But the older lady working was so rude about it, she said "I was saying next customer" wish such an attitude so I told her I don't understand Spanish. Paying was another pain in the butt. She told us only cash or Zelle and pointed to an atm that was out of service so we had to scramble and try to work with the horrible connection to send them their money. After 10 mins it finally went through but I don't understand why in 2026 a business does not have a credit card machine and if you're going to point me to the atm at least make sure it's working. the cherry on top was that the "happy birthday ivy" I asked her to write on the cake was very sloppily done. I don't care if the cake is the best I've had I will not spend another dollar here... my suggestion is to make check out much quicker and simpler and to have employees who are nice to customers and who speak English

Manhattan Sweets is beautiful, and you're always greeted so warmly, and everything you get there is a hit. It's my go-to for a box of mixed cookies when I'm having guests or when I am going somewhere as a guest. Their rainbow cookie cupcake is super-special and they'll accommodate pretty much any custom order conveniently. The brownies are great, the baguettes are phenomenal - you can't miss with this bakery.

There is street parking and multiple municipal lots within walking distance. The shop is long with many cases and displays of baked goods. Everything is labeled clearly and the packaging they use to wrap your purchases is very visually pleasing. Better looking wrapping if you are looking to bring something to someone's house. They have gluten free options and quite a few items you don't typically see other places. The employees working were friendly and knowledgeable. They were also extremely patient with the more indecisive customers. Overall I would recommend this bake shop for a fun change to your typical bakery.

The cupcake was so delicious and I love that they included a layer of jelly in the cupcake itself. The cookie on top was such a nice addition as well. Super moist and super flavorful. Staff was super friendly and the service was quick. Lots of options, and super clean. Would absolutely recommend and will be coming back.

I am surprised to see the negative reviews of Park Bake shop on here honestly. We have been coming…read morehere since we moved to the area 5 years ago and this is honestly one the best we have ever had. The negative reviews are kind of funny because of what people are complaining about. One guy went here to get coffee? No, this is not the place to get coffee, walk in the door and see that, it's not what they do. I don't think they even have an espresso machine here. I do have to admit that Park Bake shop does do breads and bagels but they are not very good. I tried once or twice because they looked good but the taste just isn't there. But what they do well is cookies, cakes, and pastries. Pretty much anything in the cases are excellent. All the cookies are awesome, always fresh, and all reasonably priced. I love Park Bake shop and will continue to come here often!

If you likes sweets or even just once in awhile ... this is the place to go. I think it's a great…read moreplace for a box of desserts for a party or bbq. Something different than these pastry shop chana etc. First off Terry was unbelievable sweet & friendly. He went out of his way to be helpful & patient with me because I couldn't decide on Flavors or the amount. I guess I am old school or maybe just plain weird but I really like making the HUMAN connection when I am out & about.... I feel like people just aren't very socia anymore ....for a number of reasons . ANYWAY , if you have not been to AhugaPie Shop you ABSOLUTELY MUST GO. So I guess most people would equate a sugar pie to a Whoopie pie. These sugar pies are pretty big and a half of one is more than enough. Terry told me some people buy them and cut them in half and freeze them and take them out as they want them. Which I think is a great idea and is which what I did because I do not live nearby, but I would definitely drive to the end of the Earth for more. It's just one of those places. And I am not a big sweet person put the cake is just always soft and flavorful and delicious. And the filling is the right amount of the flavor and whipped cream and sugar. I think they have like 10 or so flavors available every day and they switch them around. I've probably tried five or six different flavors over the past two years and again all of them were very consistently delicious and amazing. I can't even explain it . It's just perfect. I've had them a few times before when a coworker brought them in. And I finally got a chance to go myself. I was so happy to share the experience with my family.. personally I love the chocolate cake with the peanut butter filling. So if your peanut butter lover, OMG go go go!!! . The product is very consistent. They do have a very specific hours. And as Terry recommended, it's always best to call ahead and either order , check the flavors of the day . & or the shop hours. It kind of blew my diet, but it was well worth it.. please go you will not be disappointed.. the only negative thing I can say about my experience is I wish I had bought a more of a variety of flavors. But that's on me l. Thank you Terry for your kindness - people like you restore my faith in mankind. and you make a dang good SHUGA PIE
