I have been going here for years and have never been so disappointed in my experience. I cannot remember the nail techs name; however, I have never seen her before. First off, she clipped my cuticle too much and made me bleed on my left pinky. Secondly, she could not figure out to "ombré" the sparkles on my nails; she had to wipe and redo it 5 times and it still just looks like a blob. Lastly, she did an express manicure when I was set for a signature manicure (her coworker had to make sure I was not charged extra). The paint is uneven and bumpy. Theres paint on my cuticle, and parts of my fingers. Theres random sparkles on fingers they are not supposed to be on. There's "bubbles" on my thumb. Disappointing Pricing & Inconsistent Service I took my daughter here for a quick treat before our vacation and booked us both for the express pedicure, which is clearly advertised as $30 for 30 minutes. The experience left me with mixed feelings. My daughter's pedicure was very underwhelming. The technician spent less than 20 minutes with her, barely said a word the entire time, and while the job was okay, it certainly didn't feel like $30 worth of time or attention--let alone the over $50 we were charged for it. My own pedicure was better. The technician was kind, gentle (especially with my broken toe), and did a nice job overall. She spent about 25 minutes, including polish removal, and was friendly and attentive. I appreciated her effort. But what really left a bad impression was the final bill--over $100 for two "express" pedicures. There was no explanation given, and I still don't understand how that math adds up. Bottom line: While my experience was fine, my daughter's wasn't worth it, and the unexplained pricing left a sour taste. I won't be returning. read more

First, it's a beautiful place. They did a great job making it look fancy. However, the only thing fancy were their prices. Went to get a Pedicure, very basic. Color selection was very limited to the "jkns " makes me think cheap quality. No liners in the basin. Lady said they have to clean and barbrasol them after each use. I watch them "clean and sanitize" made me want to get up and leave. Lady was very nice and not talkative, I love that! Used paper towel inbetween toes instead of actual toe separators. How cheap can you be!! No lotion or leg massage, just a quick heal scrub. Now my feet are dry, and the quality of painting is sub par. I was booked for a signature manicure. I was asked if I wanted a hand massage. I thought it was automatically a given that they give the hand/ arm massage and felt the technician didn't want to do one that's why she asked. I was then asked if I wanted gel or regular polish. I was never told gel polish was included, so I opted to regular polish because I didnt want to be charged more. I do really like the salon, it's beautiful inside and they have lots of colors to choose from. Although it looks nice it's very deceiving for multiple reasons. 1. I had an appointment scheduled for a while and then a day before it, it got canceled and I couldn't get in for another week or two which I thought was ridiculous because if I were to cancel I would not get my money back. 2. One time came in for my acrylic balance and the girl took 3 hrs and 30 minutes to do it (and I didn't need any replacement). Not to mention she was being a little nasty. It took about 3 hrs for her to fix up nails and 30 mins to paint them, so she claimed she didn't have enough time to do my idea. If I'm 60-70$ for my nails I should be able to choose what I want. Been going here for 3 years but lately the increased their prices. I got charged $67 for a gel manicure. When I asked why so much they said it's because I had a higher level technician. However I did not request the higher level. They refunded the difference. But come on, $67 for a manicure! No acrylics, just gel. It used to be $45 and I thought that was pricey. My friend told the girl she didn't like something but she said it would take too long to fix it. My first visit was on 6/22/23, I received a flex-gel set. By the end of the day on 6/30/23, 2 of the nails had popped off and 3 others had began to lift off of my nail beds. I just wanted the nails fixed because it looked horrible and I was embarrassed with them. I was originally told that they should last 3-4 weeks. I called the next morning on 7/1/23 to get the nails fixed. I was told that the soonest I could be scheduled was 7/3/23. By the time of my appointment, surprise! Another nail had popped off. This time, a portion of my actual nail came with it. At this point I just wanted the flex set removed and get polish on my nails, since they were partially destroyed from some of the flex-gel popping off without proper removal. At the time of my appointment, I asked the lady to take the flex-gel off as I was overly disappointed with them and to just paint my nails with some polish to hopefully hide some of the damage on my nails. Not only was I charged for the polish (which I feel should have been complimentary after my experience) but I also noticed upon leaving that one of my hands was missing the shiny topcoat. When I walked back in, the lady at the front desk was pretty rude. She said that nobody would be able to add a topcoat to my other hand and to wait for a call from the manager by 7/5/23. I went yesterday for a manicure and a pedicure without polish. The reason being I just had a total right knee replacement and didn't want my right leg touched with any chemicals. There was nothing wrong with my left leg or foot. I was disappointed in the pedicure. Other salons use a hot towel after putting on lotion nothing like that was offered. Because I did not wanna polish on my toes I was told I was having a sport pedicure. What is a sports pedicure? As to a manicure all I got was my nails trimmed filed and some cuticle oil. Never was my hands soaked in warm water nor was any lotion placed on my hands or arm massaged. I asked for a manicure just not any polish? Don't you receive a full manicure it seems I was charged for one but I didn't get one. Not even my nails buffed. Just to update my previous review: While this was still the worst mani/pedi of my entire life, I was impressed with the salon's follow up on my review. The owner of the salon, Vinh, contacted me to apologize and really went above and beyond any interaction I've had with a business prior. He said he was disappointed in knowing such poor quality work occurred at his salon, and he spoke with the technician as well as the rest of the team about my experience. The technician blamed the dryer, which was totally not true because it was on my toes too. However, Vinh said they would be testing the nail polish, the nail dryers, and everything in between to ensure it doesn't happen again. He also refunded me the full amount. Obviously, this doesn't change how terrible my nails were, and it doesn't give me back the time I wasted having to go to two salons to have it done right, but it says something about their professionalism to counter the lack thereof when I was at the salon. read more

Honestly surprised to see many negative reviews! I've been coming here for years and have always had a very pleasant experience. It isn't cheap, but it's a nice treat your self experience. I would not recommend a manicure. The regular polish I received was not dry after 9 hours, and was ruined while I slept. I went back the next day and was told it takes their polish 24 hours to cure. I booked pedicure appointments for myself and 3 friends. I was charged $10 more than my friends. When I asked why, I was told by the receptionist that I had a level 2 technician that cost $10 more than a level 1 technician. I was not informed about price differences when I booked the appointments on the phone. When I continued to question about the price difference the receptionist told me it was posted on the website. Hi everyone- let me start by saying i would not recommend this place. To look at it was very pretty with nice chairs, pillows, newly renovated area. i booked two deluxe pedicures. The nail tech that did pedicure did not do half of the things on the description- she basically cut my nails and applied some lotion to my legs ( certainly not worth the 63 dollars). The nail polish we selected was opi infinite shine. Before the application we asked the staff if this was regular polish or if it required additional steps. The tech told us is was just regular polish. After application the nail polish never dried and remained wet the next day. We went to the salon the following day to inform them of our smudged polish that still had not dried. We were told with this polish there is a special base coat and top coat for 5 dollars extra- we were not told of any of this the day of our pedicure. As per the opi company this polish requires a special top coat, base coat and should be applied near outdoor light to dry. Either the staff is not properly trained on this polish or they just don't care. This pedicure has caused me more work bc now i have to remove this mess and get another pedicure. This was a complete waste of money- please do not waste your money here. read more

I had a pedicure at the Rossford salon with my daughter today which was a gift to me, however I was highly dissappointed in the results. We had booked the appointment to do together but upon arrival we were told that our time had not only been pushed back 15 minutes (no call) but they then took my daughter first and mine began 1/2 hour later. The actual pedicure was fine but once finished and I was ready to go under the dryer, I commented to my tech that it didn't look as though my big toe had polish on the the very end. She proceeded to put another clear coat on my big toe and several others. I sat with them under the dryer, paid and left only to see once I arrived home how smeared several of the toes were and still NO polish on the tip of my big toe. I have visited Jonathon Khoi many times for pedicures and haven't had any issues, until my visit two weeks ago. I scheduled a mani/pedi 3-4 months in advance for my wedding and had the worst experience of my life. To start the girl doing my pedicure, did not speak to me at all. Not a peep. She then began to clip my toenails without asking how short I wanted them or what shape. I had to ask her numerous times to clean and clip areas that very clearly needed it. After having to ask at least 4-5 times for things to clipped, cleaned, and scrubbed she finally painted my nails- I chose red as I always do so I am very familiar with some difficulties this may cause. She left polish all over crevices and sides of my toe, which I had to ask her to remove, even then she missed spots and I removed them myself while still in the salon. After she polished I noticed a dark edge in the crevice of my toe and had to ask her to take care of that, since the polish was wet it made an even bigger mess. -I wish that was the worst of it- The same girl did my gel manicure. Again she never ask for the shape, just started filing away. I had to interrupt her immediately to specify what shape. After filing my nails she never once cleaned under them until I asked. I then had to ask her to use the file to remove the residual thin nail left behind. She insisted I wash my hands with soap, anytime I've ever had a gel manicure I was specifically told not to use soap. Once she completed the polish there was bumps, air bubbles, and inconsistent layers of polish. She left behind a ton of skin and cuticle. I would mention something throughout the manicure and she kept saying it was fine. When I went up to check out I explained to the girls and showed them the situation. They apologized but insisted there was nothing they could do, that I could possibly come back tomorrow. I explained that I was getting married in 2 days and honestly had no time. They offered to fix what they could- the gel was so bad the girl fixing my nails had to remove it and repolish. My appointment was at 11:15 and I didn't leave until 2:30. Finally they offered $5 off- upon insisting they call the manager she finally landed on $15 off- All I can say is I will never go back to Jonathan Khoi, I used to highly recommend them and never will again. Getting your nails done, bride or not, you should be able to sit back and enjoy yourself. Not have to babysit. I could have done my nails better myself. read more

Usually it's pretty good but yesterday was a terrible experience. My manicurist was very aggressive with cuticle remover and cut one of my fingers. No apology was offered and today 3 more fingers are sore from her overzealous trimming. I chose a light pink polish that is spotty and sloppily out on. Half way through the manicure the manager let her know they needed her to travel to the Maumee store and she started tearing up and almost crying during the service because of this. This place has no respect for anyones time. They think nothing of changing appointments on people after they are set. They tell you that they have tried to call you to notify you, but they haven't. I had an appointment for 8am for a manicure and pedicure. I scheduled it for the only day off I had this week and drove 40 minutes to get there. When I arrived, I was the only person there. They had switched my appointment time after it was made "because the person who was supposed to do it took the day off". How nice. They claimed they "couldn't fit me in at my scheduled time". They claimed to have tried to call me but after checking my phone, they never did. Then a half hour after I left, they had the nerve to call and want to know if I wanted the rescheduled appointment. This wasn't my first problem with them, but will be the last time I give them the chance to treat me like crap. read more

Can't recommend... nice facility.. not great service. Had a manicure .. sort of... didn't soak hands... clipped cuticles in three places to short makingg them bleed and sore... put on polish.. but only 1 coat....started peeling the next day... went back and they threw another coat on... same thing again... peeled off... Went here for the first time yesterday and was pleased with my experience from start to finish. Everyone was friendly and attentive and the place is attractive and very clean. I got a gel polish change for about the same price I've paid anywhere else but feel I got more bang for my buck as this place took off my old polish, trimmed my cuticles, gave me an accent nail and oiled my cuticles all for the price I paid for literally just polish at the place I used to go. Sadly I can no longer recommend this salon due to their horrendous customer service. I had a gel manicure appointment scheduled for 6pm on a Friday and ended up sitting there until 6:45 before my manicure was started. 45 minutes! The receptionist was very rude to me, told me it was my fault since I didn't tell them I had already taken my gel off and wouldn't need to soak (which only takes 5-10 minutes by the way), and did not offer me anything to drink while I waited. There were other techs standing around doing nothing but everyone ignored me. Zero apologies for the wait or inconvenience. Finally, after 45 minutes I was brought back. Once again, no word of apology from my tech - her excuse was that "everyone was stressed and distracted about going to Las Vegas." I don't know how or why that should have any effect on them being polite or processing my appointment on time. By this point, I was very frustrated. I had plans that evening and this caused me to be extremely late. Upon checking out, I was not offered an apology or a discount of any kind for my frustration and inconvenience. I asked how I can get in contact with the owner to discuss my concern and was told that they don't have contact information for him but that I could send an email through the website. The receptionist was again rude throughout the experience. I left very disappointed. The worst part was that I emailed the salon TWICE and received no response at all. The rudest staff I have ever encountered... Overall, the manicure itself was below standard. The tech missed polish on one corner of my nail - which I had to point out myself and ask her to fix. Part of the thumbnail polish started to peel up within 2 hours of the appointment. 10/10 would NOT go back. read more

Pretty good choice of colors. Very clean and good ambiance. Great customer service. They are very time obsessive. If I make an appt yesterday for today or tomorrow and I break a nail after the appt was made, they say flat out no we won't do a fix or they give you a bs line about making sure you call next time. A good nail tech should be able to do an acrylic in like 3 min. If that is a huge time consumer, thats a problem. That is one of the reasons I took a break from there. read more
