This location has not yet slowed down after opening early October. My friend and I showed up without a reservation Friday night and it was understandably packed. I ended up parked closer to the Publix down the road than to the Grille, but since it was just the 2 of us we didn't have much trouble scavenging free seats near the bar area. The main bar is the perfect layout for a sports grille, bartenders are friendly and service is attentive despite the crowded feel. We did not plan to come during a happy hour but Jonathan's has a special going on pretty much every night of the week, so we got $2 off on the "beers of the month". My friend was sure to order the Buffalo Dip, which should be one of the key staples of an American sports bar. It sadly did not live up to her expectations (her golden standard of Buffalo Dip is the one served at Top Golf, can't argue with her there), the main issue being that it was not nearly spicy enough. Tried this place out and was disappointed. They were out of the beer I ordered and took 10 minutes to tell me that. The pretzel appetizer was soggy and we could not stand to take more than one bite. No one likes a wet pretzel. My sandwich bread was also to wet. I could not even pick up my sandwich to eat it because it fell apart. The fries were just okay. The waiter saw we did not eat all of any of our meals due to how bad it was. He did not care to ask us what was wrong or if we wanted a Togo container. Wow. I can not believe how amazing this restaurant is. I have heard that it is "just a sports bar" so I was expecting kind of a rowdy little bar, but this is the nicest "sports bar" that I've ever been to. We were told a 45 minute wait on a table but we found a spot at the bar - but the wait would have been worth it. Very, Very basic!!! Upon entering the hostess couldn't seat us, because she was chastising another co worker. Steak egg roll appetizer was fairly delicious and then it went downhill. We ordered fish and chips which was delivered near cold. Husbands pizza was completely wrong and no rush was put on the replacement. Ketchup bottle says Heinz, but a low grade mop-water tasting sauce came out of the bottle. Ranch dressing for my salad was watered down. And it took 20 minutes for someone to bring me a different hot sauce than I requested. They had 4 options. As far as the pizza... a Digornio would've been better. We just came for the first time after I heard rave reviews on the radio and from locals. I won't be back. We sat at the bar and were barely dealt with. Their cocktails menu is so plain, none of the food we got, had any flavor. I had a Philly cheesesteak with fries and none of it was seasoned, even putting salt and pepper on them didn't make them any better. My husband had fish the chips and he said his tasted like it was frozen and then reheated and again no flavor, he put ketchup all over his stuff. This restaurant is new so some of the things are excusable. We had a group of 8. All of the drinks were badly made except my Ice Tea. I and another person ordered soup. They both came out cold. Even the replacement soup was cold. I didn't get my replacement soup. I had the Taco Salad and the chicken in it was burnt and overcooked. Dry. The service was very slow but they were busy. I am very unexpressed with this place. It's too expensive to also have bad food. The staff including the manager needs to be trained better. read more

The worst service ever for a new restaurant. The waitress took my specific order the meal came out with everything I didn't want on it. The runner dropped the meal and took off. Needing napkins and silverware.... never had a chance to get that. Drink ran out 3 bites into meal. waited 15 minutes watching a bar staff of 4-6 people talking to each other and working on iPad screen probably to figure there tips. I knocked over my cup of ice on the bar to see if that would get anyone's attention. HA. Not a chance. After additional 20 minutes I stopped random waitress and asked for manager 5 minutes later he came over. Guess he was a manager? but I do know he was 1 of the 4-6 bar staff that completely ignored my presence for 30 plus minutes Will not recommend. Ordered the Bison burger that they claim is seasoned when it tasted like beef from Publix, when i took a bight then stoped eating the server asked to take the dishes we were done with so i sent the appetiser plate and burger plate back then tried to get me to re order something but at this point i had no appetite so i said im good. I took my two grandson to dinner on a weeknight. Because of their age we could not sit inside the bar area. There were a good number of open seats in the bar area and the tables. Even so, we had to wait 20 minutes for the table. Grandson's ordered pizza. Both said it was "ok". I noticed the crust was prepackaged and likely sourced from an outside supplier meaning it was not a unique crust. For an establishment that prominently places pizza on the menu, this was a sad discovery. I got the Philly steak sandwich and fries. I would give it two stars as the sandwich filling was dry and overcooked. Its obvious the filling was not cooked to order and sat in a hot pan for hours. Restaurants make money in the bar. Hopefully this is enough because the kitchen is not dishing up winners with that sandwich or pizza. read more

Ate here for my son's birthday earlier in April. Food was good. Ambience was great. Waiter was friendly and our food came out relatively quick. The 4-star was because, after asking if the fish in the fish sandwich was whiting and not catfish, and being told that it was whiting, then finding out it was indeed catfish, was the reason for that rating. I must add that after calling and speaking with the manager, about the issue, he was very apologetic, understanding, and respectful. He was willing to make things right, and he did. Tbh, I'm not really sure why this place such great reviews. This was probably the worst place I've been to in a while. Fries were cold and hard and the cooks turn off the fryer 2 hours before closing, so they can't do most of their menu after 9pm. The kitchen refused to make a lot of the stuff and just wouldn't bring it out until we asked about. One person at our table never got their appetizer. I ordered a sandwich to-go around 9:45 and was told at 10:30 they can't do it after waiting. I don't know if this is just because this place is new but there are a lot of things that need to be improved. read more

I ordered two chicken tacos to go, and, although the service was satisfactory, the food was extremely disappointing. First, I received one chicken taco and one beef, which I did not order. The tacos contained very little meat, and the meats they did contain were mostly scraps, highly seasoned and cooked. The seasoning did not disguise that the meats were most inferior and inedible. It appeared that the meat I received was discards. The price was exorbitant for the extremely poor quality. Additionally, the lack curbside pickup is extremely disappointing. I have been to a few other Jonathan's locations, and this location is just as great as the others. Very extensive menu, and everything that I have tried has been so tasty! You can't go wrong with the fish and chips (I get mine blackened). Sweet potato fries are delicious as well! Try something different on the menu every time you go!! I visited in Sunday night with my 2 friends. Liza was our bartender. She was amazing. We got our food hot, our drinks were fantastic and most of all the service was outstanding. Looked like all the bartenders were having fun taking care of guests while watching some great football. That is my idea of a sports bar and restaurant. Can't really say the food was horrible but I've had better. I had the 3 meat fajitas which the meats and veggies were perfectly cooked. They give you enough meat for five fajitas but yet they only give you enough cheese, sour cream,and salsa for one and a half. Add to this that there's no rice whatsoever offered with the fajitas which is strange. Our long haired hippie waiter seemed to disappear whenever a refill was needed and the coup de gras for a night of sh*tty service was attained when this same waiter comes and throws my glasses case which he mistook for a pot holder on a greasy food plate. And later he takes away the damned plate and I'm not completely finished eating!! Service was some of the worst I've ever had in a restaurant. A little over $47.00 for substandard fajitas for 2 and a waiter who genuinely acted like he could care less. If I were Johnathon I'd want to take a hard look at my product and especially my service and improve on both dramatically. I won't be back. read more

Our reservation for our Christmas party was not honored tonight. The room was given to another group even after the reservation was confirmed this morning. The space given for our group was less than enjoyable with excessive noise, TV's and tight space for 24 people. Im currently sitting here and the bartender Mo has literally taken at least 6 minutes to make the servers drink tickets. He is too busy having small talk with his bar customers and seems he cant multi-task. He doesnt seem to care about the servers tickets. We waited 7 minutes for an angry orchard bc he was in the corner talking to an employee that is sitting there. It is literally only 7 people sitting at this bar. Other than this our server is great and patient with him but it shouldnt take 7 minutes to get a beer to the table. read more

Stopped in for lunch and sat at the bar around 1:30 pm. We missed the lunch crowd, hardly anyone there in the dining area or the bar. The bartender did not acknowledge us until we had been sitting there for about 10 min, kept walking right past us, there were maybe two other people at the bar so not sure why he ignored us. We ordered the soup and salad, figured that would be fast and easy. It took about 1/2 hour from the time we placed the order until we had our soup and salad, felt like that was a lot of time to wait for these items. The soup was fine, not great but not horrible, it was warm not hot. We had the Waldorf salad, which was not the traditional Waldorf salad. This is served as a "dry" salad, it sat on a bed of very bland iceberg lettuce and the chicken was rubbery. It had chopped apples, a few grapes and very minimal blue cheese crumbles and pecans. On the side was some type of Italian vinaigrette (?), this did not compliment the salad at all. The whole salad was a disappointment, Wendy's chicken salad is much better than this at a fraction of the price. Overall, based on the time it took to be greeted, the time it took for our food to come out, and the quality of our food, we will probably not be back. read more
