refund. They were not providing a return label. I already paid for announcements form VISTA PRINT(Better Quality and cheaper BTW) and had to rush the delivery because of their poor quality announcement they sent me. I was not about to give them another dime of my money. I doubt they will send me a refund. Beware, they are not a great company, poor customer service and poor quality. i would suggest to order your announcements else where!!! Nothing was resolved. They didn't even apologize for not sending my refund originally or compensate for it. read more

bad service.... they lose your money and have no idea where it went....and they want you to do all the running around to show proof you paid it off and your not lying... bad services read more

Wow, I have never seen such poor quality. Seriously disappointed in the announcements that purchased through Jostens. I live in Washington and ordered announcements for my niece in Alaska. I have had two sons graduate and their announcements were awesome, our school doesn't use Jostens and now I know why! I paid good money expecting my niece would get a good product. All they are is a thick piece of regular size paper folded in half and in half again with some crappy ink slapped in it. The font is small and hard to read and the ink bled over onto the other side of the announcement when they folded it... even the envelopes were weak. If I would have known how bad they were going to be I would have paid someone else my money and at least had the opportunity to approve what they were going to look like. Jostens better step up the quality of their goods or they are going to end up without any business, they certainly won't be getting mine again! read more

Total ripoff !!! My son didn't receive his cap and gown because the company claimed he didn't order it. I told him to order another one and we have to suck up the 18.00 unless we find the receipt from August/September. He orders it and is charged 63.00!!!!! 48.00 because he is ordering late and the rest is for shipping. Unbelievable!!! They have a warehouse full of caps and gowns and are just going to pull one and ship it. I would not recommend buying anything extra from this company. Look someplace else for announcements, invitations, rings etc. Don't let all the emails and notices from Jostens fool you into believing that you have to order all the extras from them. Support your local businesses instead of Jostens. When you have all the school from elementary through college under contract they don't care about your issues because they are making so much money that it doesn't matter. read more

The day I had my finger sized I gave the representative my order with all my contact and the money. I didn't hear from them util 2 weeks later. (I had to contact them via. e-mail) The rep. said that they didn't place the order because they found a better one and cheaper. I still want to know why he couldn't just place the order for ring i wanted. He said that I didn't design my ring on the champ ring designer (looked all over the website, there is no such thing). I'm still wondering why they couldn't contact me earlier and not have waited until I e-mailed them. 2 weeks, I get a receipt mailed to me. The receipt gave me a pass code and school ID, I tried signing in more than once then kept trying to sign for about 5 days. The information they gave me was false. I received that receipt on April 15 then turns out my order was on hold. So 3 weeks later my order has finally been placed. I wanted to wear my ring before I graduated but no, jostens has by far the worst customer service I've ever had to deal with. I recently sent them and E-mail and its been 4 days and they still have not replied to me. I told them to cancel the order because the order was finally placed on May 1st and you can only cancel a ring order with in 3 days of the date that it was place. So of course they would wait to reply to me so they can keep their money. Not to mention that their website says it'll only take 2 days max for them to reply. I would give them a zero if I could! read more
