She even offered to do a touch up wax in a few days for the stragglers which I had never been offered before. She was quick yet took her time where it mattered. I live in the neighborhood and was tired of driving 45 minutes to get my hair done. I keep my hair bright platinum blonde. The salon itself is locally owned, clean, comfortable and has a great neighborhood vibe. They offer a ton of services including massage, headspa, nail services and more. I couldn't be happier with Leah. A few of the other stylists can be a bit overbearing- but I think they are just trying to "help" a less experiences stylist. Because she's fresh to the game she has a very different approach to her clients. I know my hair. I hate when I go to a new "experienced" stylist and they assume they know how to lift and tone my hair. They refuse to listen, and I either leave with purple gray hair or orange tiger stripes. Leah listens, and actually got the specific charcoal bleach that has been a godsend for my course, curly, stubborn hard to lift hair. If you want a high-end quality salon experience without the high-end quality salon price, She is a great way to get in and get the same experience without the insane price tag. I tried beauty bar a few years ago and was a bit underwhelmed with the experience and overwhelmed at the price. I'm so glad I came back after seeing her work on some local community sites and contacting her on FB. She got me in quickly and this is my third trip back. She wipes me down with alcohol swabs to satisfy my inner germaphobe before administering my favorite poison (Botox, not actual poison, though let's be real, it kind of is). She's precise without being in a rush, presses on the injection sites to reduce any instant sting, and hasn't hit a nerve (figuratively or literally) once. Best of all?
