So this should speak for itself: when I was home and saw my regular nail tech for a fill 2 weeks after getting my nails done here, she said that they did a decent job and I could go back there again for a fill if I needed to and was in the area. ** This review is specifically for nail technician, Cheyenne! ** Cheyenne, you are a gem and SO amazing at what you do!!! I so appreciate her ability to be so detail-oriented and patient! I frantically scheduled an appointment with a nail tech at Perfection Nails with the hope that someone would save and redeem my 2 back-to-back SNS powder manicures that were chipping nonstop within 4 days apart after getting them fixed a different salon in Sandusky. I finally gave up and decided to give Perfection Nails a shot! I'm so glad that I gave it a shot! I'm typically not overly particular with my nails, but after gone to numerous nail salons while living in LA & DC, my expectations are quite high. Cheyenne was so understanding, patient and thorough with my nails after explaining to her my disbelief. She took the time to explain the condition of my nails and what products she'd be using to ensure they don't break easily, especially since I haven't used gel polish (they don't do powder/SNS products at this salon) in a while. Almost a month later, I'm ecstatic to share that my nails are still in perfection condition as the day I got them done! BRAVO, CHEYENNE! Well.... I came here because the reviews I could see looked decent and wanted to get a pedicure before a special event I had. I made an appointment weeks prior for a pedicure with gel. I showed up to my appointment and was greeted right away and signed in and got into the pedicure care all within 2 minutes. The people were very friendly and the customer service was the best thing from my experience. I got my pedicure and everything looked good to the eye so I paid ($60 which is a little expensive to begin with) and left. As I got home I realized I never got any sugar scrub, calf massage, got a very minimal effort foot massage and only got lotion on the top of my foot. My calluses are still all over my feet even with the little bit of scrubbing they did. I have cracks and dry skin still everywhere you look because I never got lotion on the bottom of my feet. I then realized I had polish on my skin, toe nails they were uneven or very sharp, and cuticular skin that wasn't clipped. I am disappointed to say the least and considering I paid $60 and tipped 20% I felt like I should've gotten way more lotion, scrubbing, massage and more diligent polish. I called and the manager is kindly giving me 50% off next time I come in since I can't come get it fixed but even still I don't even want to go back. * Pictures were taken same day as service* read more

A good nail salon. Much as I expected from like salons. No massage chairs for pedicures but a good polish collection and friendly staff. Was pleasantly surprised by how well my technician handled my ingrown nail. Typically technicians skip properly trimming that nail or they try to rip out the corner of the nail in a particularly painful way but my technician removed it without hurting me at all and my polish was very even. I would give five stars if it weren't for the condition of the foot baths for the pedicures. They didn't seem very clean in my opinion- discoloring and some rust around the drain. I saw technicians diligently cleaning after they had finished with clients but it may just be the tubs are old and need replacing. read more
