Terrible. Have been coming to this Jollibee for years. But it has been harder and harder to stop to this one even though it is only a few minutes from home. The customer service is terrible. The manager is inconsiderate, cheap, and rude. If a customer is going to wait 45 minutes (not an exaggeration) for 2 single orders of chicken, you could at least tell the customer. Or at least compensate. I understand that the workers don't always have the ability, but the manager was right there and did NOTHING. And, on top of all that, they have decided to stop serving breakfast. That was the best part of this place and the only reason I put up with this place's negatives. Do yourself a favor and find another Jollibee or place to eat. At least until they hire a different and better manager, and the customer service overall can improve as a result. read more

It's ok here. It is ALWAYS, and I mean ALWAYS busy! Too busy, but they actually get your food out pretty quickly, depending on what and how much you order. I usually come for the Halo-halo though. It is not a good as Golidocks, however you get two flavors of the ice cream (ube/mango) and there are a lot of mix-ins. It is also about 4.00+ for them now, a tad pricey. Also, you need to get the peach mango pie's. They are so crispy and crunchy, never have I ever gotten a stale non crispy one. They have always been served to me fresh out of oven (I hope?). I have long been curious about trying Jollibee, and so I came with my family and got both a bucket of Chicken Joy, and a Halo Halo. The ordering process was quick and easy but then...the wait. I stood around (since we weren't eating directly in the restaurant, but rather in the food court seating just outside) and watched as the employees pulled together the orders. I'll give them this - they weren't lazy. But holy hell were they inefficient AF. I have never seen a more disorganized staff, and everything seemed to require being done over again and again because of either mistakes with the orders, or employees not realizing what had been already handled by their co-workers. I watched as everybody there (and I) waited upwards of 20 minutes for our food, and I only got my food after I inquired about it - they hadn't even begun putting it together, and yet had somehow moved on to orders after mine. There was no system for getting out the orders in an organized manner, and even the manager seemed to be operating in a frenzy. Once you received your food, you have to also bother the staff in order to get napkins or utensils, which also further interrupts their work. Every Filipino knows about Jollibee. I remember back in the day I'd have to drive 45 minutes just get to the nearest one. It's amazing how they've been here in Concord for years now and I am only just starting to review them now. Food: 5/5 - Basically what you expect from any Jollibee location. Their chicken joy is moist and delicious. My wife prefers Jollibee's chicken over KFC or Popeyes. This isn't a Filipino bias either, since she's Mexican. I love their burger steak, which is basically a loco moco. The mushroom gravy on top of a bed of rice is to die for. Service: 2/5 - now, the people at the front are friendly, but the experiences I've had were definitely not as pleasant as their personalities. Twice now, I've gone and they told me they ran out of the spicy seasoning for their chicken. Mind you, this is like 4pm on a weekday, how do you run out that early? I've had several family members who have experienced the same thing with other menu items. Cleanliness: 3/5 - they were pretty quick to clean up the tables during the busy times, though it wasn't fun having someone literally mop under my table as I was eating my dinner. Overall: 3/5. Regardless of what you order here, the average wait time is 30 minutes. It is the most inefficient place to order food. Been ordering from Jollibee and the experience is always slow service and the management really never try to improve their service. You will come out of this place as a "grumpy bee". Only the best summer dessert on the PLANET. Okay. Maybe I'm biased. But for me, halo halo epitomizes summer in a cup. With its azuki beans, shaved ice, coconut jelly, coconut strips, jackfruit strips, drizzled with condensed milk topped with scoops of vanilla and taro ice cream, this dessert is all kinds of goodness. All the different textures with the beans, shaved ice, ice cream, make my mouth completely happy. My halo halo was made by non other than my good friend from school Arielle (despite what you may think, I paid $3.95 for my halo halo. No freebie = I can write about it). If you grew up here, it would be a completely foreign concept to think of fast food as luxury. Growing up in a small, rural town in the Philippines, fast food places were far and few in between, and the menu comes with a price tag that could easily afford at least two homemade meals*. Fast food places were the place to go on first dates, throw birthday parties for your children, or any other special occasions. Should you feel inclined to judge us Filipinos harshly, let me reiterate: fast food is EXPENSIVE. The higher prices mean these fast food places have clean facilities (i.e. sparkling clean tables). They also provide great service -- friendly, cheerful staff not only taking your order but also bussing your table for you once you are done (noteworthy is that no high school kid is ever behind the counter or in the kitchen). Perhaps the most surprising detail is that they use actual china and silverware -- yes, in fast food joints! -- as opposed to styrofoam and plasticware. Jollibee is the Filipino answer to McDonald's, and it was a big part of my childhood. Top honors in my class? My parents would do the hour drive to Jollibee where I can order my favorite Jolly Hotdog and spaghetti. First date? My first boyfriend took me to the Jollibee in Manila and generously told me I could also order a sundae to pair with my peach mango pie. Leaving my friends perhaps forever to move to the States? My friends took me to the Jollibee in our provincial capital -- which was 30 minutes away by jeepney from my home -- where we shared spicy crispy fried chicken and tried to ignore the sadness that comes with goodbyes. This Jollibee is the nearest to my new home. Gone are the fancy aspects that can be found in the Philippines. The food, served in styrofoam, also is slightly greasier and bigger than what I grew up with. They really are just similar to McDonald's with a higher price tag. The service is friendlier than the other fast food joints, but it is also slower and a bit disorganized. Amidst the English, Tagalog can be heard often. If I closed my eyes briefly after taking a bite of the fried chicken, the peach mango pie, and the halo-halo, it would be so very easy to delude myself into thinking I am back to simpler times and happier days. To this day, I still find myself absently humming the jingle from the iconic and hugely popular advertisement which featured a kid longingly counting down the days until Saturday when her parents would take her to Jollibee. To this day, a bite of their familiar fast food offerings is more than enough for me to think of home and all the good memories I have of home. To this day, Jollibee brings me joy. And because of these, despite the flaws, this Jollibee is as good as it gets for me. Because, after all these years, the truth remains: panlasang Pilipino at home sa Jollibee!** *What can I say? Homemade food is easier to find and considerably cheaper than fast food. After seeing Anthony Bourdain visit a Jollibee in Koreatown in my hometown in Los Angeles yesterday, I just had to check it out and lucky for us, we have one nearby in Concord. My hubby and I actually toured around the foodcourt and tried a bit of this and that. I found out about the foodcourt from a nice lady that took me on a test drive of a Mazda from a nearby dealership a few months ago and we got to chatting and I asked her where to find good Filipino food and she drove me by this place! I asked her where she usually went and what she got and she said "Jollibee" and she always had the spaghetti, which didn't sound particularly traditionally Filipino to me, but it sounded interesting. Anyway, my hubby did not want to try this place and thought the other places looked better and less like a chain, but I HAD to try this place. You know, because of Anthony Bourdain and the Mazda lady. So, when I got to the counter, I asked the server what was the best thing they had. She said "for you?" and I said, "no, for YOU - what is your favorite thing here?" She said the spaghetti and chicken. So -- I had the spaghetti with a piece of fried chicken, that comes with a little tub of gravy. I also ordered the Halo Halo, because that is what Mr. Bourdain had -- and it looked like a party in a cup. Halo Halo is a dessert conconcoction that mixes really hard cubes of colorful gelatin, cubes of flan, ice cream, shaved ice, garbanzo beans, red beans, coconut and evaporated milk. It is multicolored! So we dig into an array of food and the spaghetti turned out to be one of our favorites. It looks like normal spaghetti, but there is a slight sweetness to it, and there are slices of hot dog and tiny cubes of ... spam? I don't know, but it was good. The fried chicken was very crispy and the meat had a ton of flavor from being marinated. Way way better than KFC! The Halo Halo was very rich and fun. Eating garbanzo beans in my dessert along with hard jello was weirdly fun. I could only eat half. The place was PACKED -- so many people eating that spaghetti! Next time, I will need to try an Aloha burger (with pineapple!) and a tiny spam sandwich. read more

This place has the WORST service I just want to SCREEEEEEAAAAAAAAM!!!!!! UGHHHHHHHHHH!!! Anyway, be prepared to wait in line for about 10 minutes because their cycle of taking orders/making your order takes FOREVER! I even think I am going to write a letter to their general manager with suggestions of how to make things more efficient. Their way of doing things is just stupid and not practical.. so once you FINALLY get up to the cashier.. the cashier takes your order/money then they are the ones to physically go and get your food.. As a result, the people in line wait much longer... like why can't they have someone taking orders to give you a number and then have someone else preparing your food? Hence, making the line move faster. I have also noticed that some employees are in the back doing nothing or moving at a slow pace of 1 mile per hour! A couple of weeks ago the cashier gave my order to the person who ordered after me (when i was standing RIGHT in front of him! HELLLLLLO!). The lady brought back my order w/ my palabok spilled all over the bag & the cashier just tried to hand it off to me like nothing happened. I swear they need to get it together! This is a good location, with a Red Ribbon Bakery built into the same space, and it is the best Red Ribbon Bakeries I've seen so far... I had no idea that they served up all that food, and can't wait to try an empanada. I love the burger steak (two seasoned burger patties, served with rice, topped with gravy and mushrooms)! I think Jollibee has some great fast food french fries, too. They are similar to Burger King and the new Jack in the Box fries, but not quite as iconic as McDonald's (or In-n-Out, but that is a very different fry). I don't think the full menu is properly represented here... I couldn't find the full list of Little Big Bites (which include corned beef, spam, hot dog, and egg & cheese), or any of the Breakfast Joys. I'm assuming they serve them, but they aren't very visible as far as I could see. I was disappointed that they serve Pepsi products, but that's how it goes at all of their locations I've been too, and I guess Mug Root Beer is..... OK. It is great to have Jollibee and Red Ribbon as a new food option in the area. edit: oh, I forgot that there are people that use Yelp to boast about their superior taste in food. I assume most readers have the ability to recognize that Jollibee isn't going to be gourmet, and that the reviews generally judge whether the restaurant fulfilled their intentions. I don't think you'll have your wedding reception here, but it's awesome in a fun food way. You're not going to learn everything about Mexican food by eating Taco Bell, and you won't learn everything about Filipino food from eating Jollibee. But big deal. read more

I have been waiting for this place to open in Seafood City, and I was excited to see the open sign. This place was packed and there was a Huge line out the door. They just opened last Saturday and I was amazed to see such a long line. I waited for about 10 minutes, but it gave me enough time to decide what I wanted to order. I went ahead and ordered a #9 which is Sweet Spaghetti and 1 piece Chicken Joy with a soda. I also ordered 2 Mango Peach pies. The Staff was friendly and the place was Super Clean. They do take Credit Cards and their Hours of Operations are 7am-10pm daily. I will be back and order a Buko Pandan or maybe get some Halo Halo. Food is really good but 3 stars for always messing up orders. On more than one occasion, they have messed up our orders and we would only notice it by the time we are at home. Such as a bucket of chicken have 5 legs and 1 thigh (should be 3 of each), missing sides, asking for spicy and not receiving spicy, and many more. Check your order before leaving. read more
