UPDATE 10/2018~~~…read more Went here again and Shirley was not as good massage-wise as last time. I mean some of it was slow, deep, purposeful and intentional but some hand movements was fast (I REALLY dislike very much fast massages) disconcerting and very unrelaxing. In addition, she answered the phone 1x and got up 2x to answer the door. This was my biggest pet peeve last time and they still haven't hired an extra receptionist. In addition to that, the "hallway" where they massage is very unrelaxing and really does feel like a hallway. As in an afterthought or extra space they used just to stick extra chairs because they had no room elsewhere (which they don't). and when the ladies talked to each other, they weren't in complete whisper to be considerate of my paid quiet time. I won't be back. OLD REVIEW~~~~ More like 3.7 stars. I am rating up to help the business cuz my massage lady was so nice The place was clean, new & modern from the lobby. The lady at the desk knew we were coming. She seemed nice on the phone & was kind and smiley in person. I think her name was Shirley. Walking in and you see about 4 or 5 massage chairs & maybe 2 massage rooms. Note to self: can't come here for a big group. The chairs looked really Asian. Not that that's a bad thing. Just a different motif than the lobby area. And its not the black fake gushy leather massage chairs that I am used to. It was cloth and kinda harder than usual. Not horribly hard, just not as plush. I asked to start soaking my feet. My sister and I were the only one there at 7pm on a Saturday. This place must be real new I am thinking. She began and it was nice. Her pressure was decent. I liked it. The MAIN reason I docked a star is due to that when a person came in for a massage, she got up and answered the door. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I am thinking, seriously owner? You can't afford to get a receptionist? Then..a lil bit into my massage she went to the place she gets the foot water and starts talking to someone on the phone. I can hear her even say, "I'll call you back." I'm thinking, "Yes you better!." Anyhoo..I was hoping I can rate this place higher cuz I need to expand my foot massage horizons. I may try again and if she keeps answering the phone & door, I am looking elsewhere. Sister had the other massage lady and she said she liked her but it was "different" She said it was like her 6 year old daughter was massaging her. Lots of pinching. I wanna try the cupping massage technique. Supposed to be very detoxifying.

I'm totally disappointed with this location. The first time, I had a great experience. I loved it so…read moremuch that I started to recommend people to try out this location. Last night, I went for massage. During the massage session, the therapist stops to answer phone call. She doesn't say anything to me and leaves the room. I lost five minutes from my session. On top of that, she massages only for 40 minutes. I looked at the time when she started and ended the massage. Plus she didn't apply enough pressure and used her elbows mostly. They definitely lost me as their customer.

I love a good foot massage and was excited to try a new spot, but unfortunately this experience…read moremissed the mark for me. My appointment started about 5 minutes late, and after being seated I was asked to soak my feet. I was told it would be about a minute, but according to the timer it ended up being a little over 8 minutes with no other service happening during that time. At other places I've been to, the foot soak is usually paired with a scalp or face massage, so this felt like lost time -- especially since I had arrived early to use the restroom so we could start on time. The foot massage itself was actually uncomfortable. The therapist wore gloves, which I've come to expect, but instead of massage oil they used Vaseline. I've never had that used before, and it created a lot of friction rather than glide, which made the massage feel rough instead of relaxing. Afterward I was moved to the table for the upper body portion. I've had similar services elsewhere that include neck, shoulders, and even face work, but none of those areas were addressed here. The paper covering where you place your face was also very scratchy, to the point I had to rest my face on my hands to stay comfortable. Overall, this just wasn't a relaxing experience for me, and I won't be returning. I'll be sticking with my usual place going forward.

I did have a health concern. I noticed they were using a tub of Vaseline and scooping it out with their hands (even though they were wearing gloves). I wasn't sure if that tub was for one-time use or shared between clients which made me uncomfortable. The place itself looked clean and decent. Overall, good massage, but the hygiene detail made me hesitate.

I got a chair massage and it was pretty intense, which I really like. The masseuse was unfamiliar…read morewith the chair's mechanic and had trouble adjusting the chest pad which was vertical. I asked about the arm rest that was folded up. He messed around with it and motioned to put my head down as he was unsuccessful at unfolding the rest. So I there I sat, with my arms dangling. With all that considered, it was still a pretty decent deep tissue massage. The only thing that really rubbed me the wrong way was the end. I had paid before hand, a little weird but no biggie, and at the end he brought back the receipt and asked what I had wrote. It was pretty clear that it was $5. I said $5 (total was $30).He said "oh that's it". Definitely not professional and left a sour taste in my mouth.

All right folks, it's not often I buy massages on Groupon, but I decided to go for it since it was…read morea pretty good price and it was on Groupon after all? I walk in and there are two employees working on massages, the front desk woman was a very friendly older woman but seemed confused when I walked in. She called somebody -they spoke in Vietnamese and then the woman on the phone told me it was no problem that they would do my massage. Which I didn't understand because I had an appointment and a Groupon. We walked to the back where the private rooms are and there was a man laying on one of the clean beds on his phone, they got his attention, they continued speaking in Vietnamese and then he led me to my room. I said I needed to use the bathroom because I wanted to check and see if there was any red flags that this place might not be on the up and up. I walked to the bathroom and an older gentleman and the one female employee that was working was walking out to the lobby, he was glowing, literally all smiles, must've been a good massage. I use the restroom come back into my room and I'm told to undress, I didn't realize they were having an older gentleman do my massage, so I kept my pants on out of comfort. Bless this man's heart but he was no masseuse, he might as well have been rolling Tonka trucks up and down my back, he had half my butt cheeks hanging out because he was trying to get my lower back but it was awkward because he's a man. He kept massaging really rough and I would correct him and ask him to please go softly, he would for a minute or two and then go right back to being rough again. He just didn't know what he was doing. When he started working on my lower body I noticed that he was folding my legs in different positions so that he could work all the inner, outer, just every part of my thigh, my butt cheeks, everything. He wasn't groping me, but he wasn't hesitating in the least to give my glutes and my inner thighs just as much attention as everywhere Else. After everything was said and done, I came out to tip him, they spoke in Vietnamese a little more and then the woman said next time I should take my pants off so that he can really do a good deep massage. I'm thinking to myself, if I was just in underwear with all of the funky positions that he was putting my legs in, spreading them apart, butterfly position I mean you name it, there's absolutely zero way I would've been comfortable with that. So just note you might get a male masseuse, who clearly isn't a masseuse, and if you are stripped down to your underwear you better hope that you're solid to be sitting in butterfly position. If you know you know lol. Before I left another middle-aged man walked in, handed them cash and he asked for the only female masseuse that was there that day by name, she seemed fairly busy with the older gents. Edit: I wasn't gonna mention because I thought maybe I was just being paranoid but I left $10 because the massage was just not very good. I might normally leave $15 or $20 depending on the quality? The amount of effort and technique used, but there was absolutely no way this man was professionally trained. I definitely felt uncomfortable when I left $10 by the woman who was taking my tip for the gentleman. She actually asked me if that was all I was leaving lol. At first I thought maybe she didn't realize I had a Groupon, and thought I needed to pay for the service and tip together but I'm seeing a few other clients mentioning the tip situation so now I'm convinced she was actually being so brazen as to ask if that's all I was leaving for a tip. Oh dear lol
