I am a regular customer and have been for abt 2 yrs. I schedule abt every 3-4 wks for a gel nail balance. I always schedule with Rose. She has to be the best nail tech I have ever been to. She is so sweet and polite. Her style of nails is more natural looking and I get compliments on mine all the time. The finished nail is not thick and fake looking, but rather like a real natural nail. My own natural nails have always been thin and break easily so getting a gel overlay on them allows my real nail to grow out. The gel nail is better for me than the standard acryllic. I think it allows for a thinner nail while maintaining strength. The salon is always clean and the staff is always attentive and pleasant. I've had pedicures here as well and have been very pleased as well. I would highly recommend QQ Nail to anyone. read more

Wish they would just be honest about their wait times. I went in and was told an hour to an hour and a half wait. After 2 hours of waiting I asked how much longer and they told me another 45 mins. about 10-15 mins before I asked how much longer someone else walked in and they told her a half hour. If that were the case I should've only had 20 mins to wait when I asked. They do great work but they will jip you on wait times a 3 hour wait is ridiculous when I was initially told an hour to an hour and a half. read more

I came in for a gel manicure. The gel application is very thin. It is lifting and tearing 5 days after having my nails done.

Coming from Chicago, nail prices seem high everywhere else! I needed a quick pedicure and this place was convenient, so I gave it a shot. I got right in and the service was good, they were not rough and fairly thorough which is always good. They had several nail color selections and they do a nice foot/leg rub. For $28 it was worth it, but you won't catch me paying thy much in Chicago!! read more

This was probably the worst pedicure I've ever had. The only reason why I am giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the guy doing my nails was very nice. Later when I had to come back to have them redone, the woman who did it was very accommodating and pleasant. Unfortunately that's where the positive review ends. It is clear the guy doing nails here has no business in this field. For some reason he couldn't apply a coat of nail polish without smudging it. I kept telling him he was making it too thick. He kept wiping off the polish and recoating and each time it would smudge. There wasn't enough polish in the bottle so he was adding in some clear liquid to it. What should have been a quick in and out pedicure ended up taking over an hour. Eventually he had to get another worker to take over. The second guy was also having trouble painting my nails without smudging. I think the issue was the polish but I don't think they had another bottle. I went home and the next day the nails unsurprisingly smudged so I had to come in and have them redo it. The lady who did my nails applied like 3 coats of polish which made it look really thick but her attempt at least didn't lead to a smudge . Won't ever come here again. read more

I went after going to another salon for a set of nails. The first place was not to my liking so they took time to fix what I didn't like. Also color does not have to be off before you go in like a lot of nail places and when she told me price when I was done for a fill was pleasantly surprised. QQ Nails was recommended by my sister in law and I will be returning, even did my nails from a picture that I found. Will recommend even drive 35 minutes when we have one in our town. I had the absolute best experience at this salon! The technician was very friendly and VERY talented. She did an absolute FABULOUS job on my new full set of pink and whites. I have been to many salons and have never had them look this good! I originally chose this salon because of it's excellent reviews and I was not disappointed. Average color selection. If you bring your own color they would not let you use it which is not posted anywhere in the salon. The owner will tell you to choose they color or leave. And that is after you have been waiting an hour and a half. Poor customer service. To top it off - place is not clean, going to report them to The Ohio State Cosmetology and Barber Board. read more

Wanted to get a full set. Told me it was $35, no big deal. Then was told to get gel polish was $20 extra. I could buy the whole bottle of polish for that. Then was told it was an additional $7 to have the nails shaped the way I liked. Just kept adding on prices. Which I understand to a degree , but $27 in extras ?? That cost almost as much as the full set? Doesn't make sense. read more

I made a yelp account just to let people know how rude and unprofessional this place has become. I have been coming here for years and told everyone about it and any time I would go I would always have 2-3 ppl with me getting service done. On 7/15/20 I had a scheduled appointment for 10 am they opened at 10 am I arrived 10 mins later to give them time to open and get set up. There was two ppl who walked in right before me and they took them over a scheduled appointment I had booked a week in advance smh. I could go on what a friend of mine said about how Nick starts doing nails and goes to someone else and someone else finishes your nails even after you request them smh. Last time I went I set up an appointment again and requested someone and never got them and we always tip well I will NOT be back and neither will my people Nick I hope you see this you done messed up and lost all our business. read more

Don't waste your money. It was $80.06 for a LOUSY shellac manicure and signature pedicure. The workers are rude and speak their own language. Prices aren't posted anywhere in the salon, and vary each time. Ive been here three times for convenience, but it has gotten progressively worse. I've never had such a bad shellac manicure like I did at this place. He didn't even file my nails straight. The red shellac was all over my cuticles and chipped a few days later because he put it on so thick and uneven. Go to a real salon for a good mani/pedi. This place is pathetic! read more

My favorite nail salon! I have only ever gotten pedicures, they are a great price at $28. The staff is friendly and the service is great. I was a semi regular client to get pedicures here with a girlfriend of mine and they were always good. Because of this, I decided to get a balance on my nails in addition to the pedicure this past Sunday, 7/23. The salon opens at 11 and I arrived at 10:55 with 7 people on the list ahead of me. I waited 90 minutes to get an available technician. She gave me a good pedicure and was mostly quiet (this is typical) but friendly enough. After the pedicure was over, she directed me to her spot to do my nails. To be fair, they weren't in the best shape: two had completely fallen off and a couple were moderately lifted somewhat, but still definitely attached to my natural nails. This technician wanted to take the easy, quick way of removing these nails by jamming another artificial tip between the acrylic and natural nails to remove them, which is extremely painful. I mentioned several times how much she was hurting me and she was extremely rude and told me, 'it not hurt so bad. You need let me get these off and if not, you can wait 30m to let them soak off for extra money.' I'm not sure if any of you have had nails removed this way, but I can't for the life of me understand why she'd continue to rip them off, taking layers of my (already thin) natural nails off in this way. It was all I could do not to cry out in pain. My whole body was shaking and I kept telling her how bad it hurt. Each time I told her, she got even more snippy with me and kept going. Once she got them all off, my natural nails looked just awful, were throbbing in pain and I questioned whether it was safe to even put another set on with my natural nails in such bad shape. She gave me a nasty look and said, 'I no know what you mean by safe. It's ok, we put more on.' And kept going. The new set she applied in a crappy, quick way and gave me uneven, misshaped nails that I'm completely disappointed with. When I told her they were too long, she gave me attitude. When I told her the shape was off, she told me,'they good' even though they're not and I'm unhappy. I paid the $98 she charged me, tipped her $20 and left. I will NEVER return and wouldn't recommend that anyone ever go to this shop. They make you feel like you're bothering them and are a nuisance if you want the services you're paying for done well. I'm just sick about this and wanted to write this review in hopes that no one else ever goes through such a nightmare. read more

They do a great job on nails, there's no denying that. But (and it's a big but) it's so busy and only 3 people working. They lie to you about how long the wait will be and good luck scheduling an appointment! They don't take same day appointments so forget coming back later (you know the logical thing would be to sign in and then do some errands...) Nope! They won't hold your place. And they don't schedule appointments on Friday or Saturday so there goes your weekend or special event nail plans. Finally, when I did manage to call and actually confirm an appointment, I showed up just to find out that according to the woman I talked to "I hadn't called to make an appointment". They claimed I didn't have an appointment at all and I had to wait well over an hour for a pedicure. I even showed them in my cell phone the time and number I had called and they still refused to offer me service without waiting. My time is extremely precious (like most peoples) because between work, kids, and responsibilities there is so little time left for just "me" time. With that in mind, there are plenty of places that do great nails AND understand how important time is. If you're attempting to time manage and enjoy yourself while have manicure/pedicure services done I suggest you go to one of those places instead. read more
