I went to this store on 5/27/18 to purchase a shirt for a wedding. A friend of mine is having all of his groomsmen purchase shirts from Jos. A. Bank for an upcoming wedding. I went in to the Exton, Pa store on what seemed to be a very busy Sunday afternoon. When I first walked into the store, I noticed that every sales person was busy helping other customers. I went straight to the front desk where another customer was checking out so I would be able to get help finding the correct shirt. As I was waiting, another customer came up behind me ready to check out, as well. A few minutes later, another employee came up to the front desk (his name is Michael) to assist customer's checking out. He explained to me and the customer behind me that he would be "right with us". As we both waited, this employee took the customer behind me first (I am assuming he did this since I did not have anything in my hands) even though I had been waiting about 10-15 minutes in line at this point. When the customer in front of me was finished, I spoke to the initial employee and explained what I needed. Unfortunately, I did not have the "group number" which would have made it easy for him to look up the shirt information in the system. I left to get the number and came back about 15 minutes later. When I came back, Michael was still at the front. I waited in line again. When it was my turn, Michael (the employee who wanted to check out the customer behind me instead of me first), asked if I was able to get the group number. I provided the group number to Michael in hopes that he would have the shirt I needed for the wedding. As Michael was looking up the shirt information, another customer came to the front to check out. Michael then asked if we "would mind if he checked them out first". This made me very frustrated because I am a paying customer and just as important as any other customer in the store, yet this is the second time Michael chose to put me on the back burner. Michael checked out the customer, which took about 10 minutes because "his computer system was slow", and then came back to help me. When Michael found out that I only needed a dress shirt and nothing else, he seemed to be annoyed that I was not going to buy anything else from the store. Michael fitted me for a dress shirt that took about 2 minutes and checked me out which took another 2 minutes. When I got home to try on the shirt, I noticed that the shirt had 2 small stains on the front lower portion of the shirt.... I will gladly drive out of my way to return this shirt to another location just so I do not have to deal with this location and Michael again. read more
