She made sure I was comfortable in her space, which of course I was, it was so calming and welcoming!! We went ahead and did a lash lift & tint and an eyebrow wax & tint. The services at Timber & Willow are fairly priced and super reasonable considering the high quality of waxes and tints used. I have super sensitive & fair skin and was amazed that the wax left me with minimal redness. That speaks for the quality itself! I definitely would recommend services here, over and over again, whether you're super blonde with light features like me, whether you've got dark & full futures that you're looking to accentuate, or whether you've got any hair you want removed. They're probably great. But if you can't do the fun colors, just tell a customer that upfront and don't lie to them. These hairstylist had no idea how to do an ombre. The first girl actually left blotches of white in my hair from the bleach. My husband who never notices my hair actually said to me on vacation why are there big spots of white in your hair.

The building is large with an open feel and everything looked fresh and new with a relaxing color palette. The lady at the front desk was unfriendly and gave me a bad first impression. My aesthetician was Tracy and I really liked her. She had such a warm and friendly personality and was very easy to talk to. The waxing room was spacious and the bed I laid on was heated. For the first time ever, the waxing did not hurt! Tracy said she preferred to use hard wax on the delicate underarm skin because it is gentler and she was right- I barely felt any pain. She used regular wax on my legs, but still- it wasn't half as painful as at other salons. Another plus is that the half leg wax included the knee. Most places don't do this. I was very impressed with the job she did and will definitely be back to see her.

Now I've been waiting a month and I'll reschedule for another 2 weeks to just have it happen again? I thought that part of this school was teaching professionalism? This definitely would not fly in a professional salon. I'd rather pay 3x the cost and have it done when I schedule than save some money and be rescheduled 3 times. A little more notice would be better for those they reschedule in the future.

She is friendly, easy to talk to, and just real. Sometimes the women I've seen at other salons can be a bit fake or flaky, but not Ashley. She also knows her stuff. Over the years she has taught me a lot about skincare. At each visit she takes her time to do it right - carefully waxing, tweezing, and everything else. Some staff at other places I've visited can be lazy or careless, but never Ashley. Also her prices are AMAZINGLY LOW. She could charge so much for her level of quality work, but I'm so thankful she's affordable for us folks who don't make that much money! (Lol). Ashley is amazing!!!
