Jose's tree service is the only one to use. I called others for estimates which took longer to receive, were higher in cost, and would take longer to get the job done. Jose came quickly, quoted the cheapest price, and was able to come within a couple days to do the job. He arrived with a crew of 6 guys who busted their backs the whole time and completely cleaned up after themselves (in not just my yard but my neighbor's too). They did an absolutely awesome job removing the four trees and two stumps in the original quote plus hauling away old deck wood and cleaning out my gutters which I added on upon arrival. I cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

We hired Jose's Tree Service to remove a tree stump in our yard. This was not an ordinary stump - there was a chain-link fence entangled in it! Our landscaper refused to touch it, and another Tree service gave us a much higher estimate. The job was done this afternoon. Although the crew was delayed by another job, they called to inform us of the delay ahead of time so we weren't left waiting. And when the crew arrived, they were efficient, competent and professional. They hauled away the debris, ground up the stump and cleaned up the area quite nicely. I am very impressed with the high quality of the work. It was top notch. We will definitely hire this company again. read more

Recently hired Jose and his team to trim two very large trees in my yard. The trees needed immediate care due to branches falling during storms and heavy wind. Although Jose was not able to make it out his first set appointment, and did not call to notify me, he was there on time the following scheduled, and patience paid off tremendously. Not only am I satisifed with the results, this is probably the best hundreds of dollars I have spent in a long time! Never thought the trimming of trees would open and transform the space so much. Thank you Jose! read more

Amazing!!!!! I called Jose on a Friday. Asked for a quote. He came within an hour. I agreed on the price, i couldn't believe how much more less it was compared to the other 2 places that i had previously called. He check out the tree on a Friday and came on Monday with his crew and removed the tree and stump in less time than expected. Great price!!!!!! Well worth the money. They cleaned up and hauled everything away. I highly recommend them. read more

These guys are awesome. I had a tree that got badly damaged with all the storms that came through here. Jose's Tree Service quoted me a great price and did the work within a week. Other places took a week to call me back just to get an estimate. These guys are great and they left my yard looking better then it was when they got there. read more

These reviews look great but don't know why I've called 10 times or more and no -one will return my calls. It's very frustrating, especially when I need professional tree service. read more

We had large, thick and tall tree branches over our garage, yard and near our roof from next door. We had a large branch to be removed and some trimming needed in our front yard also. Called Jose's company and got an estimate the next day and they completed the work the day after that. Some of these branches were far into our yard and could not be reached by a cherry picker truck. No problem for Jose's crew! They climbed, roped and removed the branches piece by piece. A big job! And they finished in a short time. They removed all the debris. They were polite and professional. They are skilled at what they do and I would definitely hire them again as well as recommend them to family, friends.and anyone who needs tree service. .A good, reliable company to work with who did a great job. read more

Jose came and gave a quote which seemed reasonable and what I expected the job to be. When they arrived they brought in enough equipment and manpower to get the job done right. It seemed very well coordinated and Jose was on the job site to make sure everything was done safely and right. My biggest surprise was just how many people he brought with him. It wasn't a two man operation by any means and I felt the quote was a bargain to what the scale of the operation was. I also appreciated the clean-up and the professionalism. I would definitely recommend him to anyone. read more

I am so happy with Jose's Tree Service! I received quick call backs and a quote. Their price was very fair to remove a tree grown into a chain link fence, several stumps and fence removal. They arrived on time, did a great job and cleaned up. I am so happy I hired Jose. Call them, you won't be sorry! read more

If you are looking for prompt and quality tree removal services at an affordable price, then call Jose's Tree Service. I called them after a violent storm left me with numerous tree limbs on my roof as well as a tree and a large branch which needed to be removed. They came out the same day I called to assess the situation and completed the work the following day. My husband and I were extremely pleased with their work. They really know what they are doing and didn't break the bank doing it. I will call them whenever we need any tree service in the future. read more

They did a good job for us and the price was right. Very friendly. Only negative was that one crew member was careless and broke some plants, but they did some repair. We would use them again. read more

They cut down our tree professionally and quickly. The price was reasonable. They left our yard cleaner than it was before they got there.

Prompt and professional. Jose was able to visit and provide a written estimate on the same day that I called. His son and crew were by two days later to remove a 4+ story tree... it took about 4 hours without stump removal. They cleaned both our yard and our neighbor's yard where the tree was hanging and did a great job! read more

Called Juan along with a few other tree services in Chicago. Juan came in with the lowest quote. Contacted him to go ahead with the tree removal and he said he would be out that day to begin. The tree was very large and a difficult removal. Juan and his guys had it done in 2 days, with no damage to anything. Very skilled tree removal crew. Took the tree down as well as ground down the stump. Would highly recommend them for city jobs. read more

I was in need of stumps from a burning bush that I had recently cut down removed so that I could replace it with a tree. I needed someone to remove the stomp since it proved to hard for me to get out. I checked yelp and came across Jose's Tree Service and decided to give them a call. I left a message with his answering service and he returned my call the same day. He came out the next day to give me an estimate and he noticed the other stumps from me cutting down three hedges and I added the removal of those also. His workers came out the next day removed the stumps and trash and cleaned up. After they left I went to the area where I wanted to plant my tree and as I was pushing and digging around in the dirt I found that there was still some of the stump or thick roots where I could not remove with the shovel and called to have them come back and try again. Jose called right away and his crew came back hacking out more of the sump/thick roots, they left again. I went back to do the same as before and still wasn't satisfied. Called again and left message for Jose to call me back. Did not hear from him so I called the next day and Jose came out and took care of my issue. I would like to say I would recommend his service and I was happy with the service I received and that he responded and took care of the issues that I had, now I can plant my tree. Thank you Jose and your crew. read more

Few years ago, Jose came for an estimate. Back then I wanted my tree in backyard to be trimmed. He gave me look like I am stupid. But he offered to cut down my trees. Both the backyard and front yard. I did not want to. They are big, gorgeous. Last year the front yard one suffered damage... I had to cut it down. I did not call Jose. Thanks god! The company I used did great job, for same price Jose offered. (Did not know back then that Jose - as some of the reviews suggests give estimate he does not honor few days later). As those guys cut the tree, other two neighbors came and asked for estimate. Yep, company took down at least three other trees down around. Jose, you could have to trim the tree, be fair fame player, and you would have four jobs in total. Your attitude cost you all of it. Imagine ... four trees you could have make so much money.... I am glad after all you gave me an attitude. The other guys were just super great read more
