Went to this store on a Sunday afternoon to get son a suit and everything needed for homecoming. One sales rep said "hello" when we went in but that was all. I believe we saw four different sales reps, the other three never even acknowledged us, didn't at least try to show us where we could start browsing for a suit. We waited at least 20 minutes but no one ever even attempted to help us. Went to other Men's Suit store in same area. They were very busy, but addressed us immediately. So we purchased everything there. Very disappointed in Jos A Banks. Lost our business for sure. read more

Been shopping at Jos Bank for many years. They consistently have high quality men's clothing and if you shop correctly, at very good prices. You really should never pay full retail here. They always run a special or sale. Also set up a Jos A Bank Account for accruing coupons. It pays off. read more

I have never been more disgusted with a store EVER. I heard they were having a clearance and recommended my boyfriend get a suit there. He walked in the door and the sales woman told my boyfriend that he was fat and should "lay off the burritos". This will NOT be the last JoS A Bank hears of this situation. I cannot believe a business would seriously make a potential customer feel bad for their weight. My boyfriend is a local actor/singer/dancer in the community theater scene in town and has NEVER had an issue with a costumer providing suits/dance pants/jeans, etc EVER. I AM DISGUSTED. read more

Like the other reviewer, the staff is clearly on commish. This is ok, but be remember that you are paid by the customer. Bought at this store two times and from their online store one time. They are not fans when you order online and have it delivered to the store. Never pay full price as they consistently have buy one get one sales. Check their .com store first. read more

Too many people write bad reviews for silly reasons so here is a real review. Went in with 20 minutes to closing and needed to find a shirt for a wedding we are attending tomorrow. (My fault for not planning better) We walked in and were greeted almost immediately by Morgan. He assured me there was plenty of time to find what we needed for the wedding. He kindly and quickly got my measurements and picked out a few great options. I wasn't planning on buying a tie but after he threw a couple together on the shirt I couldn't help myself. I was very hesitant to go into this beautiful shop. You see I needed help but had no money. I had googled; Where can I get measured when not renting from local vendor. I was directed to this store. This was my first time in a Jos. A. Bank, and I must say that I was a bit nervous regarding what my experience might be. In short, I could not have been more pleased! Vlad treated me like family and was with me every step. He was a sort of experienced father figure who knew all the right answers and fit me perfectly with 2 beautiful suits. Jake was also very helpful and was kind of like having a younger brother there to make sure I didn't leave looking like an old man! The experience was all around amazing! Top notch crew here! Total douchebags , there was four employees on the sales floor , no other customer except myself. I felt as if I was bothering them when I approached their huddle, they all looked at me I had to ask for help. What kind of retail operation is this , one of them begrudgingly and lamely eventually sort of helped me , really in a half assed manner. The store manager at this location is Vlad and he helped me is my search for a formal suit for an upcoming wedding. I did shop around so that I could properly compare price, quality, and service. No other place came close to providing the service I received from Vlad at Jos. A. Bank. Prices were comparable at the different locations I visited, and quality was kind of all over the map, but I received such good service from Vlad it was an easy decision for me. The custom tailoring was perfect and even the day I actually picked up the suit Vlad went out of his way to make sure the suit was exactly what I wanted and the fit was what I expected (it was). read more

I cannot express how great this place is and the staff. I am a part of a wedding party that was going there for a suit. I was not able to go with the party to get fitted for the suit. Greg, the manager went out of his way to make sure I was taken care of. Even though I wasn't able to get it done at the same time he made sure I wouldn't be left out for this event. I did not appreciate the hard sell on my 17-year old to purchase a tuxedo rather than rent, when we clearly indicated renting is what we were looking for and asked for more than once. They lost our business for this and I'll make sure none of the men in my family return for any future purchases. Very disappointed in the sales & service I received from Jos. A. Banks. I was looking for a slim fit suit but was sold a regular fit that they said they would tailor fit as a slim. After 3 weeks and numerous alterations the tailor was finally able to fit the suit to my satisfaction but the experience left me extremely dissatisfied with the company. I did contact their customer service and they were "disheartened" with how long it took to resolve this matter and agreed to refund me the cost of the alterations back on Aug 15th. My son needed a suit on short notice. We walked into Joseph A. Banks today and we completely ignored by the salesmen, who were chatting in the back. When we began walking toward them they moved to another corner of the store. I finally got the attention of one of them and told him our situation and he literally looked down his nose at me and said it would be at least 2 weeks. There were a few other people in the store that were serving themselves, too. We were not wearing good clothes, just our Saturday grubbies, but that's no reason to treat us like cockroaches. I will never recommend this store and I would not get a suit there if they gave it to me for free. read more

Ordered $196.00 pair of shoes from an ad on the web stating free shipping. The final statement showed a drop shipping charge of around $7.00. The money is not a big deal but the misleading advertisement is. I sent an e-mail requesting the approx. shipping or delivery date. No response. When we made a large purchase, our salesman was very accommodating. However, later we called to let them know that the sport coat was wrinkled when we got home. Instead of the usual friendliness, the salesman was defensive. After spending a lot of money, we thought the coat should at least be pressed. More than anything, I was bothered by his annoyance & lack of willingness to help after the sale. read more
