Meh. Bad bar food. Overcooked dry chicken wings. Buffalo sauce for chicken tenders was sweet??!? and sticky. Fries mushy, flatbread over cooked hard crust. Food looks like it was just thrown on the plate. Absolutely NO LOVE put into any of it. NONE. The size of the menu was the first red flag. Way too many options to be able to say they are fresh. Two full pages of every kind of style food imaginable. The menu is all over the place. Given this is a chain, I'd say everything comes frozen and pre breaded, nothing is made fresh. Quality of food compares to what you find in an airport. AND NOT INEXPENSIVE either. Def not worth the $$$$$ read more

We've given this restaurant multiple tries and they've failed every time. Our last visit was to the bar to catch a football game. It's a great environment with lots of seating and TV's. The food however, is terrible. They can't seem to make one thing right. Ordered the Bam Bam Shrimp and they came out cold. Not warm, COLD. How are you going to serve fried shrimp cold? I really like the patio and would have loved to enjoy another game here but would never want to eat here again. read more

Visited today for lunch with the wifey. We got a 16" thin crust pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pizza and 5 boneless chili lime sriracha wings. This was a good visit! I really enjoyed the pizza and wings! This visit has redeemed some sub-par ones. I'll definitely get either of these again. That wing sauce was especially good! read more

The food is excellent, there are several great dishes to choose from, but it is so cold in there we can hardly wait to leave.

Their food is great and I love their chicken tender and fish. The atmosphere is great for families and senior citizens.

Let's start off with the worst parking lot in this entire town. Shaped like a V with only one way in and one way out. Very narrow. And if you park in the end 4 spots on either side, good luck getting out if you didn't back into your spot. The fried pickles.... Close to $9 for 6 pickle spears.... Come on now. And then they're served with marinara??? The Caprese sale was very good. More than enough food and the chicken was amazing. The Perfect Prime sandwich, very disappointing. It says "shaved prime rib". Don't be fooled, it's not shaved prime rib. It's more of the consistency of ground beef or maybe like a Philly cheesesteak. 100% not shaved prime rib. Also comes with raw red onion. You can ask for the au jus, but it doesn't come with it. The service. We had a guy named Earnest (Earnie) that was amazing. Came and saw us as soon as we sat down, got us our drinks and took our order. Food came out pretty quick. Drinks stayed full and we had frequent check backs to ensure we were ok. read more

I always love going to Jonathan's Grille for their "New" Smash burger. Unfortunately, on my last visit, our waiter was Pakistani (which is no big deal), but he was rude when I ordered the Smash burger "loaded." He made me tell him exactly what I wanted on it, and I forgot the bacon jam, which "makes" the burger so special. I got an unseasoned double cheeseburger...so disappointing. The saving grace is I ordered the Bam Bam Shrimp tacos to go for dinner that evening and they were delicious!!! I guess since I didn't have to tell him how to build those, they turned out perfect. My new "favorite" order item will be the tacos. read more

AC on blast. Had fried pickles, flatbread ,smash burgers with sweet potato fries. Decent place. Staff nice. Ran out of all the beers I chose but I'd go back. read more

The service was great. The food was so bad, we took two bites of everything, paid and left. We felt bad but it just wasn't good. I am not a picky eater and very opened minded but my wife and I couldn't even bring ourselves to suck it up and eat it. Foods ordered: Spinach artichoke dip: tasted like canned spinach and creamy milk. Fish and chips: fries came out cold, fish had cornmeal breading, just a matter of preference but we like beer battered. I asked what kind of fish it was and the server said nobody knows. We thought it was funny honestly. Mystery fish is not appetizing. Godfather sub: lettuce was very bitter and wilted. Had ground sausage in it which was strange. Bread was toasted with lettuce but meat was cold which gave off a strange contrast in temperature. Either go hot or cold, don't play both sides. $16 for a sandwich better not be mediocre let alone downright terrible. Staff was really nice. 10/10 highly don't recommend. read more

Wasn't impressed the happy hour but the service was pretty good. For it to be a sports bar I would think they would have more options for cocktail specials during the week. I wasn't to impressed with the spinach dip either :( I'm looking forward to go back to check out the entrees. Waited 45 minutes to get my food and that was 45 minutes after being seated. My Caribbean Chicken then game out without any glaze on it and the pizza was subpar at best. Probably my last time eating here. read more

The food price is high as is the wine. We go there every so often and recently we went and found that if one uses a card to pay the bill, Jonathan's now adds an additional 3% fee along with taxes and their "development fee". We saw nothing about the card fee on a door and didn't see it on the menu, if it was there. The first we found out was when we got the bill and our waitress was kind enough to add a note on the bill which she then circled. If I don't have cash, I won't be back. And if I have cash, I will be careful not to let the bill plus taxes plus their "development fee" exceed the cash in my pocket. That probably won't be an issue since I rarely carry cash. I think they have lost the reason cards have been a boon to businesses as it eliminates bad checks, the costs (and dangers) associated with having to process cash and the ability of one to patronize a business when short on cash. Sorry Jonathan's, I'm a digital man and cash and checks are so analog. read more

The food there was amazing. I got the "smash burger". The music was okay, they played rap music. Went for a fathers day dinner at Jonathan's in Madison AL. What a mistake.... I ordered a burger with pepper cheese and bacon. When I received it the roll was burnt on the top and bottom. I nicely sent it back after the server said I think that's the way its suppose to be. When they returned it to me I cut the burger in half, it was suppose to be medium(they asked me twice how I wanted it cooked) it was between well done and a charcoal briquette. They sent the manager over to see what she could do, I explained my problem and decided just to send it back without even eating. We were in a party of six everyone else just felt the prices were very high for what you received. For example a chefs salad with little meat for $17.00. Then we received the bill 3% development fee, then 3% for paying with a credit card. Also read the sign on the counter it says all menu have 3% cash discount included. WHAT A JOKE!! I just hope this review saves someone from what we went through. read more

Great atmosphere for watching a variety of sports. Large draft beer selection. And the menu is big and a lot of choices. I especially enjoyed the bison burger. Plenty of staff willing to help when needed read more

I was fairly impressed with Johnathan's, on the outside it looks like a fancy restaurant but on the inside it's more relaxed and a mix of a sports bar. The atmosphere was nice and it was a seat yourself establishment. It took a while to get my food and the salmon was over cooked. The wild rice and vegetables were delicious though! The chicken Alfredo pasta's sauce lacked flavor but the chicken was very tasty. I would go back to try something else on the menu to see what all Johnathan's has to offer. 3/5 read more

Walked in on a Sunday, right before 1. We were told. 45 minute wait for a party of 6. It turned out to be about 15 minutes, so we started out on a good note. We had so many options to choose from which was nice. We settled on the Cajun Sausage Pasta, Chicken tender plate, Taco salad, Fajita nachos and the Horseshoe burger. Nothing disappointing from these choices. There was so many other things I want to try so we will be back when we are in the area again. read more

This was our first time eating here and it was very average. The place was so hot inside, I was sweating. We both ordered a drink each, brussel sprouts appetizer, a salad and the bison burger. The brussel sprouts were unevenly cooked and very greasy. I enjoyed my salad, but my husband did not like the bison burger at all. He said it tasted like gross ground beef. We have had bison in Montana so he knows how it should taste. He said the fries were good. There were lots of TV's so maybe it's a good place to watch a game and have a drink. read more

The food was okay for the price, nothing to write home about! Ambiance was somewhat noisy, but expected for a sports bar. The waitress was sweet but the service a little slow, guess it was typical for a Friday night. What ruined the night was without telling us, a 3% fee is added to the bill if you use a credit card. Our party of ten all thought this was unusually greedy and could have better been done by adding 50 cents or a dollar to the menu prices. What we all concluded is that in the future the tip will be reduced a corresponding amount, hurting the unsuspecting server, while the owner continues to profit relentlessly. read more

Love their BBQ Chicken Flatbread, but Saturday when I ordered it , it wasn't cooked right. They offered to recook it and add more sauce but it still did not taste right. I was hungry so I did eat it anyway but as you can see the pizza on the right looks delicious ( the way it usually look) and the one on the left is the one I received Saturday, big difference. Service was great however I was just disappointed with my BBQ Chicken Flatbread. I have been telling people to try it and would hate for them to try it for the first time and eat what they gave me Saturday. The place has a nice atmosphere and there's a lot of room. read more

My husband and I went to Jonathan's for dinner tonight. The food was good. I have no issue with the food. The service was simply not good at all. We ordered an app and both ordered our meal. The meal arrived about 20 seconds after they dropped off our appetizer. We did not have a chance to even begin to enjoy or try the app before our dinner arrived. Then only to be all but ignored after that. My husband desperately needed a refill of his iced tea that he just simply gave up on trying to get. We did not order anything complicated or unusual and no substitutions requested or anything like that. We had one app for the table and a burger for him and sandwich for me. We are now debating if it is worth going back again. We are not "entitled" or "Karen" acting types and we are usually quite understanding with wait staff but come on ... my husband should not have to have simply "given up entirely" on getting a simple refill of iced tea. Just sad. read more

I saw several negative reviews which made me nervous to try it out but I'm glad I went anyway! I placed a pick up order so I can't speak on the inside too much. I will say it is very open, plenty of TVs, and a large bar. Can't wait to go back during Happy Hour. The food though... Delicious! I'm not sure why there were so many negative reviews. It's new so you have to give the place some grace. I took the recommendation from a previous review and got the Baja Fish tacos and i am not disappointed! The fish isn't fried but it's still crispy and seasoned to perfection! They look blah but the flavor was there. Now the wings...Jonathan's understood the assignment. The lemon pepper wings were crispy, juicy, and tasty. They used plenty of seasoning so every bite makes you wanna dance. My husband got the Hangover Burger and said it was good but nothing worth reviewing. The onion rings are kind of small but good. Can't review them properly bc they were soft by the time we got home. Overall, go! Two thumbs up. Try the tacos and wings. Pro Tip: Call in your order if you want want to wait. And Give them some more time to work out the kinks. read more

Sat at the bar for about 10 minutes before we were even seen. Finally got our drinks. Then it took another 10 minutes before they saw we were ready to order. This salad was not made the way I asked for. That is suppose to be blackened chicken. It isn't. That is chicken that was tossed is salty spicy crumbs overly coating the chicken. My boyfriend got a pizza which he enjoyed. Probably not going back read more

First of I really wanted to like this place due to its location but Best thing about this place is it's new and has lots of tvs if that's what your after. Happy hour not so happy. Drink prices are high compared to other places in town. Food menu is extensive so probably do nothing really well What I had was mediocre at best. Don't see this place lasting. Food prices most sandwich's are 15-20$ so off the mark as well for the quality and presentation Will be my first and only visit Martini 14$ with no martini glass? Place needs a serious management overhaul. Lol had to ask for a napkin with my food. read more

This is a new restaurant in Clift Farms. It's a very large nice looking restaurant with a huge bar area that has lots of TV's. We went for lunch about 215 on a Saturday and it was pretty packed with football fans . Luckily we found 2 seats at the bar. The bartenders were both very nice and attentive. The beers are cold and the food came out quickly despite the crowd. My wife got the Bam Bam egg rolls appetizer and I got the French Dip sandwich. We don't eat a lot so we took 4 of the egg rolls and half the sandwich home. Both were on the better side of good. We had 2 pints each and food. With a nice tip it was $63. They have a nice variety on on the menu and it's a nice place so we will be back. Just not every weekend! LOL read more

I understand it's hard to be a bartender. Please treat all customers no matter their race the same.(I am a black female who barely got service bc the bartender was entertaining some white men) Everyone deserves great customer service no matter what they have between their legs or what color they are. A bartender should also let you know when you purchase a top shelf and house drink are going to be the same price. When the bartender has to yell to make a scene when you write a nice constructive criticism note on the receipt there's a problem. Why are you yelling at the customer? I'm sure this will not get addressed just letting you know my experience read more

This restaurant is still fairly new so I'm guessing they're still working out the kinks. The service was good, but slow. My group ordered drinks from the bar which were decent. We ordered appetizers in which a couple came out before the food, but most came with the food which at the point we had way too many plates on the table. The food was okay. It's not something that I would make a special trip for. This space is very open, but the parking lot is small making it hard to find parking. I hope it will get better as time progresses. read more

First time visiting Jonathan's Grille. Only had about a 20min wait. We were served our drinks and appetizer very quickly after ordering them. We tried the bam bam shrimp egg rolls (not pictured), which were tasty but not enough shrimp, heavy on the filling. The chicken alfredo pasta was really very good, not overly creamy or salty. The wings were just okay, lacked any salt at all. The bistro burger was pretty middle of the road, the onion rings were not very good at all (heavy on greasy breading). Overall a pretty decent restaurant but on the pricey side, though we were able to bring some leftovers home. Would rate at 3.5 stars. read more

I'm having difficulty giving any rating since my husband and I were never waited on. We watched other customers being seated and served while we just sat and watched. We also watched groups of wait staff just standing around chatting. I really hope the lack of service was due to incompetence of the staff and not a prejudice against handicapped customers. We will never go back. Very hurtful experience. read more
