I went to this salon for the first time on Tuesday, April 1, 2025 for a pedicure. The young woman that did the pedicure cut my big toe, nicked the big toe on the other foot and scrubbed the heels so hard that they are also split and I can not walk without a limp. I have not been able to put a shoe on the left foot because of the cut on the big toe [which is still bleeding when I take bandages off to clean] and have been hoping it would start to heal but so far no luck. It is hard to sleep because blanket hits the bandaged foot and hurts enough to wake me up. I was telling her through most of the pedicure to go "easy" over and over but should have gotten up and left. $53 plus tip later and I can't put a shoe on or walk on my feet without pain. He was sweet and nice, however when I asked if he could do ombré he said "Yes no problem" I said okay I want it in these two GEL colors "okay yes no problem" he says. It was a major problem Paul.Not once did you suggest "dip better for ombré"!I wish I would've taken a pic right then and there.Your shaping is good I give you that Paul but if you're not able or have the skill to do what a customer wants fine! Let me talk to the next technician. All the black bumps are hair stuck in my nails. Such a terrible job. Again shape is better than what I had but your color sucked. I have been patronizing Prive for a few years, requesting the same technician, who was amazing. She is no longer there and the current technicians are not the quality I was used to. The past three gel manicures started chipping or warping after 48 hours. Due to my work schedule, I could not come back within the one week grace period - eight days instead and was told they could not make the repair without charging. I was made to feel it was my fault and I should request a "dip" manicure instead, which would last longer. Gel should last more than 48 hours. I was then told by one of the employees that some of the techs are new and use "old" gel, which does not adhere as well as it should. I asked for a discounted color change without success. I told them they lost a very good customer over a $32 gel manicure. I do not recommend - buyer beware. read more

Came in for a pedicure and an acrylic full set. Only had to wait about 30 minutes which isn't terrible for a walk in. My pedicure was great and looks awesome but, my acrylics are another story. The lengths are all uneven, all different shapes, my hands were dusty as hell until she put this weird oil on me and had me rinse my hands which just made them oily, the undersides of all my nails still had remnants, and the polish looks like garbage. I am not typically one to post negative reviews or reviews at all but this needs to be addressed. The girl also had me pay prior to her finishing which I thought was weird but, now I can see why as the nail were shit. Money wasted I guess. Will definitely not be back and will definitely tell everyone about my experience. There is a photo for reference of what I wanted. I typically go to Venetian at Levis Commons, but really wanted gel on my toes, so tried this out. I prefer the layout here. The pedi chairs were a little more sectioned off, which I enjoyed. I had my five year old son with me and they were super sweet to him and let him sit next to me and get a massage while I got my toes done. I think my toes look fabulous! The GUY who did them (really wish I had gotten his name!) Was very kind and did a great job. It felt like the massage part lasted forever. Which I was good with! ;) He did use the cuticle oil to do my leg massage, which another review had complained about. Maybe I'm just not that particular. It didn't bother me a bit. The first time I went there, it was amazing. My nails were the exact picture it looked like. So, I went again hoping for the same result. Big mistake! My nails weren't horrible, but I asked for a simple french tip with white in between the french tip. Couldn't even make a decent french tip. This was a "give it a second chance" visit. The first time I came I had a not-so-great manicure but the place inside is so nice I thought it had to be a fluke. I came back today with several members of my family hoping for a better experience. I called this morning to ask about prices (as there are none listed on the website - pet peeve for me) and specifically asked the cost of a gel manicure and a dip manicure. I was told $35 for gel manicure and $30 for dip manicure. I attempted to book an appointment but was told they do not offer weekend appointments, walk ins only. No issue. My family arrived around 5pm and we were a group of 4:45 so we anticipated a wait, they told us 45 min-1 hour. They did let us leave a number so we could grab something to eat while we waited which was nice and appreciated. We were called at 5:45 within the time frame, again so far so good. They did the pedicures first, they asked spa ($35) or signature ($43). I opted for the signature thinking it would be worth it but should have asked, the only difference was a sugar scrub for your calves which in my opinion was not worth the extra $8. The pedicure was good and the technician was great. I was hopeful for a better manicure experience! However, my manicure was completed by a different person and unfortunately wasn't a great experience. She was clearly done with the week and was very distracted throughout my manicure. It was done rather haphazardly and very quickly. In addition, there was no filing, no clean up of the dip powder left around my nails, and no lotion applied or massage. My technician told me to dry my nails and I thought she was coming back to finish them but finally came back with her sunglasses on her head, phone in hand, and purse on her shoulder clearly ready to leave. I asked her and she threw some cuticle oil on my hands and brushed stuff off without even sitting down. My total cost at the end was $87 which I'm still struggling with... I asked how it was $87 and was told dip manicures were $40. I explained I was told $30 on the phone and was dismissed by saying that it was a mistake. Even without the issues in my manicure, I felt it was overpriced for the services I received. Those are definitely spa prices and I did not feel relaxed or pampered throughout my time. I did say to the technician and the receptionist that I wasn't happy with the polish all over my hands, and was dismissed both times that it would come off in a few days. I got navy blue polish and would prefer to not have navy blue polish on my fingers at work. The rest of my family had varied experiences - my sister had a great gel manicure which included a massage. My grandmother had a good experience and her manicure also included lotion/massage. My mom has a dip manicure that was completely different than mine - hers included filing, clean up, and a UV coat on top - all for the same price I paid. My aunt had to get her dip manicure completed again as when she was watching her hands we noticed that three fingers on each were missing polish in the upper fourth of her nails - the technician didn't notice until we posted it and she was still charged full price. The benefits for the salon are that it is conveniently located for the area and with good hours. The pedicure was nice and I think if I had stuck with the $35 spa manicure I'd be happier. If you're in a situation and need a quick fix/job, or are looking for evening appointments, this is an option but if you're looking for a "treat yourself" spa time or a lasting manicure, I'd recommend elsewhere. read more

My very first time going to Prive ... I had one nail to be replaced ... I got it done, 2 days later my nail is already lifting. (mind you I had only got that ONE nail done there) ... and that ONE nail is already lifting my full set was done else where ... the two days of I go to get a full balance...I get there to get a balance I was told about a 15 minutes Wait that she was in the back cleaning her tools supposedly so about 10-15 minutes later I asked once again how much longer and she's like follow me she sits me at my desk and I'll wait another 20 by then it's been over an hour that I've been waiting... the girl that is going to be doing my balance comes over and says give me a second I'm going to go clean my tools ... by this time I'm so mad I had arrived there at 3 and it was already 4 . And she lied to me about the lady cleaning her tools when she was doing a pedicure the whole time! ... She starts working on my nails around 4:30 I didn't leave until 6. The pedicure was fine, except for the fact that she cut my toenail too short and weird, and I ended up eventually having to deal with a ingrown toenail!! The manicure was terrible though. I got an acrylic full-set and my nails were very uneven, thick, and just looked terrible. The rest of the paint chipped off about 4 days after it was done. Also had a problem while we were there and addressed the "manager" about it so she could fix my nails. She gave the biggest attitude, and "fixed" them, but they still were not what I wanted. Girlfriend went to get her nails done as she knows I'm proposing sometime on an upcoming vacation and 6/10 of her nails were messed up before she even got home. She was upset when they told her they charge her full price again to fix them so being a good boyfriend I called to try and sort it out because a business not guaranteeing their work for even an hour afterwards didn't sound right to me. When I called I immediately got put on hold which I get business are busy but when I asked about my girlfriends nails the woman laughed at me and said they were fine when she left, she also said it was my gfs fault because they weren't dry yet but she had sat there with her hands in a dryer for 25 minutes. Obviously I'm a guy and don't get my nails done but my Gf gets them done at least twice a month and was really upset and the customer service response was abhorrent. We happened upon this place when traveling for my husband's work. My girls and I were desperately needing some tending to our feet having been away for nearly two months from our usual bi-monthly nail services. Upon seeing this place in a beautiful well manicured outdoor mail it seemed like a good bet. Luxurious looking chairs with beautiful foot basins and a lit up ceiling of clouds down the center seemed to say "Get ready to luxuriate in the pleasures of the polish and wile away a couple of glorious hours being treated like a queen and her two princesses." After all I mean it had a lighted cloud ceiling it HAD to be good! We each requested the deluxe pedicure selected our gel polish colors and awaited our summons on the little round stools in the entryway. A short 20min later a smiling young woman called our names and ushered us to our own private "throne room" where we settled in expectantly. Sadly this is where the glory of our tale ends. Two of the chairs the massage didn't work and on mine it had to be adjusted every 5 min to not rub the same section with the same motion indefinitely) Our feet were VERY briefly dipped into the swirling blue water below before being hauled out and set to work on. The girls' feet hardly touched the water which is often their favorite part next to the bejeweled looking toes they return home with. There was no time for our callouses (which were prevalent, remember the two month hiatus I spoke of before? Yeah gross!) to soften to facilitate the scrubbing away of them. The man doing my cut my big toe on the one foot THREE TIMES and then cut another to on the other foot TWICE! Ok I am a tough old boot so I soldiered on. No sooner had he scrubbed off my decaying polish and barely rinsing my feet he promptly drained my water and set to painting my toenails....when I asked about treating my callouses he said he does that AFTER polish. This is a new concept for me as polish has always (and I go twice a month and have been all over the country) been last but what do I know?!? So after the polish goes on he then works on my callouses for maybe 30seconds before slapping some hot towels on for again perhaps 30 seconds and rubbing some oil in just long enough for it to absorb. Bam I am done. The girls got even less luxurious treatment which granted they are 5 and 7 so hardly need it and are usually much cheaper so I don't expect it. I also got a manicure which was equally unimpressive (I have done better at home) but alas all of our toes look pretty and my nails are groomed and looking better so we proceed to checkout and here is where it gets really awesome. $177 PLUS TIP which is only in cash for the 40min experience. The owner at the desk was also extremely rude when I went to pay. We were charged full adult rate for the two girls who had less than half the already short time and the price of a full manicure for one with no massage and no polish. Now this is compared to my home salon which spends more than an hour just on the pedicure and includes a hot stone massage and gel soak for me and the girls are given a more brief version for less than half the price. This service at home (and in other salons around the nation) is about $120 tip included for MUCH MUCH better service. You are getting a Walmart level pedicure for a luxurious spa price from a nail tech who simply wants you to be done and leave. BOTTOM LINE: You are paying dearly for the pleasure of the light up cloud ceiling. Go somewhere ANYWHERE else. Also they were not at all busy the day we went which was a weekday so no excuse for the crap service. How they stay in business is beyond me. Trust the 1-2 star reviews and don't go here. I only gave two stars because our polish did look nice at the end even if we still had callouses and ashy skin when we left. read more

Don't do any upgrades! We did the upgraded pedicure, and the only difference was the cost. The brochure indicated lavender scrub and other special extras with the upgrade. Instead, we got the same crappy orange scrub that is standard. Also, the shellac application leaves much to be desired. The tech was messy and got shellac all along the sides of my nail beds, so afterwards, she took a file to smooth it down. After two days, it began peeling on the sides and by day three, it was off. So much for shellac lasting two weeks. The receptionist Leah is rude, and the Asian man who appears to be the owner, walks around and never even smiles, let alone say hello. They are such amateurs here. I should also mention it was $132 for two pedicures, 1 shellac mani and 1 regular mani. read more

The past 2 times I went they told me it was a 45 minute wait and it ended up being an hour and a half. On July 1 I went it and got dip powder on my nails and the receptionist came over and realized the woman had no idea what she was doing. One of the managers tried to fix my nails but ended up making them extremely thick and chunky. I was there for over 3 hours and they still charged me!! I called back and told them I was not satisfied and they offered me a gift card for a gel polish change. I came back the following week to get them redone and the nail tech commented how thick they were and told me the woman who did my nails was too old and shouldn't be working. She decided not to soak them off and used the drill and cut my skin 3 times. She said she was cutting people all day while my fingers were bleeding. The gel polish came off quickly and left my nails so thin, uneven, and very sensitive still 3 weeks later. Before this I had very strong nails and not they keep breaking. I got there, and was told that I would need to wait an additional 30 minutes. What exactly is the point of booking an appointment if the service isn't begun at the scheduled time? They were extremely understaffed, and visibly annoyed which i understand. I also noticed that proper sanitation procedures really weren't being performed at the manicure stations.
