I went here like last week. I got a hot stone massage for 90 minutes. It starts off with them massaging me with the sheet, must be a Covid thing but after 5 mins of that they massage the whole body without. It was a good massage and it was a bit pricey $100 and I did a $20 tip. I wouldn't mind booking another appt. read more

Best massage hands down! I came in with my mom to get a full body massage they got us in right away and got us a room together which was also super nice. Lina and Dora were very very good and very sweet i totally recommend them they gave the best massage and were super accommodating! Im definitely booking again! read more

I was a regular at Daily Massage here in Elk Grove. I'm an older golfer with a bad back. After being treated by different masseuses I found Sandy. She is the best. When she relocated to JoJo Massage I followed. For me it's worth the extra drive. She knows my back and relieves the aching muscles throughout my body. It's as if she knows where I hurt without my having to tell. Ask for Sandy. You won't be disappointed. read more

So this is my second time coming to JoJo's Massage and I have never been disappointed every time I come they do an amazing top job. Lisa is who serviced me this time and I believe she serviced me the first time if you need to have a body relaxation session you need to go to JoJo's Massage and ask for Lisa as little as she is in plenty of her hands. Are she packs a powerful, powerful strong grip just the right pressure she is awesome. She cracked pool and popped everything where it needed to be cracked pulled and popped. I'll be back Soon. read more

JoJo Massage - I was SUPER EXCITED to get the 30 minute foot massage REFLEXOLOGY!! - Massage Near Me - Sacramento, California

It was my first time here and I was immediately relaxed when I entered the establishment. I had the pleasure to get Monica as my masseuse. I'm used to deep tissue and "painful" massages, Monica took the time to undo every knot in my back. She was very attentive and asked a few times through the service if the pressure she was applying was too much. I absolutely loved her, she was like an aunty. Everything was clean and professional. I highly recommended Jojo Massage! read more

Anna was amazing! Walked in, no appointment, quiet, relaxing, except the washing machine needs to be replaced.

I bought a Groupon. My last day in Sacramento. She said she took enough Groupon and to try another day. Told her I'm leaving. No is a no. She told me I should've book an appt before buying Groupon. Luckily Groupon gave me credit for that place. Soo. I'm giving it a 3. read more

They asked for tips before service is complete. Hopefully they are under new mgmt. I used to live this place.

Such an amazing experience. I had Lina the masseuse and she did a 2 hr massage and got all my knots out and I added the hot stones which I highly recommend. I will be going back regularly. Inside was very clean. read more

I've been to a few massage spas but I enjoyed this location the most. They always make me fall asleep!!

I had a great experience! I am 6 months pregnant and I request a two hour foot and body massage. Anne was my masseuse and she made be feel very comfortable! Her and the owner made this the best experience! For my foot massage they elevated me so I wasn't laying flat on my back and for the body massage they had a pregnancy pillow that I was able to lay on my side. Anne continued to ask if I was comfortable and made sure I was relaxed and okay the entire time. I would highly recommend and will be back especially as a pregnant lady! read more

I have never felt so discriminated against in my life until today. I walked into a massage place, and the first thing the lady at the front desk said to me was, "You must pay first." I was shocked and asked, "How can I pay for a service that hasn't been rendered yet?" She eventually told me to go ahead and start the massage. About 10 minutes into the session, she walked into the room and asked if I was okay with the massage. I said yes, and then she insisted I had to pay immediately because her manager said so. This was while I was still receiving the service! Feeling incredibly uncomfortable, I told the masseuse to stop, grabbed my things, and left. As I walked out, the lady at the front desk called the manager, who backed her up, claiming this is how they do business. I found the whole experience to be so shameful and degrading. read more

I have been coming here for years. However they do not prioritize and respect your time. I had made an appointment with them over the phone 2 days prior. Once I have arrived at the location at my appointment time. The lady didn't see me in the list and called her manager. The manager knew we had spoke over the phone, I stated the date, time, & duration of the call. She told me to come back later & that "we are busy". I had spoken to them how do you take in walk ins when I already had an appointment scheduled prior? The manager didn't acknowledge the my dissatisfaction and disappointment with the service. Dismissive and unapologetic. Please do not come here. I was a returning customer, very disappointed. Go to Relax Station. read more

Today I had Cindy massage me. She was so attentive and massaged so well. She helped with my muscle aches and made me relaxed. This is my 5th time here and I'm never disappointed at all. I even took my sister and family here for massages and they loved it too! Definitely recommend and any masseuse you get, they are all great and professional. Thank you so much!! read more

I finally gave this place a try. Only cause it is so close to my house. My mom went here pre Covid and she said it was not bad at all but nothing special. I actually walked in on a Saturday around 6pm and asked for a the $45 hands and feet massage. As told the lady who took me in gets 4/5. She tried her best and check on me if I was comfortable or not because I am a little too tall for their chairs in the communal room. I am 6"2. The most uncomfortable and painful part is when they lay you down flat but soak your feet in the bucket it cuts the damn circulation to my calf and hurt as hell. They need to get a better system for that. read more

Great massage a nice relaxing massage hope this good work continues so that they get more business

I come regularly with my bf and have had full body massages from 3 diff people, with Richard being my favorite. The other 2 weren't bad, but just not as good. They've always been professional towards us. During my last visit, the therapists for us took a while to get to the room and I was worried about that lag time counting as our massage time (since we were already in the room), but I heard one of them confirming to the other the proper end time of the massage which was relieving. While waiting in the lobby one day, I saw a few workers upset over low tips from customers but only after the customer was out of the door and they didn't dwell on it. I haven't seen anyone make a fuss over low tips when I'm there but I guess they probably wouldn't if other customers are around. The best massages I've received so far in my life costed at least 2x more, so for the prices that Jojo Massage charges, I'm happy. read more

if zero starts was an option boy would i click it. as soon as i put my head into the face whole...the odor was unexplainable. it was the most stank, horrid, nasty, disturbing, disgusting, stench i have ever smelled in my 38 years of life. that smell...i can't never forget. beware if you get a massage here that you'll be smelling a horrid stench for an hour. the massage was also too hard and i was left sore for days. i had to call out of work for the time being because it was that bad. read more

I've came here multiple times prior to the pandemic and enjoyed the messages here. We finally came back for the foot reflexology message. I tried the ginger soaked for an extra $5 and my cousin did the regular. First off, we made an appointment 3 days in advanced, when we arrived the front desk personnel told us that there's no appointment marked down for us but they can squeeze us in. We walked in and the community room only consists of 4 message chairs and the lights were not dimmed as it should have been. There's no relaxation music on but you do hear a bunch of employees chatting in the back. My message was mediocre and nothing to rave about. I get a better foot message from my nail technician then I did here. It appears that they have change ownership. Overall, did not have a good experience and will most likely not be coming back. read more

I used to get a massage here all the time pre-Covid. I recently went in for massage and I asked the lady in the front to match the Groupon price. She didn't exactly match the price, but eventually said you can do the massage, but then took away some of the hot rock services and wanted to charge me $10 more. The massage was horrible. I was drenched in oil And the guy who was doing the massage had some sort of upper respiratory infection along with the incoherent, mumbling I would recommend not getting a massage here read more

This was our second time here getting a full body massage. We felt very comfortable and had the best massage we've ever had. The hot stones were great! Special thank you to Lucy and Michelle! They are detailed, professional, and very kind. Our new favorite spot for relaxing! read more

I use to come here frequently and always received great, professional affordable massages. However, my recent visit was a major disappointment. The masseuse didn't seem to know how to massage and completely avoided my thighs, Cavs, glutes and legs all together. She mainly rubbed my lower back and shoulders by sliding her hands up and down. I initially told her to focus on my lower back and shoulders with more pressure. But that did not communicate apparently. Overall, a weak and subpar massage by someone who's certainly not a CMT as they advertise. Still the best value in town, but definitely not the best quality. read more

One day I submitted PTO for work and decided to indulge in a self-care day instead so I decided to go here for a massage. I believe I did the hour massage with essential oils. I showed the front desk lady my Groupon and she honored it but made me pay for the full service upfront which I thought was odd. I proceeded to avoid conflict. Then, once I returned from my massage which was great by the way but sanitary and aesthetic could've been better the lady tried to persuade me to give a tip compared to asking. I will not be back here! read more

Tbh it was good but not great. I was thinking if she used one of those massage guns with all those different attachments would have been more beneficial. Some some spots have good techniques and I can't say hers was great but it was ok. I had good experience overall though. read more

Ok, so I've been getting "foot reflexology" massages for close to a decade. I have tried this same location 3 different times in hopes that maybe previous bad experiences there were just a one-off. Unfortunately, that just doesn't seem to be the case. Pros: If you want your calves/shins to be massaged in the same place over and over for 30 minutes straight, than this is the place for you. If you hate your feet being touched, then this is the place for you! My "foot reflexology" massage consisted of a 5 minute portion on my feet. =/ They are very nice and kind. I will give them that. Cons: You just feel like you are being grabbed at the whole time. The massage isn't calming or relaxing. It just feels like they are rushing through the motions and grabbing at your skin in an attempt at a massage. My massage therapist used lotion over 40 times during my hour massage. I don't even know how that is actually possible. I left and immediately had to take a shower. I was covered in lotion from head to toe. Regardless of the experience, I still tipped because they were kind and polite, but I will not be giving it a 4th try. read more

JoJo Massage is hands-down the best massage place that I've tried thus far in the Sacramento region. There's a lot of other similar type massage shops throughout every city, like the big chain Happy Day Spa. This massage place is Chinese-owned with emphasis on reflexology and ginger massages. The entire place is nice, quiet, and clean. The staff at the front desk is extremely friendly and welcoming. No stress, no hassle, or pressure like many other massage places. Kevin was my masseuse and this was actually the first time I've had a male masseuse. I generally don't mind, but it just so happens that every time I go get massages can my masseuses have always been females. Kevin is amazing. Upon entering, he greeted me with a smile and then quietly worked on my knots and pains. The pressure was perfect for me (I normally favor softer to light/moderate pressure) and that seems to be his norm, so if you enjoy harder pressure, you might have to let him know. His style is very different from many other massages I've had before, he seems to know reflexology well because he pin points certain areas of my body and presses on it firmly, which then was followed by relief. Definitely found my go-to place with a favorite masseuse. read more

I called to schedule an appointment about 30 minutes before I arrived and had Nina as my tech. She was amazing! Strong hands and checked in to see if she was applying enough pressure which I really enjoyed. I look forward to coming back to have her massages. I left feeling so refreshed and the next day I feel just as great! I haven't been to Jojo since before the pandemic and they have since remodeled. The community room which is where the lower priced massage packages is smaller so there's less of an echo overall. Their foot and body package for 1 hour is now $35 which is a very good price compared to other places in the area. I did take off one star due to other people who I assume are the workers talking and walking loudly through the rooms which my tech had to remind them to be more careful. Overall I enjoyed my experience much more than I did before the pandemic and look forward to my next visit. read more

Richard is AMAZING!!! My mother saw Monica and said 5 stars amazing, she booked her again for next week while we were there . Richard found every knot in my body and rubbed them out. I was really excited to come here, but after my experience I wont be coming again. The beginning started off rough. Prior to my apt, I scheduled the services I wanted. Upon arrival, I reiterated what I wanted for me and my partner but for some reason it could not be met. What I thought was accommodated was not. The massage was ok but it hurt. The next day my back was aching as if I just had a workout. Also I've gone to many massages and this wasn't superb or anything but the price was. For the quality I thought, I could get the same massage or even better somewhere else for a better price. The most frustrating part of the appt that topped it off in a bad way was that in the end the worker demanded tip to be $20/person. No way, who does that? When did we not get to choose how much we want to tip? If you plan on coming here, be aware because they won't tell you till it's time to pay up. This was my 1st time to experience this. To sum it up, this place is pretty wack. Definitely room for better customer service! read more

Went in for a 1 hr full body massage with my SO. I believe our masseuses were Cindy & Tim. Unfortunately, I can't recommend either or the full body massage. We both left in more pain than we came in with--my SO could barely stand/walk after being elbowed in the calf so hard and my skin feels raw from all the forearm rubbing. My neck and shoulders are more tense and in way more pain than before, hopefully it's just the 'it gets worse before it gets better' type of thing. Foot massage isn't included :( It was extremely awkward twice--first, when we came in and the front desk girl took us to our private room and didn't give any instruction. We weren't sure of the procedures here so my SO had to ask when he went out to use the bathroom. Second, was after the massage, when Cindy was just standing there at the front desk watching me pay/pressuring for a tip. Two things to note about prices: they have mini combo & full body massage passes that include 5 massages (making full body massages $37/each). Hot stones are no longer included with any of the massages, it's an additional $5. Supposedly you can get a ginger crystal foot massage with a yelp review, too.. All in all, I would be willing to go back and try out one of their cheaper massages. Last note: full body massage is like a regular massage in which you strip down to your undies in a private room; cheaper massages are clothes on in the the 6 bed community room. read more

Incredible service and incredible prices (my jaw dropped when an entire hour was only 85$. I asked to do a scalp massage for the last 15 mins instead of additional work on my shoulders. PURE BLISS. Ugh, it was the most soothing and comforting thing I've ever experienced. She did quick pressure points and on my temples and it was literally exactly what I needed.
