Jonecks new location on J street is perfect!! I was out walking the neighborhood and I passed by the Decor caught my eye. It is so vibrant and colorful and it looks so cozy. I had to go see. Todd and Renee welcome me like an old friend and I sat at the bar. Renee helps you discover all the flavors and the pallets of the wines that you never thought of and the prices of the glasses and bottles are wonderful. I love this place so much, I returned five times in a week and a half. I felt like Norm at cheers and everyone was so welcoming. You can order food and have it delivered for a small fee or you can get small bites from there. When I am back in Sacramento, it is a definite must go. My favorite drinks was the Moscato and the Bellini. I highly recommend!

The wine by the glass selection is extensive. Beer is available with styles you know but makers that will probably be new. A light food menu is available and shareable. Inside is bright with a bar top or comfortable seating throughout. Great if you want to get out for a glass of wine yourself or meet up with a group after work. Outdoor seating for 2 is out front. With more parking out back don't be discouraged if the spot on H are full. The service has always been welcoming and friendly. They can help with selection and recommendations based on your taste. If you enjoy wine and haven't been, you should stop in.

I stopped by Joneck Wine Bar in East Sacramento. I had a glass of wine there, and the place is very eclectic, colorful, and pretty. It's a good spot for a photo shoot and to enjoy some wine. I happened to be on a tour of East Sac and stopped in because I heard about this location on Good Day Sacramento. I'd love to go back for another experience when I have more time to sit and sip.

If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd be here at least twice a week. Alas, I don't live nearby. So, I'll have to settle for swinging by when I'm visiting my cousin. Thankfully she likes wine so this is a no-brainer. Great vibe! Love the decor.... Really nice variety and options for wine.... Lovely people and owner running the place. Great place to chill with a book and glass of wine.... or hang out and chat with friends. Definitely will be back.

It was my first time at Jonecks and I was impressed by how chic it looks inside and yet warm. The wine selections are really good. The food was delicious , charcuterie was well presented. But most of all the owners, husband and wife were really welcoming and provide excellent service. I definitely recommend this place for hangout, good appetizers and have an excellent wine.

This past Friday I was introduced to this amazing establishment by one of my friends. Heads up.. I did not take a lot of pics because I was so enamored in the moment of being in such a beautiful place. When I arrived immediately, someone came over to me to greet me to ask what I wanted. I was so elated by the immediateCustomer Service!. I selected a glass of Prosecco, which tasted, like heaven! The staff, the owners, the ambience, the whole energy of the establishment was more than I could ever expect. Please go visit this wine bar and experience for yourself.

Loved the variety of wines. We enjoyed the wine and wine cocktails. Beautiful ambience and the nicest owners who take special care of every detail. We will make this a new spot on our rotation. So happy we found them!

Finding a place with unique options to expand my wine experience/library and also getting good service is hard to find in Sacramento. What a comfy and patron-oriented establishment. While we were visiting they were hosting a fundraiser and it was lively and fun and we still felt very attended to. I'm confused by a reviewer on here mentioning not liking the unfamiliar options offered at Joneck's and contrasting it to the nook when the nook offers maybe a total of 9 wines and most of them are from Spain, so pretty limited in comparison. The wine options here are extensive per style and we tried 5 different wines on our visit and were pleased with them all. They also let us do small tasters of wines before committing to a full class which was a generous touch. We can't wait to see you again and share this experience with our friends.

I've been here twice now and I'm absolutely in love with this place. Hmmm....now how did I make my way to Jonecks? I was heading to McKinley Park and found myself at H & 56th & saw an inviting and friendly looking place with a whole bunch of chairs and some green looking wallpaper that gently whispered "you might want to find yourself here". I passed it by on my way to my destination and on my way home and was hoping that I'd find myself there sooner than later. Not even two days later, some guest came into town, and Joneck's was my first recommendation. I walked in and immediately knew that it was my type of place. Immediately friendly environment, it was already inviting to my eyes when driving past, the vibrant colors throughout, the playlist which is AMAZING, the portraits on the wall, the kindness of the host, Todd, and it was just great. The offerings starting with beverages to food were great. The food options are lite but your lite bite will be a good one. I'm not much of a drinker and Todd made a great recommendation based off of what I like and he hit the nail on the head. My favorite thing that I noticed on my first visit were portraits and shots of black people hanging on the wall. Why is this important: for a black woman who recently moved to Sacramento and beginning to find my communities...it meant a lot. The pictures were subtle, not in your face, but a hint that Joneck's might not just be serving great wine to the community but might also be "apart of my community" too. Come to find out after a few convos with Todd that day, seeing the photos, looking up the story of Joneck's and learning that I was also supporting the business of a black woman, her husband, and fellow Bay Area locals. It meant a lot. On my 2nd time around I brought my sister with me and it was just as lovely as the first. I had the opportunity to meet Ms. Renee, have more conversations with Todd and see how these two pull off treating customers well & right while helping people find community within their doors. This is a great place. Don't think twice and just find yourself within their doors. It just might be the community you needed to find. Thanks Jonecks (Todd & Renee) & Happy Belated Jonecks Anniversary

This hidden gem offers an experience that's unlike anything else in the city. The setup is simple but charming: you literally walk up to a window and order your wine. I believe it's one ring for white, two for red, and three or four for sparkling--don't quote me on that, but it adds a playful, old-world vibe that makes the whole experience memorable. The Wine Window is affordable, laid-back, and surprisingly quaint. It's the kind of place where the ambiance, the people, and the energy make it feel more like an experience within an experience--not just a drink stop. I had the chance to chat with John, the owner, who shared a bit of the backstory. He previously owned a full wine room nearby, but when the pandemic hit, he had to pivot. Instead of calling it quits, he leaned into a smaller, more intimate concept inspired by wine windows in Europe. Honestly, I think the scale makes it even better. The outdoor patio is perfect for relaxing with a glass of wine while people-watching on L Street, and yes, there's even a restroom available (a rare but very appreciated amenity for this type of setup). If you find yourself downtown, do yourself a favor--swing by The Wine Window, have a chat with John, and enjoy a unique Sacramento experience.
