The time, care, and attention Arisa gave went far beyond what you would expect from a typical retail experience. She was not focused on simply selling products and moving on to the next customer. What I watched was someone who truly wanted to create an experience and make sure every want, expectation, and concern was heard. What stood out most was that it was not about finding the most products for my wife, but rather the right products. Arisa took the time to understand exactly what my wife was looking for and thoughtfully guided her toward a handful of items that truly fit her needs and style. From a male perspective, as someone who does not buy makeup but absolutely values great customer service, Arisa is exactly what you would hope for from a brand like MAC. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and made me feel like assisting customers was an inconvenience to them. The management was just as disappointing. I honestly questioned how some of these managers were placed in their positions because there was very little professionalism, accountability, or genuine concern for customers. The jewelry department was particularly frustrating. The customer service was terrible, and the overall experience left me feeling completely unwelcome. Customers should not be treated as though they are bothering employees or judged based on how much they may or may not spend. Especially the manager Trashy Tracy! A retail store should make customers feel respected, valued, and comfortable--not judged or looked down upon. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. Macy's Glendale seriously needs to address its customer service, management, cleanliness, organization, and overall treatment of customers. We came for a stove top Expresso maker that we saw online, but when we arrived in the store we realized that pick up in store does not actually mean it is in stock in the store. Since I was buying it for my daughter and we wanted it this week while I am here, we chose a different style. She found it online for a little better price.
